Konflyk Report post Posted February 20, 2012 Placing your staff on your body from a good distance(usually outside of an opponents attack range/hitbox) will prevent them from rushing you, as they get wary of being hit by the staff and punished for it. Same with during block strings, just make sure you space staff placing properly, and mix it up time to time, don't become obvious or fall into a pattern. But as said by above poster, go into training mode, set the computer to block all, and practice block switching(or set the dummy to mash a DP or some type of normal) that's really all I can offer.
