70698.png
Trophy-Platinum.pngIllusion of Time [刻の幻影]
This trophy is for obtaining every other trophy in Blazblue Chrono Phantasma

70699.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngAfter School BB Time! [放課後BBタイム!]
For this trophy you must complete all of the lessons in the tutorial. Make sure you have FN2 mapped to a certain button on your controller and you can use that to skip every lesson up until the end of the tutorial for your trophy.

70700.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngNext is Story Mode! [続きはストーリーモードで!]
For this trophy you must complete Arcade Mode with one character. Arcade mode consist of 8 opponents (some randomly selected and others pre determined depending on the character you choose). If you want to obtain this trophy quickly you can go into your options and change the following settings:
 • Difficulty: Beginner
 • Round to Win: 1
 • Time: 30 seconds (Up to you if you really want more time)
If you're feeling incredibly lazy you can run through it with Stylish Mode Tager (or any other character). If you can be patient about doing this trophy then knock it out after you have Kagura, Terumi or Kokonoe unlocked and do it with one of them for their respective trophies at the same time.

70701.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngThis is probably the highest score [多分これが一番高得点だと思います]
For this trophy you must clear Score Attack with more than 200 million points. This isn't a simple task, compared to previous games Score Attack is on longer the "difficult" mode however with the task of getting 200 million points you want to be able to abuse all the bonuses you get through the mode.

Let's break down your score first, you get a set amount for beating character character through score attack (roughly above 10 million) and then any bonuses for whenever you did during the match. Bonuses range from a variety of things such as:
 • Using Overdrive
 • Getting a Counter Hit
 • Doing x amount of hits in a combo
 • Using Distortion/Distortion Finish/ Astral
Theres plenty more but you get the idea and you want to rack up as much of this as possible. More importantly there are particular bonuses you always want to aim for which are as following:
 • Perfect Round (5mil)
 • Straight Win (10 mil)
 • No Damage (10 mil)
As you can guess Perfect Round is for not taking any damage in a round, Straight Victory is for not losing a round and if you take no damage through both of those rounds you get the no damage bonus totaling a 30mi bonus each match. You don't need all these points however they do help quite a bit if you can get them, so long as you can manage Straight Wins during each match you should be in the clear for the trophy depending on how many bonuses you get mid match. lA very easy character do this with will be Yuki Terumi and you can do it through Stylish Mode.

Yuki Terumi Strategy

As mentioned above you need to get a lot of bonuses to get the score you want for the trophy, one of which is Distortions and Doing x amount of hits in a combo. Through Terumi's Stylish mode you can achieve this with ease and with just one button, simply mash C with Stylish Terumi.

Doing this will give you meter whether your opponent blocks or is getting it and if you do get a hit you're almost guaranteed a combo ending in distortion as well as at least 20 hits, if you're lucky you probably could get a Counter Hit bonus from that hit as well and you can do this repeatedly in all your matches.

During round 2 of each match do the strategy above until they're about 50-60% health then use Overdrive for that bonus and lightly hit C to hit them under Astral requires. With Terumi you'll easily have 100% heat for your astral which you can perform with 4AB under stylish mode (remember Terumi needs to be a couple characters away for his to hit).

70702.png
Trophy-Gold.pngAttack on Gigant [進撃のハイランダー]
For this trophy you must complete Highlander Mode with every character in the game (DLC characters not included). Highlander mode is a special mode that is unlocked after you initially complete the true end in story mode. The mode is basically the last fight of story mode however you are able to fight it with any character in the cast.

Many may think this mode is too difficult or just a hopeless fight altogether when going in for the first time however once you know the ins and outs of what you need to do the mode is actually quite simple. Let's go ahead and break down some important information you'll need to know about Highlander Mode.

Damage in Highlander Mode
The first thing that will pop in one’s head when playing Highlander Mode is how much damage they're doing to the boss which at first attempt seems like too little to even bother with the mode however that is not where the bulk of your damage will be.

After a random variety of attacks Izanami will signal Gigant: Take-Mikazuchi to charge a beam, at this point many players may thing they have to back off however this is actually the only chance to get any real damage in this mode. When Gigant: Take-Mikazuchi is charging you want to attack it and deal enough damage so that he gets stunned and falls over revealing the core to its body which is where you'll be going all of your damage.

