Many VERY different playstyles (of course with a new character), it's fun to see the different directions everyone is taking it. I don't REALLY love how JT plays him, gaku was much more fun. I'd like to see more recent videos of him before comparing the two. It's possible that changes + having access to Sin in arcade may have pointed out some holes in his gameplan that Gaku may not have been aware of before. Robawtninja Report post Posted April 4, 2015 IMO, Gaku is the more consistent Sin. He plays him in a safe and pressurized manner and utilizes VD very efficiently, not to mention his confirmations are top notch. JT plays Sin in an extremely aggressive manner and many times will continue to go in on no food. JT has been getting increasingly better with Sin but doesn't change the fact that he's still really aggressive and at times reckless. I would say Gaku is better with Sin but because there's only been footage of JT playing recently I can't say who's really better. The Sin you're talking about is Atashinchi. KentoHardRok Report post Posted April 17, 2015 yup, using RTL to hit him out of the stance once he starts throwing his chains out there is smart, but the invincibility is on startup so I guess its best to do it right after he throws one out so the second catches invincibility frame. Most of those combos are known and almost every one of them still work in 1.1, I guess it's good as a visual cue. Also, interesting burst safe variations of combos (discard the YRC OS one as it is not possible anymore in 1.1), and mixup possibilities out of midscreen Voltic Dein (some of them are here just for show and some others are valid options). All in all, some very good stuff with a few useless things, but definitely worth a watch for any Sin player looking to step up his combo/oki game !
