kid viper Report post Posted August 3, 2009 same glitch happened to me yesterday. i had airgrabbed a ragna and delayed a D ice ride which was right at his head. it completely whiffed :O
ryokoalways Report post Posted August 3, 2009 It's not a glitch, it's just hitbox being weird like sol's. You cannot IAD jb jc after something like 6d. Likewise, if you are too high, anything you throw out simply wiff. This only applies when he is frozen though because that's when he kind of keels over. kid viper Report post Posted August 3, 2009 like i said, i was right on ragna's head when i did the ice ride. it didn't even cross up, he just looked like a retard while he was ridin his ice on ragna's face x_x

PozerWolf Report post Posted August 3, 2009 BlazBlue is full of glitches. We need to patch it up, and name the patch "Guilty Gear X3".
Here. There Report post Posted August 5, 2009 so recently someone on another forum suggested this (in or near the corner): 623D>66>6C>6D>632146D>623B>623A this will do 6600 damage, but you need to land the first dp near the corner for it to work (and have the meter). it's much easier however to land it off a special cancelable move (6A, 5B, etc) or a freeze. the problem being that this causes the damage to prorate down to around 4500. however supposedly 623D can reset the proration so that it's as if you had simply started with it. is that possible? edit: supposedly it has a very small window of opportunity to land it right
Darcius Report post Posted August 5, 2009 Its a 75% meter corner combo that you need to score a hit with the slowest hitting move in Jin's arsenal to land. Ofcourse it does 6600. Its retardedly impractical though.
Here. There Report post Posted August 5, 2009 62% meter since you gain enough to land the super during the combo and what do you mean his slowest hitting move? i'm pretty sure 6D is slower than 623D or a freeze poke edit: you also didn't answer my question, because if it's possible to reset it then it's not very impractical at all
Darcius Report post Posted August 5, 2009 The fact that the combo helps accumulate meter is a moot point, all combos do. Including meterless ones. You said you don't want to do anything before 623d(2) because it will cause a scaling issue. And it will. What the "reset" thing the person is talking about is where you may set up a situation in which the opponent is landing or escaping freeze where 623d(2) will hit as an unblockable and the "first" hit of the combo, given it's full charge time. However, as I said above, this is impractical to try to set up because you have better, more reliable options (like doing a normal corner bnb) and if people do not recover as you expect or fail to shake out of ice, you just wasted the 25% meter and threw away a chance at a perfectly fine meaty 5b. shtkn Report post Posted August 5, 2009 i can see some uses for it... if you're trying to burst bait with 623D, or if you guard crush with teh first hit of 623D... but in whatever case, they're pretty situational, and most certainly not Bread and Butter material. i also recall being able to do similar damage without the use of hte super, though i can't confirm this... Darcius Report post Posted August 5, 2009 Just tried to confirm that for you shtkn. 623d(2)-66-6c-6d-6c-6d-5c-Aerial comes pretty damn close to the super variant's damage. 5c timing feels pretty tight though.
Here. There Report post Posted August 6, 2009 well shit, i got 6200 damage off that combo i guess the one with the super is pointless then, and that's even if you can reset it
Skye Report post Posted August 6, 2009 6C to 2D is pretty lulzy, but I can't find a single thing that sets up into a 6C, except if the opponent is already frozen, in which in that case, 2D won't freeze. In addition, 6C to Moonsong (632146-D) works, even on a prior frozen victim.
shtkn Report post Posted August 6, 2009 5C > 6C > 2D works on crouches sekkajin > 6C > 2D also works too i think mostly, when you do ground combos, just look to see if the enemy is crouching, and then do 5C > 6C > whatever.
Skye Report post Posted August 6, 2009 Mindgames. I need to do more low moves, I was all in "wtf mode" when I learned that 2a is a medium attack.
lxMetalSonicxl Report post Posted August 10, 2009 "623d(2)-66-6c-6d-6c-6d-5c-Aerial" I think I just can't get down that dash to 6c at the start. Do you have to be really fast, or is there a specific timing to 623d, or are you supposed to wait during the 623d? Other than that, this combo is pretty useful online, though I do think a simple 2b-5c-623b-5c-6c-6d-66-6d-5b-5c,3c is a lot more useful in comparison. ehwhoknows Report post Posted August 14, 2009 I'm having trouble landing a couple of combos, wondering if you guys had any tips on the timing or if I'm missing something. Corner Forward Throw (2 hits), 623 B, 5C, 6C, 6D, 5C, j.b, j.c, j.d, ice car b I'm having trouble consistently landing the 6D after the 5C, 6C. I vary the timing but the computer almost always seems to tech out of it before the 6D can land. On the rare occasion I can land the first part, when I try to do 5C, standard combo, as soon as I go for the j.b the computer blocks it. Any ideas? 6C, sj.C, sj.D, air dash, j.b, j.c, ice car b Also, I'm having trouble landing the air dash after sj.C, sj.D. I just can't get the timing on this, I wait too long and it becomes invalid, I go too early the dash doesn't come out. Does the opponent need to be at a certain height relative to where Jin is for this to work properly? Thanks in advance.
Moogster Report post Posted August 14, 2009 I'm having a problem with this combo crouching only 5B, 5C, 6C, 2D, Frozen, 6C, 66 (dash cancel), 5C, Super Jump, j.B, j.C, JC, j.C ---- does an Ice car B connect here? What I remember yesterday was I can connect an Ice Car B here (I dunno I'm not sure anymore). But trying to do this again to day it wouldn't work anymore. The enemy can tech after the j.C
Darkhonor90 Report post Posted August 14, 2009 I'm having a problem with this combo crouching only 5B, 5C, 6C, 2D, Frozen, 6C, 66 (dash cancel), 5C, Super Jump, j.B, j.C, JC, j.C ---- does an Ice car B connect here? What I remember yesterday was I can connect an Ice Car B here (I dunno I'm not sure anymore). But trying to do this again to day it wouldn't work anymore. The enemy can tech after the j.C If the combo meter goes beyond 13 then you can't do Ice car
Moogster Report post Posted August 14, 2009 That's 10 before Ice Car. If I don't put in the 5B the it works, but I really got a feeling that I was able to do it. Edit: Even doing: Crouching only 5C, 6C, 2D, Frozen, 6C, 66 (dash cancel), 5C, Super Jump, j.B, j.C, JC, j.C to Ice Car B doesn't work.
Skye Report post Posted August 14, 2009 6D is super laggy, and the computer will tech out on higher difficulties. It might work on human players however. Try 5D instead.
