Three brand new characters. None of them are Jubei and none of them are ones I really care for based on design and what I've seen.

Sad.

One of the backgrounds has TV's that show the fight on them, kinda like the one stage in KOFXIII. That's pretty cool.

A closer comparison would be P4U, I guess.

I have a weird feeling that the burst could be spent on different supers: notice how some of them have the usual blue background, while the others (Haku's Yukikaze, Bang's new nail move) have the red one. And those supers are the ones that have the "burst" icon open.

EDIT: Amane's distortion at the end of the trailer seems to have red background, too, but the icon is gray, not open.

Hm, Devoured By Darkness seems to have a massive damage nerf....

When Ragna does it on Relius, it only does 2208 damage and it was a raw hit.

I guess you're right, there doesn't seem to be the BK meter when he does it.

Using bursts on supers? Hmm.

Also did anyone else see Platinum's new trap present box?

Not sure about the supers, there are a few when it doesn't affect the icon

Just tested this on CSX, and as soon as the super flash goes off for Devoured By Darkness, the BK meter goes away.

Just noticed Jin's low Ice Car/"Freeze Dipper" lol.

Also I hope since the Distortion gauge is segmented into 4ths for everyone now, that we can all have EX moves ; -;

And with the lack of Guard Libras or any substitute I wonder how guard breaking will be handled.

Oh, I'm kind of wondering about the whole burst recharging thing, because if you go to the Bang segment, his burst icon is greyed out.

He does have 50 meter left over after he does DbD though. Still, it could've just been done in a debug/test mode or something, so who knows?

There would be no guard break. Defense might be the focus, like SF4.

Or maybe something like GG.

All I've ever wanted are EX moves (for everyone, greedy ass Jin) and hmm I don't think BB needs FRCs, I WOULD like to see the "1-More Burst" mechanic from P4U translate over to BB though...

Also, maybe the new split Gauge implies in a new mechanic like FRC or Force Break.

I think that's most likely the case. Burst Icon still disappears so something new would be cool. Even if it's something like a OMB mechanic lol. If it were, maybe if you use it for the purpose of extending a combo it takes time to recharge, but if you use it as a green burst (assuming it's still green) it just disappears for however long.
