7/23 update

  • Dreadnought Gundam public release
  • 7/11~8/10: Conquest Season 5 rewards and suits will be set
  • 7/13~8/6: open play campaign suits: Kamille Mk II, Luna Impulse, Victory Hexa
  • Midsummer festival - the following suits will be released: Altron (7/29), Strike Rouge Ootori (8/5), Char's Counterattack Re-Gz (8/11), Banshee Norn (8/19)
  • The following suits will be adjusted: Acguy, Katejina (I can never remember how to spell that suit's crazy name), WZC, Heavyarms, Freedom, IJ, IJ (Lacus), Exia, Unicorn, GP01, GP03, Gouf, Stargazer, Extreme Leos Type II

Doesn't provide any info on how long the summer festival and its suits last :/

We'll be getting EXVSFB DLC as well.

 

Yeah, Gundam VS tweeted (no source though) that it would be those summer festival suits plus "Gundam" X (X Astray/Dreadnought?) and "Gold Frame (mina)". But...there hasn't been anything shown about a different Gold Frame? I wonder if that was meant to be Blitz?

 

Edit: No, Gundam X is After War Gundam X with Garrod and GF Mina is just a new GF

i wonder why they didnt have cagali in Akatsuki Gundam? And still no sandrock! but namco will be releasing new suits all the way up to next year right?

-Elle Mk-II bugfixes
 
Extreme Gundam Type Leos II Valiant Surface (Normal Mode)
•  Red lock range increased 
•  [csA] Valiant Rifle (Divine Blaster) bullet speed and guidance improved.
•  [AB] All-range funnels "Agios" startup time to appear around your unit reduced.
•  [bC] activation characteristics:
  • Is now harder to stagger by enemy units while you're activating.
  • Gives invincibility to enemy fire for a short period.
 
• [bC] shockwave:
  •  Lowered damage on hit (80 -> 0)
  •  Made it harder to down enemies hit with the shockwave.
  •  Changed damage at time of followup to allow easier combo extension.
  •  Shockwave is unblockable.
 
• [bC] Increased active time by 3 seconds.

•  2b melee damage improved (1HIT 80→85)

-The camera now stays further away from him.
-[AB] reload time reduced by 1 second.
-[AC]:
  • Beam damage down (1HIT15→14)
  • Plasma convergence beam damage up (1HIT20→21)
  • Xiphias rail gun damage down (1HIT25→24)
  • Reload time reduced by 1sec.
 
•  [bC] ammo up from 1 to 2 and reload increased by 4 seconds.
•  [bC] -> B combo routes now have a cancel route into BC.
•  If 2b is used in overheat your unit will now jump into the air.

 

Infinite Justice (Athrun)
•     MA Mode [A]: → Sub cancel route added
•     Sub: Damage (1hit) 25→100. Attack changed from 6hit→1hit. Proration rasied. Fatum-01’s travel speed increased.
•     [AC]: Damage (1hit) 9→10
•     [bC]: →AC cancel route added
•     8B (Fatum-01 equipped): startup speed increased. On hit, enemy float condition modified to be easier to followup attack.
•     Melee~BC derivation: Damage 159→173
 
GP03S
•     Red lock range increased
•     [A]: Ammo 10→12
•     [AC]: Startup hastened
•     [bC]: Can followup cancel into all melee now
 
Exia
•     [A]: BR string consistency/accuracy inceased
•     Sub: →BR cancel route added
•     [AC]: reload time -1.5s
•     4/6B: followup performance increased
 
Gundam GP01 Zephyranthes
•     [AC] (→Fb transform): reload time +2s
Full Vernien
•     If you are shot down in Fb mode, you will redeploy in Fb mode now
•     Mobility decreased
•     CSb: On hit, the enemy float status has been modified to be easier to followup attack now.
•     5B: Damage 174→189
•     2B: Damage 112→148
•     BD Melee: Damage 86→105. On hit enemy float status has been modified to be easier to followup.
 
Stargazer
Both Modes
•     [A]: ammo 6→8
•     [AC]: Now carries over momentum you have before using the attack.
Normal Mode
•     Mobility increased
•     Red lock range increased
•     [bC]: Reload time -5s
•     5B: If you hold down B, the rate at which you build up energy for the attack has been adjusted. Energy ring expansion speed increased. Attack now carries any momentum you have before using the attack.
Voiture Lumiere Mode
•     Red lock range increased
•     [bC]: Following first stage hit, enemy float condition modified to be easier to followup.
 