The core will only be open to attack for exactly 7 seconds so you have to make it count and deal optimal damage within that time, in most cases you want to pop overdrive with your character and burn your meter on either distortions or rapid cancelling certain moves so that you don't have to stop your assault for even a second. After it recovers it will revert back to it's attacking and you will be repeating this process.

Defense - What to look out for
This mode is basically a damage race, you either deal a lot of damage to its core or it chips you out with its beam or deals a large accumulative of damage to you overtime. Before each attack Izanami will glow a certain color and if you decided to set your voices to English she say's a particular quote for each attack.

While her attacks can get annoying at times what you really want to be wary of are her orbs and later in the fight when she goes overdrive she will have steins that surround you in a triangle shape. These orbs and steins will be your worst enemy, it's already bad enough you have to deal with other moves from Gigant: Take-Mikazuchi that fling across the screen and if it so happens to start its charge beam you have to run up to it quickly and stun it before it releases the beam, the orbs and steins can stop your assaults on Gigant: Take-Mikazuchi and make this chance go to waste and put you at a disadvantage because you'll be eating the chip damage. So follow these short tips involving the orbs and steins:
 • With Orbs you have to barrier block them otherwise you will get barrier crushed and if timed at the wrong time you could get caught in the middle of a charged beam.
 • A nice trick is to jump and normal block towards the orb and make sure you're back it facing the Gigant: Take-Mikazuchi that way it'll fling you towards it. Don't worry about the damage as it's quite minimum compared to other attacks. This is especially helpful to characters with limited mobility.
 • Steins will always move in a triangle pattern infront of you, don't try to backdash to hit the stein behind you that will create a larger gap between you and Gigant: Take-Mikazuchi which you don't want. Always leave space so that you cna hit the stein infront of you (if you're point blank to Gigant: Take-Mikazuchi it will be off screen and out of range). If you destroyed any steins already and one didn't move infront of you this cycle aim for the one above you if possible or just wait for it to cycle infront of you.
 • It will not use the Charge Beam until it has 100% heat so you can use that to control when it activates, make sure all orbs and steins are destroyed before dealing any more damage that would trigger the charged beam
For more indepth information on Highlander Mode, offensive and defensive tactics against Gigant: Take-Mikazuchi, and character specific strategies please refer to .
70703.png
Trophy-Silver.pngBoss Rush! [ボスラッシュ!]
For this trophy you must defeat 10 opponents in Unlimited Mars mode. This doesn't mean you have to complete a full course of Unlimited Mars mode you can defeat the first enemy of any course, lose and then go back and defeat that same opponent 9 more times for your trophy. Despite this easy loop hole Unlimited Mars can still be a complete pain so here is some quick pointers suing Stylish Mode Tager.

Stylish Mode Tager Controls:
This is not the full move set however it might be all you really need to know to complete mode.
 • D: Gigantic Tager Driver
 • j.D: Air Gigantic Tager Driver
 • 2D: Atomic Collider
 • 4D: Voltec Charge / Spark Bolt Forward (if charge is full)
 • 6D: Sledge Hammer (Hold to go further)
 • AB: Magna Tech Wheel
 • 6AB: Genesic Emerald Tager Buster
Now the course you want to play is Course A, with Tager it is possible to do Course C as well but Course A is actually much easier.

Course A Strategies
This section will cover short strategies against the first few opponents of Course A Unlimited Mars which consist of Noel and Jin. Against Stylish Mode Tager they're actually pretty easy so long as you look out for their attack patterns and are patient about your approach in, these methods should also work against the characters after them such as Makoto and Tsubaki (assuming you're as patient against them as you are against Noel and Jin)

vs. Noel
Noel will run wild with her drive, her unlimited form allows her to use a fenrir as if it were a normal special attack as well as the multiple gun shots from Thor. Her drive is also much faster and can go beyond the normal about of drive chains Noel could normally do. An easy tactic against Noel is to spam Sledge Hammer on her, she has very little answers for this move. After you stun her wait for her to neutral tech (listen very closely for the tech noise as well as Noels sprite to see her flash white) and quickly use Gigantic Tager Driver or Genesic Emerald Tager Buster if you have the meter for it. You can sort of recycle this until she dies, when doing though watch out for her meter as she can wake up super and push you for your attempt.

vs. Jin
Jin is strong, he'll freeze you with any of his attacks and can catch you off guard easily with his Musou Tousshugeki. In the air it counts as an overhead and on the ground it counts as a low both of which will convert into pretty big damage if you're not careful.

