D4rkWolF11 Report post Posted March 20, 2013 Bang's Command grab is very good for resets, and in certain setups. It's more experiment in matches and see what kind of opponent you're facing. It's also a good idea to train your opponent to block a certain blockstring or setup then hit them with a command grab reset instead. One of my my favourites would be in the corner after a long combo get a knockdown with jC and hit them with poison nail if they neutral tech its guaranteed a command grab reset that you can take raw damage or rapid cancel for seals or max damage (5c > 2c > 623b > aircombo into more knockdown and more oki). Also off knockdown TK D Nails(2369D) into dash command grab is a popular one most people keep blocking when put into this "blockstring" so its a free command grab, but they ARE able to just jump out if they see it coming. So just hit training mode and experiment with it As for drives, its a risk reward kind of thing, you can delay the teleport to avoid autoturn hits, but if you delay it to long depending on which drive they may get through it with lows or the guardpoint running out. You can try to make it safer by super crashing or just rapid if it doesn't work out.(This might get you more pressure and a combo if you get a hit) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Dreiko Report post Posted March 20, 2013 The best way to land a tick command grab and the one which nobody seems to know or use is after a blocked J4B. People never press buttons after it cause if they mannage to block the crossup they're on edge and are thinking in the defensive part of their brain. It's really easy to land command grabs off of it.
