Lynxfort Report post Posted January 13, 2013 (edited) Pretty clever way of responding to criticisms that characters all did too much damage in AC. Instead of trying to tweak and rebalance everyone simultaneously, just roundly buff health! How is that can effect the balance of the game...?? what i understood (and correct me if i was wrong) Buffing the health will help.. 1- characters that depends heavily in tension .. the longer the battle last the more tension will increased so they will had more chances to use FB's and RC's or FRC's 2- characters with high gut's rating.. so the most one will benefit from this is anji..right..?? kosmos badgirl Report post Posted January 13, 2013 No news about the release in Europe, right?.
Skeletal Minion Report post Posted January 13, 2013 I think the health increase was a smart move. Average combo damage in GG is probably 40-70% of a healthbar, and by increasing health, they were able to focus on mainly offering buffs while keeping nerfs to a minimum, with less worry of general damage trending towards being too high overall. shtkn, I believe it was posted on one of the guiltygearx.com +R change lists. Skeletal Minion Report post Posted January 14, 2013 EVO Donation Poll update: GGAC+R is currently in 4th place! http://shoryuken.com/2013/01/13/evo-2013-donation-drive-standings-and-rule-update/ But here's the really interesting bit: more info can be found in that link, but basically, FiM will not be selected for the 8th official EVO game since it's unlikely to be ready by then and the developers don't want to rush it. Instead, the game that places second (assuming FiM places first) will be chosen. Guilt Gear is only $636.42 behind Melee, the current 2nd place holder. There is a very real possibility of Gear winning! EVERYONE DONATE

Circuitous Report post Posted January 15, 2013 Where did the 460 value come from? Not doubting you, just curious I don't see a listing for health in the mook. The moonrunes might explain whether or not it changed, but I can't read them, so... There was definitely a note in one of the loketests that they upped health from 420 to 460. I didn't see anything else about health after that.

NGOrder Report post Posted January 15, 2013 Oops, I almost forgot something. Though what I am saying is not gameplay related, there was a Color Edit feature (previously found on GGX Advance Edition and GG Isuka) and we might want it back on the AC+R update. If this happened, then I would make my Sol look like Terry Bogard on my future matches.

muffa Report post Posted January 23, 2013 So any news if ACPR will feature in this year's Tougeki? I lost interest in SBO since GG was scrapped, really wish they brought it back.
ElvenShadow Report post Posted January 24, 2013 I don't know about tougeki but Arc System Works is basically having their own SBO this year for GG, BB, and P4A. http://arc-revo-cup.jp/ It will have regional quals just like tougeki except that everything is singles tournaments. I am fine with this because at least i don't have to worry about finding teammates and can pretty much just go to whatever quals I want to without worrying about other people's schedules. Plus its easier to beat one top player to advance instead of 3 (in the cases where I end up with not so good teammates lol). I am really hype about this! Bloodcrave Report post Posted January 24, 2013 apparently now you can use paypal to add funds to your US psn account... some people are saying it works even if your paypal region is different from your US psn region, so maybe those in europe that couldn't wait for ggxxac+ could try this method out

Singles tourney does have some advantages, but I don't think it can be as epic as 3on3. Either way, i'm still hyped to see some top quality GG action, and good luck dude. You know, it saddens me that ASW doesn't take this as an opportunity to push BF, from what i understand the Nesica version has all the changes introduced on the console version (plus some visual improvements) so the game has better chances now.