Against Jin patiently wait for him to use 2D, the Unlimited version of 2D will pull you closer to Jin and mash Gigantic Tager Driver and Genesic Emerald Tager Buster (if you have the meter for it). Sometimes he'll back dash punish you for your attempt however that's the risk you have to take with this one if you want to be careful. That is basically the summary of this fight, wait for 2D and block everything else.

70704.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngEffort → Victory → Friendship! [努力→勝利→友情!]
For this trophy you must spend 30 minutes in Training Mode in one session. You must be in this mode with 30 minutes of constant activity, leaving it idle will not unlock the trophy.

70705.png
Trophy-Silver.pngCombo List [コンボリスト]
For this trophy you must complete 500 challenges in Challenge Mode. Each character has 30 challenges all of which can be divided like this:
 • 1-10: Special Moves, Distortions, Astral
 • 11-19: Short Basic Combos
 • 20: Combo into Astral
 • 21-24: Intermediate Combos
 • 25: 4000 damage after Crush Trigger
 • 26-29: Advanced Combos
 • 30: x amount of hits/damage in a combo
Now there is a total of 26 characters in the game (this is including DLC characters Terumi and Kokonoe) so there is 780 challenges available for you complete towards this trophy. If you can complete every characters challenges from 1-20 that is just about enough for the trophy.

70706.png
Trophy-Silver.pngExploring the City of Ikaruga [たんけんイカルガのまち]
For this trophy you have to complete 5 dungeons within Abyss Mode. Compared to the Abyss Trophy in the previous game this is so much easier as you just have to complete 5 courses that consist of 100 depth and 200 depth dungeons.

To clear Abyss Mode in the most efficient way possible you want a character who can do a lot of damage and do a lot of hits in their combos to increase the depth faster for each run you do, a character like Noel will be perfect. If you have Yuki Terumi downloaded he would easily be recommended before her, you could even take a turbo controller and set it to C with Stylish Mode Terumi and do whatever you want while he completes each run for you.

Here is a couple quick tips for you if you're having trouble or feel about confused about what upgrades to take for Abyss mode:
 • Always grab stat upgrades unless a new item appears or you need the health.
 • Stats are permanent and carry over from run to run. They don't share character to character though.
 • Once you picked an item from a run it gets added to the shop. You don't have to hold onto the item till the end for it to be added. So if another item appears you don't have go replace it.
 • You can adjust your stats in the shop but really no point unless your speed stat is so high it's effecting combos.
 • Once you buy an item in the shop it's permanently yours. You don't have to buy it over and over like the previous games. Once you bought it it doesn't auto equip so make sure you select it again to equip.
 • The auras are actually good this time. They all give HUGE stat boosts. Pick them up if you can.
70707.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngTo Be Continued [To Be Continued]
This will unlock after viewing one chapter of any route in story mode.

70708.png
Trophy-Gold.pngAs for the sequel...[そして続編へ…]
For this trophy you need to view the True End to the Blazblue Chrono Phantasma story. In story mode you have 3 different sections to play through; Six Heros, Chrono Phantasma. and Sector Seven. Before you can proceed to the next section of each story you have to complete a certain amount of chapters in the 3 paths. Here is how each path is divided:
Six Heroes:
 • Ep 1-2
 • Ep 3-5
 • Ep 6-8
Sector Seven
 • Ep 1-3
 • Ep 4-7
 • Ep 8 -9
Chrono Phantasma
 • Ep 1-7
 • Ep 8 -13
 • Ep 14-15
 • Ep 16-18
If you have to speed through this you can switch the text speed in your options to instant and then skip all the dialouge with L1. Select every first option when you are given a choice and it will lead you straight to the true end.

This is a fast way to unlock Kagura in about an hour (more or less)

70709.png
Trophy-Gold.pngThere are some things P$ can't buy [P$で買えない価値がある]
For this trophy you must unlock 50% of the Gallery. In the Gallery there will be 4 sections such as:
 • Illustrations
 • Videos
 • Sounds
 • Items
When scrolling through each of them with R1/L1 you will see a percentage of how much of that gallery you unlocked. You don't have to unlock 50% of each one however 50% of the overall gallery.

