If you are unsure on how to write combos properly, then read the wiki page here. Make sure to read the Notation Used section in this post so that you understand the specific notations used for Yosuke. Also refrain from using move names and abbreviations.

Notes

About air special input options:
In P4U2 Yosuke is now allowed to preform 2 air specials with the inputs 6 or 4 A/B (Moonsault) and 6 or 4 C/D (V Slash). These inputs can only be used when they can be cancelled into.

 

Example: 6A~B is Air 236A~B or A Moonsault into B Crescent Slash.

Isn't this a corner only combo? I can't seem to link 236B into 6C without the corner.

 

EDIT: Oh, I got what was screwing me up. I needed to press 4C instead of 6C.

You gotta be REALLY close to the opponent.  You can pretty much Omit 5B or 5AA, depending on what you want and you will still get the combo fine.

Is there anything you can do for more damage off of Sukukaja's auto combo? I can't figure anything out other than to roll with the autocombo if you land a 5a.

 

You can still cancel mirage slash into run or end any normal combos in the kunai super for more damage than autocombo though...

EDIT: Oh, I got what was screwing me up. I needed to press 4C instead of 6C.

 Also, I fixed that, I wasn't sure how to handle side switches in notations!

you can cancel the downward slash into an air special just before you hit the ground

you can either go into moonsaults or do j.2C > 214214D depending on how much time is left on the gauge

Yeah, you can do after the downward slash, but input it a bit earlier or else he will do 236B on the ground. But the command is 5AAAA > j.236B~B > j.6D > j.6B~B >214214C/D/SB. A silly way to finish off someone is to OMB after hitting them with a Garudyne and then Sukukaja super them away as they are falling. Pretty sure everyone knows this though.

I've found an easier Sukukaja combo than the ones listed... does a bit less damage, but I'm having way too much trouble landing all of those 5A's than it's worth.

 

5AAAAA > j.2C > 236B > j.214C > 214214D [2976 DMG]

 

C version of the super is easier to hit generally but will obviously do less damage. The D version can be tricky to time as if you do it too early you'll end up getting Garudyne.

 

Edit: After experimenting a bit more, if you just cancel V slasher into the super rather than trying to time it after it hits, the timing may be even easier. It's kind of wonky though...

really the only the only thing to add is a 2B after the j.2C FC, and that only gets you another 25 damage

They are still in the game.  Throw OMC tent, and AoA OMC tent work as unblockable setups.  Shadow Yosuke does it all the time

Okay because I'm locked in training mode with it and wasn't sure if it was human proof. And for the other one? I'll do Shadow Combos with a million j.2Cs and dash springs and V Slashes but they don't scale well damage wise, and Tentarafoo always messes it up. I kept trying to use it to catch the enemy on a dash spring VB Slash j2C loop, but realized it basically ended the combo due to proration. I do a lot better with theories and intuitive understanding of the components of a combo rather than notation, so could it be explained how to get to those 6Ks rather than my chump damage I'm putting out?

There's no need for the j.236B~A, it can be done with j.236AA for the same damage and 46SP.

 

And with  j.2D FC, 236B > j.214D > j.2C > 2A > 2C > j.B > j.AB > j.236A~A > j214B~B >

j.236D > j.2C: 5093 Dmg/ 48 SP

In the corner combo "AB [AoA] > D Finisher [FC] > 236B > j2C > 2A > 2C > dl5C > 5AAA > 6C > 236236C [4426 DMG]" What is dl5C? I don't see it in the notations so maybe it's just a typo.

 

EDIT: Ok so dl5C is Delay 5C, but that isn't posted in any of the notations.
