[CT] Haku-men Videos & Discussion

Recommended Posts

tru dat^. i always try to rush nu. she kinda reminds me of people in sf who spam fire balls, always leaving openings to be attacked. needless to say i havent fought any really good nu's yet. everyone online is "Noel Ragnajin"

I got some more videos on my Youtube "channel" thing:

http://www.youtube.com/user/Sepheriel

These are all new videos and I hope they show that I've gotten better even thought I still make a good bit of mistakes. Let me know what you think either on here or comment on the videos themselves. Thanks.

*EDIT* Does anyone know how to get more people to see these videos? I did a search for BlazBlue Hakumen videos and mine were pretty far from the first page.

huh? I said both side looked messy. Nevermind the haku player still tried to use zantetsu as an overhead, I'm more commenting on the fact that there was a bunch of dropped/black combos, not to mention a shit load of missed hit confirms on both sides. You thought I was trying to defend the haku player? What gave you that idea?

i didn't say you were defending him, but those are two things that lag has nothing to do with.

Really patient Hakumen play, very enjoyable to watch. Most IADs were saved for situations where V was in the process of backdashing too.

Only a few small technical mistakes in terms of missed combo potential and that sort of thing, and still only things that could really be spotted outside the heat of a grand finals match. Great stuff Jack

I think that came down to one guy knowing his character, and the other guy not knowing it. The completely non-threatening pressure strings when he does lock haku down basically translates into extra meter for haku to beat your face in with. The other problem is the nu was not being aggressive with 2c and ground spike. Nu outranges haku and also can stick out shit faster. The difference in experience is too large in my opinion. it's simply a case of one guy is better than the other by a fair margin.

Bump for fun, unless bumps aren't allowed.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLihwTbGTiA <- props to Mike Z and 10starz

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75sS8F66idI <- this one took me a bit to figure out what i was seeing, but it's really funny.

These videos both demonstrate how hakumen is really good at punishing supers due to his ability to whip out his D-counter or Yukikaze during super freeze. Also he can cancel a lot of things into yukikaze during super freeze, which makes him able to bait supers and punish them. discuss amongst yourselves.

I've been buffering 6C to cancel Noel supers, but I hadn't thought of applying it to other situations. Good stuff.