If you plan on unlocking the other trophies in the game this will come in time as you will require quite a bit of P$ to purchase alot of the Illustrations as well as unlock a lot of illustrations from Story Mode, bonus images from Abyss etc, Sounds and Items. When buying Illustrations aim for the cheaper ones first that are 500 and 1000 P$ opposed to the 5000 ones.

70710.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngPlease Watch Your Videos in a Brightly Lit Room [動画を見るときは部屋を明るくして離れて見てね]
For this trophy you must view one replay in the Replay Theater. You can obtain a replay through the online leaderboards through a player who has a replay attached to their D-Code or you can save your own replay after playing any online match. After viewing the replay from start to finish your trophy will unlock.

70711.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngGirl Power Up ☆ [女子力アップ☆]
For this trophy you must simply make a change to your D-Code and confirm the change (the second option from the bottom). You can change your D-Code in the Network menu, last option on the list.

70712.png
Trophy-Silver.pngYou’re doing well! I’ll compliment you! [上出来だ!褒めてやろう!]
For this trophy you must increase in class which is only possible through online ranked. When starting ranked you start at Kyu Class and from there up until Dan you can only go up in class, once you reach 1st Dan you will unlock this trophy. Now from the beginning you can only go up so whether you win or lose you'll always rank up when given the Rank Up indicator however keep in mind that the more matches you win the faster you'll level up as well.

A common issue most players are having is simply finding a match, when selecting Search for results after the first search it doesn't display results for you. An easy way around this is to turn on the option below it in the menu which is called "Entry Mode", this allows players online to challenge you as if you were a constant select in the search while you go play various offline modes for other trophies.

70713.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngThis seems like the ultimate feeding ground! [ここは最高の餌場ではないか!]
For this trophy you must win your first player match. This will come almost immediately for anyone who plays the game, if you're one who can't seem to win a game you can request someone to throw a match for your trophy.

70714.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngThe best stage on which the best soldiers are gathered [最高の強者が集まる最高の舞台]
For this trophy you must play 3 matches in any lobby. By lobby it is referring to the large arcade lobbies you can walk within and challenge players on the arcade like setups. So long as you complete 3 full matches whether you win or lose the trophy will unlock.

70715.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngLet’s end this! [終わらせますよ!]
For this trophy you must activate Overdrive for the first time. To activate Overdrive you need to have a full Burst Gauge and press :abt:+ :bbt:+ :cbt:+ :dbt:. You can activate it while standing or at anytime during a combo from anything you could special cancel from.

70716.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngReleasing Armagus! [法陣展開!]
For this trophy you must finish a round with an Overdrive finish (you can view more details about Overdrive above). To do an overdrive finish you must finish off the opponent with a characters distortion while in overdrive, the easiest way to do this is to simply lower your opponents health to a couple pixels use overdrive and use the distortion to finish the round.

70717.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngFirst, I’ll break through that guard of yours! [まずはそのガードをぶち壊す!]
For this trophy you must use Crush Trigger 100 times. Every character can use Crush Trigger by inputing :abt:+ :bbt: at the cost of 25 meter. After performing it 100 times the trophy should unlock. An easy quick way to grind this out if you're in a hurry is to select options and wait for his gauge to automatically fill up and continuously use Crush Trigger. If you have Unlimited Hakumen that would be recommended as well.

If you have additional controller with a turbo function you can map B+C to one of your face buttons and set it on turbo with an object on top of it. Go into match options and set it with unlimited time and 5 rounds to win (incase you mess up teching any grabs) and run up to the dummy opponent and continuously tech the grabs for the trophy.

For this trophy you must perform the astral to every character in the cast. To perform an astral you must be on your game winning round with 100% heat and have your opponent below 20% health. You can view the input to each characters astral in the move list at the very bottom (or through stylish mode you can press 4LN (4AB). Keep in mind that Hakumen and Noel's astrals are counters and require the opponent to attack them to trigger it.

An easy way to get this done is to do it along with every character specific trophy (this makes for a good way to keep track of the astrals you performed as well).

70732.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngDodonmushi Resurrection [怒首領蟲 大復活]

For this trophy you must do a 100 hit combo with Arakune. A quick easy way to do this is to get yourself damaged first so that you can use Overdrive a bit longer (75% health should be good). Once you're in overdrive make sure you have 100 meter, stand next your opponent (preferably Iron Tager) and do 236236Cx2. If you decide to use Stylish mode you can do LNHS(3) > LNx2 (ABCD > ABx2).

