[CP] µ12: Gameplay Discussion

Recommended Posts

It had to be done

Rofl Lord... I love it

You're welcome~

And just a slight technicality, it's a Shadow Labrys pallet, not Labrys

Literally 3 hours later after being told this I realize that mu pallet has the S.Lab yellow eyes

Sold and Sold --- also Im feeling kinda dumb

I see no image -- you obviously already have problems - I suggest a doctor ... or liquor ... or a hooker dressed as a doctor ... with some liquor

Sorry for the lack of updates, busy day at work today >_<

Not quite caught up yet, but posts up to 273 for now:

=

Some combos:

[Midscreen]

- whatever>3C>rc>Tsurugi

- whatever>rc>5C>6C>Ikutachi>microdash 5B>5C>2C>J2C>microdash 2B>5C>6C>charged Tsurugi

- 6B>6C>Ikutachi>etc

- back/front throw>dash 6A>6B>5C>6C>charged Tsurugi

[Corner]

- 5B>5C>Tsurugi>5C>2C>J2C>microdash 2B>5C>2C>J2C>microdash 2B>6A>6B>Stein or non-canceled Omohikane

- 6B>6C>Tsurugi>5C>2C>J2C>microdash 2B>5C>2C>J2C>3C>Omohikane

- Forward throw>5C>2C>J2C>2B>6A>6B>Stein

=

6B>6C>5D>CT>5C>2C>JC>J2C combos in the corner

=

In the corner, 5B combos after the Tsurugi sliding down (char specific).

Doesn't work on Amane, Carl, must be close to point blank to work on Nu.

=

Corner Combos:

2B>5B>5C>Tsurugi>dash 2B>6A>2C>J2C>2C>5C>6C>Tsurugi(Habakiri oki)

2B>5B>5C>Tsurugi>dash 5C>6C>CT>6A>6B>5C>2C>JC>JC>Air Tsunugui

low starter + 25% heat for 4000 damage + down.

Omohikane does 2500 raw

Tsunugui wall-sticks, has repeat proration, ground and air versions count as separate moves.

Due to Tsunugui wall-sticking, you can skip oki and go for air Tsunugui instead to increase damage and get a down.

Ikutachi has repeat proration

Feels like the time needed to guarantee Totsuka coming out got shorter. I ate a Tsubaki tackle while doing the pose and it still came out.

Also, you can crossover midscreen with Ikutachi into combo if you position yourself correctly from the opponent's tech.

=

Moves with repeat proration are 6B, 6C, Tsurugi, Ikutachi

Besides 6C, the rest become immediately techable when used a second time.

For 6C, you can still do a slightly charged Tsurugi after the 2nd use.

=

2C is not jump cancelable on block

=

3C>OD~ works

Near corner, you can do 3C>OD>6A>6B>6A>2C>J2C>3C>Omohikane for unburstable damage maybe?

=

For OD combos,

3C>cancel OD>C works, but

3C>jccOD>C doesn't.

I think Tsurugi>5C>2C>jccOD>2C worked in the corner, but it might have just been a regular cancel OD.

=

6A does combo from both back and forward throw, but the time you get is short.

I couldn't get 6A>6B>J2C to work no matter how many times I tried.

=

Midscreen 2B>5C>3C>rc>6A>6B>5C>6C>Ikutachi>j2D>back airdash>jC>j2C>(Air Habaya)

=

Ground Habaya trajectory change is pretty bad, it's super easy to airdash over for a ch.

=

From right up against the wall:

5B>2B>3C>Tsurugi>dash 5B>2C>hjc>J2C>5D>2B>5C>2C>hjc>J2C>3C>Omohikane〆(4000)

Confirmed on Ragna, Platinum, Rachel, ν-13

=

Ikutachi is only D cancelable on hit.

=

Midscreen forward throw>microdash 6A>6B>6C>Ikutachi>5C>2C>hjJ2C does ~3400, probably works on full cast.

Ikutachi switches sides, and like in EX, there are characters like Carl where 6A height, etc needs adjustments to make the combo work.

Ikutachi hitbox extends behind her, might be useful for crossup?

=

2B>3C>rc>6A>6B>6C>Ikutachi>5C>2C>jc>JC>J2C does ~3600, 5B starter does ~4000

=

Midscreen,

6B>6C>Ikutachi>JD>backdash JC>J2C>3C(Beam hit)>jc airdash JB>JC>J2C>microdash 3C>Tsurugi>Stein set

Confirmed on Ragna, Jin. Does slightly under 3000 with decent carry.

Forward throw>2C>6C>5D>jc airdash JB>JC>land 2C(Beam hit)>hjc>J2C>microdash 3C

Does a little over 3000, Tsurugi doesn't connect after 3C, might work if you do it right after 2C.

=

For 5B>5C>Tsurugi>microdash 2B>6A>6B>5D>JB>JC>J2C>beam hit>2C>JC>Tsunugui,

after J2C you can do ~J2C>JD>beam hit>Tsunugui to set 2 Steins in exchange for a little less damage. Tsunugui recovery is surprisingly long though, so it's hard to get oki after.

=

Corner, 4 Steins out:

6B>6C>charged CT>2C>jcJ2C>2B>6A>OD>6B>Steins 4hit>3C>Yata>Tsurugi>Omohikane (damage unlisted)

=

Low air Totsuka has better recovery than ground Totsuka.

