and

But 1) has been updated in a year, and 2) only has singles matches (no 3on3s).

I tried googling both, but got what I already knew. Any help?

Bookmark this site (or this post)! You don't need to know how to read Japanese -- the relevant links are in English.

Scroll down to either of the SmileDownloader Version 1.16 links (the first is the EXE file on its own, the second is a ZIP of the EXE), click and download. (Extract if you have to, then) Run the EXE to get an installation wizard.

again, it doesnt' matter if you can read japanese or not (and it doesn't matter if the japanese characters even display properly!), use your intuition about what to do (look for N on the buttons, that stands for Next). It's a really quick install and should be pretty straightforward to figure out.

Open up SmileDownloader, and when you want to download a file, go to the File (F) menu, and select the URL item (first one, also denoted by (N) ). Paste the URL of choice and hit ok/Enter; save the file on your hard drive -- it will save as an FLV file. Ta-da~

well I sorta posted this in the slayer thread but in an effort to be more proactive I have a better way to download FLV videos for you guys... For this you will need firefox.

Okay first Go install Greasemonkey

you'll have to restart firefox when its done but after that the rest is easy. Greasemonkey is a scripting plugin that lets people make scripts to edit webpages.. Two amazing useful scripts are in existence to easily download videos from youtube and from Nico Video.

The Youtube script is at...

go there, click the install script link. It should pop up asking if you would like to install this... say yes... now when you got to youtube videos there should be a little link below them saying click to download video. You will have to rename them and add the .flv extension to open them but other than that you are set. Also works in windows and Mac yay.

Click the link that says nicovideon.user.js this once again you'll get a pop up asking you if you want to install say yes. Now when you got to Nicovideo there will be a button in the top left hand corner that says DL FLV click that and it should pop up with the name of the video and everything! Easy as pie.

There are many other useful scripts for Greasemonkey as well just do some reaserch.

Hey, I was told to move this here, so....

I saw a link from somewhere on these boards to a series of combo vids on YouTube, but for the life of me I can't find them now. Help plz?

Of course most YouTube combo vids are impressive, but these ones were absolutely ridiculously impressive, and I remember there was something in the name of the series that even hinted at that. (I could have sworn it was "excessive," like, "Excessive Potemkin combo", "Excessive Slayer combo", etc., but those aren't turning up anything.) The Potemkin one had about three or four Potemkin Busters in the same combo on several occasions (using PB, FB PB, and HPB at various points.) The most noteworthy thing I remember is that the Slayer one opened up with a 100% damage combo vs. Millia, flat-out killing her in like five or six seconds. The first thing in the video was she jumped toward him, he intercepted with Direct-Hit Dandy (2 hits) --> Direct-Hit Dandy (2 hits) (Millia is dizzy now) --> Pilebunker for the kill before she could ever touch the ground again.

Oh, and the Zappa one (and I think the Robo-Ky one but I could be wrong) had some infinites, and the video handled them by just speeding up the feed until they were zipping around at hyperspeed, then slowing it down again just before hit 300 or or so when they finally finished (with the kill or whatever.)

Please, someone tell me what I'm talking about and where they are again, because I need to show the Potemkin one to a friend of mine who plays him.