70733.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngStrike the nail with your hammer! [お前の鉄槌に釘を打て!]

For this trophy you must finish a round using the overdrive version of Shishigami-style Secret Technique: "Hurricane Fury" (236236D) with Bang. 70735.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngOh, it’s just Hakumen [なんだ、ただのハクメンか]

To make this trophy easier you can abuse Negative Penalty or Dange State (when their barrier depletes) on the opposing character do that you do more damage. Here is a simple combo you can perform while in the corner with a character in Danger state:

OD 6C (max charge) > 5C > 41236C (1 hit) > Crush Trigger > 5C > 632146C > 214A > A

If you have Unlimited Hakumen unlocked you could also go the following combo with Negative Penalty in corner: OD > 632146C (max) > 41236C > 5C

70736.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngThe Sword Summoner Countdown [ソードサマナーの数を数えろ]

For this trophy you must use all Sword Summoner attacks in a single combo with Nu which is basically all of her D normals. An easy combo for this would be the following (requires 50 Heat):

5DD > 4DD > 236D > RC > 5D > 6DD > 2DD > j.DD > j.2DD.

214214D, [4]6D > 236D > 623D > j.236D > j.214D > 214D > 22D > 236236D

70738.png
Trophy-Bronze.pngThis man, is a snake who devours people’s souls! [この男、人を騙し喰らう蛇]

For this trophy you must finish a round using the overdrive version of Orochi Burensou (214D~632146D) with Hazama. Pretty straight forward, weaken your opponent to a couple pixels of health use overdrive and finish him off with the distortion for your trophy. Under stylish mode controls you can input OD > 2S > 5LN.

To increase the Zero Weave gauge you must special moves such as Sonic Sabre (236A) or Air Sonic Sabre (j.236A) each giving you 2 charges on hit and 1 on block. Once you have stocked up on charges you can switch to Gain Art with 5D or jD and use Gain Art versions of some of Izayoi's special moves or special moves specific to Gain Art with stock. Here is a list of moves you can use to waste stock:
 • Sonic Sabre (236D)
 • Air Sonic Sabre (j.236D)

For this trophy you must use all of Terumi's Distortion Drives in a single match. Terumi has a lot of distortion drives compared to other characters in the cast all of which cost 50% each (one costing 100%). Here are the distortions as follow:
 • Jakyou Messenga (41236C air OK)

 • Orochi Burensen (63214B)
 • Ouja Zanrouga (236236A)

You can do this with a second controller or a friend online or against a beginner level CPU and abuse the 100% meter from taunting. It would be advised to do this under best out of 5 round settings to give yourself more time and life to complete trophy.

30: x amount of hits in a combo

Some characters have to deal a certain amount of damage instead (Bullet's challenge is to deal 10000 damage).

Jet-Black Susanoo [漆黒のスサノオ]

For this trophy you must clear arcade mode with Kagura.

Gotta fix that, too.

Some characters have to deal a certain amount of damage instead

Now that we are on the subject... there are also challenges where you have to use a certain move certain amount of times in a combo. Everyone's 30th challenges:

Ragna: Steal 5000 health with Drive attacks

Jin: Use all Drive attacks in a combo

Noel: 100 hit combo

Rachel: Use "Tiny Lobelia" 9 times in a combo

Taokaka: 200 hit combo

Litchi: Use "Four Winds" 3 times in a combo

Tager: Use "Spark Bolt" 3 times in a combo

Arakune: 200 hits

Bang: Deal 6500 damage in a combo

Carl: Use "Cantabile" 5 times in a combo

Hakumen: Defeat Azrael (Deal 12 000 damage)

Nu: Deal 9000 damage in a combo

Hazama: Keep enemy airborne for 10 seconds

Tsubaki: Use 12 blocks of the Install gauge in a combo

Mu: Defeat Azrael (Deal 12 000 damage)

Makoto: Use "Spacial Counter" to start a combo and deal 8000 damage

Valkenhayn: Deal 8000 damage in a combo

Platinum: Deal 7500 damage in a combo

Relius: Use "Geara Lugia" 8 times in a combo

Amane: 180 hits

Bullet: Deal 10 000 damage in a combo

Azrael: Use all his Drive moves in a combo

Izayoi: Use all her special attacks in combo

Kagura: Deal 7000 damage in a combo

Terumi: Deal 7000 damage in a combo

Kokonoe: Deal 7000 damage in a combo

----

Also... some stuff. Personally tested and trophies gained.

