    From the CF Loketest Newsthread: OD Hell's Fang now is dash cancel-able Counter Hit Nightmare Edge can now connect with 6C. 3C>2D connects, can even followup with a Dead Spike Ragna seems more of a beginner class character, eliminating any complicated combo routes or sort. Good to start off with but ends up being plain and basic. Even during a fatal counter, Nightmare Edge cannot pursue. 6D doesn't cause the opponent to float as much, after a JD wiff, 5B or 5C is the best it can do. A side-dash 6A won't reach. Mid-Screen "Not over yet" (22C) will push the opponent less. 22C>Dash Cancel>5C is easier to pull off. CID is an F Starter? Aerial Blood Scythe has bigger cool down? 6D>JD is too difficult to pull off, I was only able to do it once. But even if I miss, I still can combo into things so I guess it's OK. 5C>low air Gauntlet Hades is now gone. 5B>5C>2D>Dead Spike>Dash Cancel>Dash 5C, I was able to do up to 5C but couldn't connect it with a 5D afterwards. Only Aerials? 6D>JD>Dash 5B>6A seems like the basic combo. JD doesn't make the opponent float too much any more.

  4. Blade! How are you? Hope all is well! I have a couple of questions. One: Do you have psn? My Xbox Live ran out and I have no intention of getting anymore since all the games I play are basically dead over there. And two: Should I consider getting AC+R to get ready for Xrd? I may have asked you this but how steep of a learning curve is it from BB to GG?

  5. I understand. That's what BB is to me, you can't stop loving the thing that started it all. But I feel you on Extend, the only reason I'm really still (kind of) playing is because by the end of school I finally found some people who were into the game and other fighters. I'll let you know when I'd be down to have some matches. I may look into GG as well if the +R patch comes out soon. Speaking of CP what do you think of it?

  7. Blade! It's been a while! I hope all is well! Dunno if you're still playing BB or any other fighting game at the moment, but I'm still trying to keep up and have gone on every now and then.     Maybe they'll do what they did with P4U- After they release the other 3 characters they'll do a balance path to the arcades. Then that balance patch will be what we get for consoles.

    Whoa...it does look like chip damage got buffed.. Didn't they say Amane can do a lot of chip damage? Guess it buffed for all of the other characters too!
  12. A couple of trees fell down in my area but my family is fine and no one got hurt. Really? Oh boy....I probably don't stand a chance against you now! Oh yeah GG came out...I'm somewhat interested in it, but I kind of just wanna wait until +R comes out. Has your dad reached your uncle? I know the city got hit pretty hard, but I think some of Long Island as got power back. I have a friend who lives in that area and she has power back.

  13. Every now and then I am. Still trying to find my sub....I jumped from Makoto, to Tao, to Litchi, and now onto Bang. As long as I can do at least 13 out of the 15 challenges for him, I think I'll start to learn him. As far as school goes it's going well, but the hurricane put us behind a week and I'm supposed to go back tomorrow so we'll see how that goes.

    Hey guys! So I'm trying to learn Tao and so at the very least I wanted to get used to her combos and have an idea of what she can do. So I'm in CSEX's challenge mode and I'm stuck on Challenge 11. I understand it but for some reason my jump cancel for the final JC>Cat Spirit 2 never comes out. The only thing that I'm thinking that screws me up is that when I do J.8D I accidentally input a Jump cancel there. It doesn't feel like I do though. However when I hit that Jump C just before the J8D I delay it a bit to make sure the J8D connects so I don't know if that messes me up? I'm just lost on what I'm doing wrong so any help would be appreciated.

  18. Battling you and getting advice would be great! My question is when would you want to battle though? My connection should be at least be a two bar since I can battle people in Canada with a 3 bar connection- I live in New York if that helps. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated. If you post it up in the Ragna Critique thread I'll be sure to check it out (or on my homepage is fine too whichever you prefer). Thanks for all the help Sadeyo.

  19. Oi.....well.....I won more this time. But I feel like I really need to hit the lab. After a while you started to read every blockstring I did. Which is fine, I got really stale with them. I got pretty salty after a while. I need to see what Ragna can do on Oki cuz that's what killing me. That and I need to see what I can do about stopping you from jumping out of the corner. Oi....you got out of your rust. Kinda hate to say it, but Sadeyo was right....I need to improve on my neutral game.

  20. Hahaha! Like I said I play Blade every now and then, but I'm gonna try and get into playing BB a lot more. He keeps encouraging me and telling me I get way better every time we play. My connections with him are actually pretty good. Dunno where you live but if you want to spare some time I'd be down. Though I'm not the best Ragna at all, but I love learning more in this game and appreciate constructive criticism.

  21. I play BladeofJustice7 every now and then. So yeah I do fight Hakumen a lot, even though Blade will always beat me by a large margin in our FT15s. But he keeps telling me I level up a whole lot each time we play and keeps wanting to play me, so that says something to me at least.

    Crush trigger sounds like a neat mechanic. I like how it encourages more offensive play, gives the player another option to think about when it comes to spending heat, and it'll add some mind games to the gameplay. A little worried about how it will play out since it is pretty much an instant guard crush- but it's interesting nonetheless.

    Ragna's normals aren't "awesomely fast". They're good footsies tools sure, but not enough to be called "awesomely fast". His mix-up is okay, but because it's only okay you have to work at hitting your opponent and get them into a state where they're scared of what you're going to do IF you're doing things right with Ragna. Symm isn't contradicting himself. He's saying that she's overall the worst character in the game but she is capable of winning. Every fighting game has an overall best and worst character(s) in the game, that's just the nature of them. The only way for a fighting game to not have a worst character or even a best character and achieve absolute perfect balance is to make every character exactly the same. But that wouldn't be much of a fun game at all would it then? BB is balanced in the sense that everyone is capable of winning even if some characters have to work harder then others. Plus just about everyone gets played, even in tournaments which is a lot more that can be said of other fighters out there.