Acguy
•     Red lock range increased
•     [A]: Damage (1hit) 8→9, total damage 102→114. Now easier to stagger enemies.
•     Sub (6-barrel rocket launcher):  Bullet speed increased. Down value increased. On hit, enemy float condition modified to be easier to followup.
•     [bC]: Agg as well as Agguguy’s HP have been changed.
•     5B: First stage damage 35→40.
•     4/6B: First stage damage 35→40.
•     2B: Damage (1hit) 80→90
 
Gouf Custom
•     [A] (75mm): Ammo 75→90. →2B cancel route added.
•     [A] (3x 35mm): →2B cancel route added.
•     Sub: Startup speed increased. No longer has an ammo count.
•     [AC]: The stiffness prior to the movement startup has been decreased.
•     [bC]: The stiffness prior to the movement startup has been decreased.
 
Infinite Justice (Lacus)
•     Sub: Damage (1hit) 25→90. The attack has been changed from 6hit→1hit. Proration on followup damage increased.
•     [AC]: Damage (1hit) 8→9.
•     8B (Fatum-01 equipped): Startup speed increased. On hit, enemy float condition modified to be easier to followup attack.
 
Bug Fixes
Elle’s Mk II
•     When [A] is out of ammo and A is pressed while S-Drive is available but S-Drive does not activate (fixed).
•     During F-Drive when certain movements are done [AC] and [bC] ammo are not consumed (fixed).

Bamco didn't pull any punches buffing the Wing units. Heavyarms is going to be a terror....

 

meanwhile the sandrock gets neglected  :v:. looking forward to Altron, hope he's a beast.

to be fair Sandrock would most likely just be a bland melee suit. melee and vulcans maybe his lackeys as an assist.

 

I cant see how he'd be interesting. least altron has some cool tools for them to work with.

I think a big question is whether they went with TV Sandrock or EW Sandrock.

 

TV Sandrock has a beam MG (although it uses it only a couple of times), so...a MG-based melee suit. None of the pure melee suits in the game carry an MG, and all of the suits that carry MG aren't really melee-focused, right? NT-D Unicorn is the only thing I can think of off the top of my head that would paint a likely picture. Gerbera carries a beam MG and BD1 a MG, but both have really underwhelming melee options (until BD1 gets EXAM). And yeah, probably lacky assists like you said.

 

EW Sandrock never uses the MG. But it has that ABC mantle that TV Sandrock doesn't have (that cloth thing it had was just for camouflage right?? It wasn't actually anti-beam was it??), setting it up to play like X1 Kai.

 

 

Not to say that I feel either adds a truly unique or interesting gameplay experience ether...I think if I were going to pick one I think I'd rather have TV Sandrock than what from a distance looks like an X1 clone with just vulcan cannons ><

It seems Altron can boomerang it's beam trident ala Gel/Gatogoog or give it the ole 00 Raiser 2b toss (and return). The Gelgoog player inside me weeps. If I'm seeing right and it can step it's dragon fang/grab, then the Dragon inside me weeps too...

I'm guessing it's a 2.5k judging by the damage on its BR and overall, its boost efficiency/movement, and its health (though CPU's may have different HP? Not sure since it's been awhile...)

I imagine if they do a version of Sandrock it will be either EW Sandrock or Sandrock Armadillo, because he actually does stuff in Glory of Losers so there's material for them to work with. Plus the potential to promote the manga etc.

 

I finished watching Wing a bit ago and I swear Sandrock shows up in like 3 episodes total and all Quatre does is bonk things with the heat scimitars so I feel like there's not a whole lot for them to work with to make him interesting.

I'm not sure about every suit, but it's noticeable among larger suits at the very least. Kshatriya and Zeong come to mind, though I think it's further back for Ex-S and  few others as well. I can imagine they moved it back for Freedom since its wings take up such a wide portion of the screen.

I can definitely see Sandrock having some kind of armor moves see as it has been stated that it has the most armor out of the 5 original gundam sin the series. But again it depends on how much of the source material they use. 

 

Altron looks pretty cool though. Can't wait to see the official trailer.

Leaks from magazine

Altron (500 Y), Gundam X (400 Y) and Gold Frame Amatsu Mina (400 Y) will be available as FB DLCs on 8/6.

Re-GZ(500 Y), Strike Rouge Ootori (500 Y) and Banshee Norn (500 Y) will be available as FB DLCs on 8/27.

It also confirmed cost for 4 of them : Altron is 2500, Re-GZ is 1500/1000, Strike Rouge Ootori is 2000 and Banshee Norn is 3000.
