Seriously, there were like mad lag spikes for all involved. I just started doing 4 open slots with one private, but I might slim my rooms back down to 4 open. The fact that everyone was on mics probably didn't help.

I think I've finally QoS'd my way to stable pings this time.

The bad news is that it requires me being a total asshat and basically capping everything that isn't mah gaems to like 50% of the total downstream bandwidth [and downloads to less than 20%) ;_;

I'll have to do it, since I want to prep for this tournament, but damn is it mean to everyone else. I'll turn the QoS on only when I'm gaming, though.

Utilities were included, and my rent is lower than at least two other people's since I lived here last year and the landlord gave me a discount for renewing the lease. The other person who might have lower rent is the son of the landlord. >_>
