No, it's just a word. The phrase was "mazu ha...", which is something like "to start with/first off". I didn't hear a name for the Rachel player during that match, unfortunately.

Ok. So discussions were had and just trialling an idea based on SKDs Izayoi thread suggestion of analysing particular matches.
 
General idea is to pick a link you think is worth discussing and then...
 
Going on to discuss what you think, like, point out particular situations. How the match went. Kind of like a commentary but in written form and what's going through your mind I guess you could say. Anyone and everyone is welcome to try it. Stir up some discussion, get some feedback. EDIT 2:

- Ok, adding matches are harder if you're working with Source so it's best to use the "Link" Option in the Post Tool Bar which is straight forward to make your link from. 1st box you add the link, the 2nd box you add the text to represent that link for example "RC (N-O) Vs JN (Tetsuwo)".

- Backing up links have become a little more difficult though, I'm backing everything up in a notepad file as I go along. If you wish to share links please feel free to do so, I can still back things up

What did I tell you about apologizing so much when you are already doing an amazing job?! Don't worry about it taking this much time. It's a lot of work to fix and more importantly, it's unclear if threads like this will still exist in character forums after the revamp. I wouldn't want you to put so much work into fixing the thread only for it to get axed.

Though, it's worth noting that the creator of the keeponrockin site for Guilty Gear has a similar beta video database site for BB up right now. I think regular users can even add to the database so long as they have an account. We might naturally transition over to there for posting and finding Rachel vids.

Every post in this thread other than the main match ups post I've been working has had all links repaired. So all videos are accessible without the use of the main match ups post.

I still don't know when things will be fixed, it's going to take a very long time to repair that main match ups post as it needs to be done by hand.

Use the PasteBin link for everything compiled in order up to the point before the forum update in the meantime. At this point I doubt we'll get much now as CF is round the corner. I've tried to keep up to date to the best of my ability through CPEX but it's been a bad year and forum set backs didn't help. Apologies for the trouble caused.

CPEX in the arcade is coming to an end so I feel it's time to gauge feedback for what you guys would like to see in CF regarding a fresh thread in the works and/or how you would like the thread to be run. I already have a thread for CF prepared and willing to make changes if needed  

Please feel free to explain your thoughts, views, opinions. Anything you feel could improve threads like these.

 

I have some suggestions I would like to share with you that you may or may not like. Here is what I am thinking going into the CF Thread:

- The Thread itself is going to be renamed " Rachel Video and Analysis"
Here not only do we post JP Match Videos as usual but we want everyone to take part in Analysing and discussing videos more. Break it down and explain what you felt the Rachel player did well or not so well at, what options you feel or notice could of been available to them at such a time and basically break it down even to how they conserve wind or use heat for particular things. Anyone can do it and people can then discuss more around various videos.

The idea is mind is to learn through discussion how we watch and break down information we gain from these videos and how to we can then use that information to strengthen our own Rachel game

- When I add all the links people have contributed or found wherever it may be. The Main Match Ups post will have matches laid out like my last post so if we do get another forum problem the links can still be used and salvaged by anyone:

Update on my progress repairing this thread since the forum update ruined everything. I have repaired all the links in the main match ups post. They layout it will be odd but the important part is that all links are listed by character, date and have player names on.

All I need to do is add the stuff in between the forum disaster and now and everything will be present for CPEX Rachel. I'll tidy it up the odd pieces after I've sorted through that. My apologies this has taken so long.

Update on the above mentioned matter:

- Everything for video links is up to date. Luckily with the strange way I think this forum works now, you can find the recent links that I have added into the main match ups post in Blue. While Red coloured links are what were part of the repair process.

- Next step when I get round to it. All I need to do is tidy things up and make it a bit more presentable. Other than that, everything is finally UP TO DATE!

Found a Rachel combo that does nearly 7000 damage in the corner off a hit confirm, requires 4 winds and a wall stick to achieve though.