Ragna's trophy: Hit opponent who has Danger with a combo of j.A>5A>5A

Carl's trophy: Cantabile (623C) > 8D > 2C > Fermata (214214D)

Hakumen's trophy: OD 6C (max charge) > 5C > Zantetsu (41236C) > Cancel to Crush Trigger after the first hit > 5C > Shippuu (632146C) > Renka (214B)

Arakune's trophy: Just go Overdrive and use 2 powered-up version of "f-inverse" in corner of screen

Nu's trophy: 5DD>4DD>Sickle Storm (236D) >RC>6DD>2DD>j.DD>j.2DD

Tsubaki's trophy: 214214D>46D>236D>623D>j.236D>j.214>214D>22D>236236D

Also,

the explanation for arcade mode trophy is mistaken. Arcade mode has now only 8 stages. It's also suggested to play arcade as Kagura/Terumi to grab two trophies at once.

I'm unsure how acceptable it is to self-promote on other sites, but I wrote a Highlander Guide on PS3Trophies, viewable here http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/blazblue-chrono-phantasma/214780-highlander-mode-help-thread.html . It's not perfect and needs heavy editing/proof-reading/Touch-uping (I'm garbage at combo notation, also Nu-12), and is missing a few characters, but if anyone's struggling glance over it.

Also I can't believe I wrote a fucking 5 page FAQ about a stupid trophy.

I'd be happy for braindead easy combos for the Hakumen, Nu and Tsubaki trophies, and maybe a strategy for the unlimited mars.

Also I have no idea what the "You’re doing well! I’ll compliment you!" condition is.

It could be similar to the previous Extend trophy for getting your PSR up to 200.

Like, "Achieve 5th Dan" or "Win X amount of ranked matches".

Nu's trophy: 5DD>4DD>236D>RC>6DD>2DD>j.DD>j.2DD

Was my idea really too difficult? I mean... Sickle Storm is the only filler attack in the combo... Other moves are all attacks that are required for the trophy.

I've also been wondering about Unlimited Mars since the trophy description just says "Defeat 10 opponents". Do I really have to clear one course or does the game count all my tries and opponents I've defeated during them?

Its reaching the next class, going from Kyu to Dan. It's easy you don't even have to really win matches. I updated the guide with that.

Yeah, just got the trophy. Total number of the opponents defeated in Unlimited Mars is gives the trophy, no need to clear a complete course.

For Hakumen:

OD > 6C(max charge) > 632146C(almost max charge) > 41236C > 2C > 632146C > 41236C

Opponent needs to be at danger state, but the combo should be pretty easy.

Got my platinum recently, just want to share some tips

For score attack, you need to aim for perfect bonus (5m each round) and straight win bonus 10m), if you manage to get a double perfect you will also get 10m no damage bonus, netti g you 30m each stage for double perfect

Easiest way for me is to spam nu 5dd sickle from far on course A (weakest AI), should be easy enough to get double perfect on the first 4-5 stage

And thanks for the character specific trophy guide, it saved me a lot of times ;)

I'm not getting the Tsubaki trophy, even though it's all red-beat and i'm using Setsuna's combo. I think it might be that i'm going through the ball too fast?

Are you giving enough space? If you are too close then the ball hits and doesn't combo into 236D.

I have plenty of space, I was just launching the ball then immediately going for the dash.

EDIT: I just got the trophy. 236236D is NOT required, I got it without it.

Yea that's correct. You want it to connect so the 236D becomes multi hit.

The issue is, I wasn't letting the ball hit. It still becomes multi-hit if you make it to the ball with the dash. I was meeting the ball before it hit, still getting the multi-hit. It worked after I let the ball hit then dashed. I killed Tager with 22D, so I never got to 236236D, but I still got the trophy.

Noticed it after a sparring session with my brother: P2 can't earn any trophies at all. He used Overdrive, yet didn't get the OD trophy; he ended a round with OD Orochi, but didn't get a trophy for that, either. Keep that in mind if you decide to earn trophies for two characters in a single match.

That's always been the case with previous games but I'll add that note for anyone who didn't know
