Rabbit360 Report post Posted November 1, 2012 To anyone who got the JP version, do you only need a JP account to purchase & download? Or do you have to actually use that profile to play the game / play online? Ideally I would want to use my NA account to play
Kyosuke Kagami Report post Posted November 1, 2012 (edited) I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use a game from a JP account in a NA one. I am curious about something kinda related, though. If you buy a digital game on Play Asia, do you need a JP account to use the code they send to you? Because I remember getting some NA codes in some Twitter contests but I was able to use them in my MX account with no problems. CupofT Report post Posted November 1, 2012 As long as that JP account that you made is on your PS3 you can play whatever game and access whatever DLC you downloaded from that account with your NA account. I've done it with VF5 and with Tales of Graces f DLC.
Hecatom Report post Posted November 1, 2012 They clearly label it "DIGITAL" in a blue box next to the product name on Playasia. If it doesn't have it then you are ordering the physical one. I know. But sometimes there are instances where weird shit happens, when i bought mine, it had the digital label, but for some reason the order was packed as physical, maybe he has the same problem. and even if is not, They shouldn't take so long, so is still a good thing for him to email them and ask why the late email delivery

minlexx Report post Posted November 1, 2012 (edited) Has anyone else tested online already? Do invitations work? I wasn't able to join any of my friend's room by invitation, and no one could join my room. Joining works only if I find friend's room in players' rooms list (with "same area" filter).. NeoStrayCat Report post Posted November 1, 2012 If anything like the XBL version, invitations to Player Matches should be the same...(unless you set the PM settings to "Invite On")
burningvigor Report post Posted November 1, 2012 I don't have a PSP - total waste because I jumped the gun. Well I'm sure you're not the only person who did that. So at least there's that.

kaeru Report post Posted November 1, 2012 For those having trouble getting connections to work, it might be worth a try to disable UPnP from your network settings on your playstation. I remember being completely unable to connect with certain people in blazblue until i turned mine off. To do so you must go into network settings and choose manual, it will be in one of the options near the end.

Star-Demon Report post Posted November 1, 2012 Well I'm sure you're not the only person who did that. So at least there's that. I couldn't find anymore 10 buck cards so I bought a 20. I now have 30 bucks worth lol. Damn...
SeraphisCain Report post Posted November 1, 2012 I love how people are stating prices for NA when it's not even been confirmed on cost. Stop spreading rumors. It's $15 on XBLA though. There's virtually no chance of it being more expensive on PS3 than it is on the 360. http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/GGXXACP/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d802584111dd
Oniros Report post Posted November 1, 2012 Will wait for a Canadian release. There's no way I'm paying more than $20 for this when I already have P4A for my fighting needs.

DragonLordZ Report post Posted November 1, 2012 So, can anyone tell me if the command lists from the pause menu are in english in the JP version? Or, if there are any command lists at all in game I suppose...
Kurushii Report post Posted November 1, 2012 So, can anyone tell me if the command lists from the pause menu are in english in the JP version? Or, if there are any command lists at all in game I suppose... AC command lists don't have names, only inputs. All the menus are English though.
Star-Demon Report post Posted November 1, 2012 So, can anyone tell me if the command lists from the pause menu are in english in the JP version? Or, if there are any command lists at all in game I suppose... the command lists should still be the completely uninformative ones from AC+, right? NM Kurushii got this. Yeah, I never liked that. I really think command lists should have character-specific normals, specials, and supers - all with labels.
ElvenShadow Report post Posted November 1, 2012 (edited) i also have the problem of not being able to join a match whenever i search on 360 as well how does ps3 offline feel compared to ps2/arcade? Offline the game seems just fine. I tried training mode for a few minutes and was able to do everything normally and didn't feel any lag. I played a bunch more last night (like maybe a total of 50 ranked games or something) and I was only able to connect when using Quick Match. Later on it didn't take long to get games. Most of them were playable but with some degree of lag. I had a few flawless ones but I would say that overall, compared to most other fighters I have played online in Japan (SFIV, Marvel, BB, P4A, etc) that this net code is considerably worse. I really hope they do something to fix it. I still was not able to get a SINGLE match from searching for ranked. Every single time, it says "Can't join the room. The room does not exist." Normally when I play other fighters, I also get iffy connections when using Quick Match. I always search and choose people only with green (optimal) connections and I pretty much never get lag. Since I am unable to do that with GG now, perhaps that is why I am getting lag. Once they fix this damn problem and I can just play people with green connections only, maybe I will get more flawless matches. For those having trouble getting connections to work, it might be worth a try to disable UPnP from your network settings on your playstation. I remember being completely unable to connect with certain people in blazblue until i turned mine off. To do so you must go into network settings and choose manual, it will be in one of the options near the end. I will have to try this when I get home from work. Thanks for the heads up. I really hope it fixes the problem. Edited November 2, 2012 by ElvenShadow
Rabbit360 Report post Posted November 2, 2012 I just got it off the JP PSN store, and the only PS3 version was actually 1062MB -- different from the 1092MB that the screenshot on the front page has http://www.dustloop.com/forums/content.php?442-GGAC-is-now-available-on-JP-PSN! Maybe more or less data is required for specific console models? :/
