So Xrd has been out for a little under a month now, and it seems like a lot of new people are interested in Guilty Gear because of it, which is awesome! I’ve recently started to hear more and more that new players are having trouble with a few key things, so to help with that, I’ve decided to write about a very important topic: Throws!
French player Alioune-sensei is world renown not only for is amazing Street Fighter IV play, but also for his skill and love of Guilty Gear. In Xrd, this is also the case as the lab monster has been hard at work developing unblockable technology for Elphelt, a newcomer to the series and console-exclusive character. Check out this playlist after the break.
With Guilty Gear Xrd now available for both Japan as well as North America, plenty of videos and tech have come in for various characters.
On the tutorial side of things, I-no, a character notorious for being extremely execution heavy and requiring demanding play has been broken down for beginners looking to try her out. Check out these community created I-no tutorials after the jump.
With the Japanese release of Under Night In-Birth: EXE Late [uNIEL] imminent this evening (7/24/14) in Japan, there is sure to be a flood of interested players descending on various forums, wikis, and match vids looking for information so that they may better learn and understand the system and facets of this new IP.
Luckily, the players at Japan's Akihabara Leisureland Arcade in Tokyo, Japan have put together an amazing clinic showcasing the intricacies of the title; breaking down various game systems for the beginner as well as delving into some pretty impressive advanced strategies and offensive/defensive option selects. Guts 3 will be going down this coming September 19-21 featuring almost every game under the sun and then some, at the legendary Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Ledyard, Conneticut.
But the real hype news here is that Godly airdasher/anime game player Ruu (GG - Bridget) from Japan will be making an appearance to participate in the Guilty Gear Accent Core +R tournament! While this is not Ruu's first appearance in the US for a Guilty Gear tournament (Evolution 2007), it does mark the first time that he has visited the East Coast, especially by himself.
Check out the information for the tournament as well as Ruu's visit to the states after the jump!
GameNow runs off of a monthly subscription, and for at the very least these 2 games are set at 450 yen (~$5.00 USD). Check the jump for more info regarding these two nostalgic titles, as well as the cloud based service model!

(I don't really know if this is a question, but I'll answer it anyway lol)
Yes, these are the correct Dragon Age magazines (first one has Chapter 9, second one Chapter 10)
Just be careful with the shipping price; Every one of the magazine have about 800 pages. They are not really heavy, but the price can rise quite a bit just because of the package size.
Since apparently nobody posted scans for chapter 9 and 10, I've begun looking up into purchasing them for scan myself. Please confirm if they are located in these items, if you will:
Oh, btw, did you noticed their defense modifers? Just to know. I wonder if Baiken still with her paper-thin defense, the (almost) same works with Answer, since being a Ninja, like Chipp, would make him a paper character.
Checked out the game at the arcade. I never really used Baiken with any regularity, so I can't comment too much on what's different. But, her 236236+S super definitely did less damage than I expected it to. She doesn't seem to be lacking in tools to make up for it, though.
She also has this Yamazaki-style, mob-boss strut going on when she walks forward. Arched back and everything. It's goofy-looking as hell in comparison to her inching forward in the past games. So, you can look forward to that. Her intro and outro involve this kind of long-winded samurai period-drama narration. It's pretty funny.
I really like Answer. His shenanigans are fun, but I definitely did not unlock any potential in one playthrough. I really want to play this character some more when the game hits. Nothing like Chipp at all if anyone was worried.
He is actually on the phone throughout the entire match. Like, having full on convos while fighting you. Even a few strained lines when he gets hit. Dude's a multitasker. lol
Also, Zato has a glowing red outline now. Akin to how in the previous games he would fade into black continuously.
And a minor spoiler regarding something in Dizzy's episode mode regarding Ky...