2C anti-air ability is iffy, mostly lost to Arakune's JB.

=

Combos:

(Appropriate delays needed, forgot damage. Only listed the combos I thought most important)

Corner -

2B>5C>3C>Tsurugi>5C>2C>6C>Ikutachi>J6D>bdc>JC>J2C>3C>Stein>J2C

5B>5C>2C>Tsurugi>5C>2C>Ikutachi>J5D>bdc>JC>5C>2C>hjJ2C>JD

6B>6C>CT>2C>5C>Tsurugi>5C>2C>6C・投げ

Throw -

End on same side

Throw>5C>6C>Ikutachi>JD>bdc>JC>5B>6A>Stein>J2C

End on other side

Throw>6A>6B>6C>Ikutachi>5B>5C>Tsurugi, or aerial Tsunugui depending on distance from wall.

From 6B>6C, you choose between Ikutachi or 5D>Tsurugi depending on distance. You get to do old 6B>RC stuff without meter.

Thanks Hakimaru!

A note of interest on that 10k~

OD Habakiri hits 4 times, unknown if this is equivalent to the maximum charge version

Habakiri hits DO NOT PRORATE INDIVIDUALLY, this means that prorate is applied ONCE for each bomb placed. This GREATLY increases Habakiri's combo potential.

^ Lol. Well, it's definitely nice to see her damage is still scary, and she has seemingly more variety in combos now. 214D having better proration is amazing too.

Here's the rest of it for tonight, up to post 307~

Caught up!

Not sure how useful the information is though, since it's mostly combos.

=

whatever>Tsurugi>2B>6A>6B combo part works on Ragna, 6B hitbox might be higher?

I tried both

Tsurugi>2B>6A>6B>5C>2C>JC>J2C>2B>5C>2C>JC>Tsunugui

Tsurugi>2B>5C>2C>JC>J2C>2B>5C>2C>JB>JC>JC>Tsunugui

but damage was about the same.

The Tsurugi>microdash 2B>6A>6B~ combo part probably works on the entire cast.

Places where you would do 2B>3C(rc), you can now do with 2B>3C>Tsurugi(rc)>dash 2B

Using 50% meter from midscreen,

2B>3C>Tsurugi(rc)>dash 2B>5C>2C>JC>J2C>2B>5C>2C>JB>JC>JC>Tsunugui does ~3500.

Doing an Ikutachi combo from 2B>3C(rc) instead does ~3600, but the one above has the benefit of corner carry.

Also, 6C fc goes into 5D>Habakiri.

=

2C ch doesn't combo into 6B or 6A

2C ch>microdash 5C>6C>Ikutachi~ works though.

=

Corner

5B>5C>Tsurugi>5B>5C>6C>5D>jc>JB>JC>J2C>J6D>slight delay airdash>beam>JC>J2C>2B>6A>beam>6B>5D>jc>low air backdash

does ~4200 damage, sets 3 Steins, and gives you good positioning.

Doing Omohikane instead after the last 5D bumps damage up to 5052

=

Airthrow combos into 5C>6C without rc.

=

Corner

2B>5C>Tsurugi>5C>2C>JC>J2C>2B>5C>6C>Ikutachi>JD>airdash>JC>Tsunugui, untechable from wall-slam until ground.

Depending on the timing of the last JC>Tsunugui, you can hit with a beam and go into Omohikane too.

Particularly stable choice for characters like Amane who have small hitboxes when downed.

Damage is ~3600 meterless, ~4400 from 5B starter.

=

Throw combos:

Airthrow>5C>6C>Ikutachi>microdash 5B>5C>6C>Tsurugi

Forward throw>5C>6C>Ikutachi>microdash 5B>5C>2C>hjc>JC>Tsunugui does ~3271 damage

Throw -

End on same side

Throw>5C>6C>Ikutachi>JD>bdc>JC>5B>6A>Stein>J2C

What the hell does "bdc" mean? I assume it means backdash cancel after the jD but for the life of me I can't figure out how to connect 5B after a jC after a air backdash. I can do jC j2C instead but they tech before I can land and do 5B.

Also, got bodied by a Plat today, and similarly bodied a Makoto player before going home. Unfortunately my friend left so I couldn't get any footage. :(

(Makoto's so easy to fight against as Mu wut)

I'm personally liking her improvements in the next game, it kinda encourages me to pick her back up again she seems really fun this time around.

I have put quite a bit of time into Mu-12 since CS2. Not enough that would have made me want to use her in tournaments, but she is definitely the only character besides Valkenhayn that I have ever had a real interest in. Currently using nothing, but her in CSE... because she is more entertaining. Of course, it all seems a bit ironic that I am using her now that everyone is saying she is ' broken ' in CP. *Sadface*

Some of her changes in CP do look strong. 6B > 6C Gatling seems a bit nuts when just thinking about it. I think what is pulling me in more, though, is the ability for aerial habakiris. Well.. this is ontp of the fact that it looks like you simply have to do more with her to obtain the things you want.

To those posting all of this WONDERFUL info... Thanks! I'll continue to lurk about. ... Maybe talk? D: I need a new home~ Valkenhayn forums are barren.

Backdash Cancel the air stein set, dashing over them and linking j.c after tachi's launch.
