So Xrd has been out for a little under a month now, and it seems like a lot of new people are interested in Guilty Gear because of it, which is awesome! I’ve recently started to hear more and more that new players are having trouble with a few key things, so to help with that, I’ve decided to write about a very important topic: Throws!
Arc System Works is releasing Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma Extend, Under Night In-Birth EXE:Late, and Melty Blood: Actress Again Current Code on Steam in the West! This is a big step for ASW, as they have been reluctant to release games on PC in the past.
First up is Xrd -SIGN-, coming on on December 9 for $30 USD. They're even having a special offer where if you buy the game in the first month, they'll throw in all the DLC (characters, colors, system voices) for free.
Now you're wondering why I've brought you all here. The reason why I decided to create this google doc is basically for the sake of being able to find players for the matchups that you lack or wish to get more experience in. Another reason is to find and identify many of the people who play these characters to varying degrees that many people may not even know of. Since starting Guilty Gear (with Xrd) I had to play a lot of catch up and had a pretty difficult time finding certain matchups. Even OG's lack experience against some of the newer characters who can give trouble, but I noticed specifically harder for a lot to find Bedman, so hopefully an open google doc where people can input their own information will create a much quicker way to find what you're looking for. There was about 1,000 people at EVO this year for Xrd and I'm hoping at least 40 or 50% can find this doc and input info. So just keep sharing.
Also as I'm starting to notice. This is a great way to help identify people that are near your scene that you didn't even know existed. Very great way to start having people come to your casuals so hit em up.
Looking to take your Guilty Gear Xrd frame data on the go? Don't want to sift through a clumsy mobile web browser to access the Japanese & Dustloop Xrd wikis on your mobile phone or tablet?
Well then, Community Member AnBi2199 (Twitter: @AnBi2199) has developed a mobile app for Android Platforms deftly named: GunFrame.
All that you need to know is contained after the jump, including a recent update which has added Leo Whitefang to the roster. It should be noted that as of this writing there are no immediate plans to develop the application for iOS platforms. iOS users can only hope that changes with a bit more exposure, including community input and assistance.
Check out the jump for preview screenshots of the app, as well as a few developer's notes.
One of the struggles with the AFGC scenes outside of Japan is that due to the focus on arcade releases, other scenes often do not get access to a game until months, if not almost a year after arcade release.
However, Round 1 Arcade, a large arcade franchise in the United States, has announced that they have Nesica x Live cabinets at their location in Puente Hills, CA.
Jourdal has been steady at work uploading new footage on his YouTube channel over the past weeks. Most notably for Guilty Gear fans are 6 first to 7 showcases all featuring Tomo (Leo) against some of Mikado's finest, including the EVO World Champion himself - Ogawa (Zato).
Check out the matches and more info after the break.

Let's take a moment to talk about One Frame Jumps.
The fact is, what most of us understand One Frame Jumps to be simply isn't the case. Actually, a lot of what we know about the first few frames of jumping is wrong! Here I'll attempt to demonstrate how jumping really works, and how it impacts the game.
The AFGC is a robust and huge community, but rarely one that gets exposure to show the multitude of people involved in anime and airdasher games. One person seeks to change that.
kozu presents Circuit Spark - a documentary dedicated to highlighting the AFGC and to giving the world an introduction to what they're about and the numerous games they support. It shows events hosted by the AFGC at EVO like the Anime Suite, interviews numerous players, and even gets comments from Daisuke Ishiwatari himself. Check out the trailer below!
The seventh installment of Frosty Faustings is getting set to kick off today at 8pm at The Crowne Plaza Chicago-Northbrook Hotel right outside of Chcago IL. Guilty Gear AC +R will be the first up to bat.

Under Night In-birth: EXE Late [st] ( UNIEL [st] ) has been given an arcade release date of July 23rd 2015 by Arc System Works, complete with new introductory trailer and opening theme to accompany the arrival news.
A game corner anticipated to have a playable version of BBCF and Xrd Revelator at ARC REVO CUP 2015 has been canceled. It may or may not have had an updated version of BBCF after the first loketest, but either way it would have given the opportunity to learn more about the game.
GameNow runs off of a monthly subscription, and for at the very least these 2 games are set at 450 yen (~$5.00 USD). Check the jump for more info regarding these two nostalgic titles, as well as the cloud based service model!
French player Alioune-sensei is world renown not only for is amazing Street Fighter IV play, but also for his skill and love of Guilty Gear. In Xrd, this is also the case as the lab monster has been hard at work developing unblockable technology for Elphelt, a newcomer to the series and console-exclusive character. Check out this playlist after the break.
Hopefully it's only for Loketest reactions, otherwise that's awful. I hope more Bedman players voice their thoughts on this to ARCSys. He needs those mixups, otherwise he's like a gimped Axl Low or something.
