I-No Media Thread (Accent Core)

Recommended Posts

Did some digging on Nicovideo:

Part 1

Part 2

DF2 Qualifier finals between Ken (PO) / Koichi (IN), Mugen (BR) / Ogiwara (SL) and Tanbo (MA) / Nose (I think? ZA). [Koichi's match against Ogiwara looks A LOT like one of his vs. Slayer vids in the finals, I think vs. Kami-Chan? Same combos, same ending mixup and everything]

And SBO '07 qualifier vids I think:

Machaboo/012/BLEED vs. KA2/Koichi/FAB

[What appears to be] A fragment of KA2/Koichi/FAB vs Slayer-something (SL)/DIE-chan(AB)/Yume(BR)

------------

Was only about to post the DF2 parts but I found the others too so I figured I'd just dump them here.

Also I can't read Japanese so everything's inferenced or put through Google Translator to figure out; I didn't verify its accuracy with a real Japanese-speaking person. They are still Koichi vids in any case, so enjoy!

Hey Buckles, can you post up some Ten vids... pwease? :kitty: I remember you saying that you have pretty much every I-no player saved on your computer.

Thanks, and nope I didn't see it. I wouldn't expect anything else from Ten though. He's definitely my favorite I-no player. Instead of flashy combos, he plays very smart.

I'll do my best to get some up this weekend. Did you see his recent tournament performance on Nico?

It was pretty sick, he almost OCV'd a whole team.

Probably too late to even get a response but can you link this up?

He's really good, but the Slash incarnation of I-no made him godly. He went on a killing spree in the 23 on 23 video. Kind of curious to see how his hands move when he's playing I-no.

Yeah. I think Accent Core I-no has her nice points too (random FB combos off j.p spam is awesome) but having to lose that super sweet far slash CH combo and the guard gauge build from VCL, not mentioning having to frc it for a "fuzzy guard" (hate that term) is a bummer. At least all projectiles lost the guard gauge build (I blame slash ky, esp. vs bridget lol).

I've stood right behind Koichi, it's not so much how his hands move (though his execution is sweet), it is how calm he is doing everything. Seems like a cool guy.

If I had some more me v coma vids, you would see a lot more variety. Those are actually my best matches probably, or when I do good against Steve Harrison.

^^^Great post Honnou. Combos seem very practical. I noticed that they ended w/ vcl a lot as opposed to the dives. This gives me incentive to scrub it up in training mode again hehe.

vcl is awesome as a finisher. if it's low you can tack on a 2p cs/5k hcl into knockdown or if it's high you can add a 5p/5p cs into a throw reset or just leave it be for knockdown.

doing cs vcl frc etc in the corner is great too because even on a failed airdash it relaunches where a 5h hcl on wiff forces the combo to end.

The one labelled Yossan vs. Minami also has him fight Satou's Johnny; the one labelled Yossan and HEVEN has him a fight a Baiken. Just FYI.

Also I love his ending vs. Baiken.
