  1. Greeting Relius board! After viewing a few videos making use of the 6b > 6c >236a … combos I decided to see what I could find. These combos work midscreen and carry to the corner while dealing good damage but also use a crazy amount of Ignis meter. If these have already been posted somewhere then I apologize for redundant information. --- Ignis must be summoned 5b > 2c > 2d > ! > 6b > 6c > 214a > 66 sj > j.b > j.c > j.8d > dj.c > dj.8d > j.236c > j.214b > 2c > 236c > 214a > 3c > ( 632146 c or D ) ! Bonus: Can add a led lay (236a) for some extra style. Ignis Cost : 8000 Heat Gained: 58 ( 3c end combo > 4250 ) ( Req Vinum end combo > 4600 ) ( Vol Tedo end combo >5282 ) Note: you can substitute the 1st 2c for 5c and possibly other moves. --- 6b > 6c > 214a > 66 sj> j.b > j.c > j.8d > dj.c > dj.8d > j.216c > j.214b> 2c > 6c > 4d > 2c > 6c > 4d > 3c > ( 632146 c or D ) Ignis cost: 7000 (8000) Heat Gained: 58 ( 3c end > 4736 ) ( Req Vinum end > 5128 ) ( Vol Tedo end > 5771 ) --- Final Notes: Damage tested on Mu. The timing and damage seems to fluctuate from the few characters I have tried this on. Not sure how useful ending in Req Vinum will be. It is added to the result for the possibility of being able to regen some Ignis meter. ( Not sure if this is possible ) No additional attacks were used after the activation of Req Vinum. Due to the high Ignis cost these probably won’t be too viable and could probably be optimized to reduce the Ignis cost to damage ratio. (For example you can save at least 1000 meter by omitting the second j.8d in both combos.) Despite this, I desired to contribute and hope that it can help in some form or fashion. EDIT: Fixed a few small errors in the notation.

Tsubaki does not need to be hit by a fatal counter. For an example of Tsubaki, refer to 2:06 in the following video. http://zoome.jp/sculpture/diary/26/ So far my testing has only gotten the guys Kid listed + Tsubaki. Sorry for the confusion earlier, those fatal's tricked me into thinking it worked on everybody...

I don't have any way of recording video so sadly I can't post it. I'm not completly sure it works on everybody, but I'm 100% sure ( due to having tested it ) that it works on Tsubaki, Taokaka, Noel, Rachel, Hakuman, Tager, and Arkune. I'm fairly sure I've also done it on Ragna and Jin as well, but since I'm not 100% sure I'll go ahead and retest them. Its pretty annoying to test for me atm, but I'll go ahead and try it on everybody to find out for certain. ( Might take me a while as while I can do it somewhat consistently, I can't do it as consistently as I wish. )

To answer your Q Eclipse, to me, its a lot harder than any of his other combos. Without some serious practice, its almost possible to pull it off consistently. There are pretty much two trouble spots, timing the j.9d and everybody's favorite j.6d after the 623d. It also seems to be much harder on some characters than others. ( I find Ragna is surprisingly more difficult than somebody like Tsubaki... might just be me tho. )

    [CS1] Hazama Combo Thread

I’ve been looking for the best damaging combo for 50% tension mid-screen non-fatal combo and this is what I’ve found: 236236b > 44 > ( Slight Delay* ) > j.9d~a > 623d > j.6d~d** > 5c > 4d~a > 4d~d > j.cx5 > dj.cx5 > 214d *) The delay is very slight and may not be necessary for you depending on how long it takes you to backdash after 236236b. I found myself hitting the enemy too high with j.9d for 236d to connect. This slight delay corrected this problem for me. **) To land this difficult link, I find it beneficial to hold up and stare at Hazama and use 6d the second he leaves the ground. Damage: 5,755 Tension Gained: 39 Damage starting w/ 5c : 6,400 < My current favorite punishment combo. Tension Gained: 42 Damage starting w/ 3c: 5,361 Tension Gained: 39 A big thank you to the poster of this video http://zoome.jp/sculpture/diary/26/. ( Pretty sure it’s the same guy that posted the new Hazama combo video. ) At 2:06 he shows a 100% combo for 7,911: 236236b > 44 > j.9d~a > 623d > j.6d~d > 5c > 4d~a > 236236b > 214d~c >5c > 2c > 4d~a > 4d~d > j.cx5 > dj.cx5 > 214b This might work on everybody... however needs more testing. It is slightly easier to do these combo’s on characters w/ big aerial hitboxes. ( ex. Tager ) EDIT: Fixed an error in combo. Thanks Kid Viper. EDIT2: Changed last paragraph until it is 100% proven that it works on everybody.

Bad choice of words on my behalf, I was mostly just referring to a move that could go thru it and Noel's 5d was the 1st attack that came to mind. I'm aware of the corner combos, I was saying they should buff it so that you can combo it from mid-screen on counter hit without using 50% heat for a rapid. ( I'm thinking connect a 5d ~ d to his standard combo stuff. ) I also think it looks and sounds pretty cool. Its my move of choice to whack KO foes w/ to watch them slide across the screen.

Is 236D even safe for blockstrings? I'm pretty sure that characters with a good reversal like Noel's 5d can just go straight thru it and punish you for it. ( I might be wrong about this...) If the move was a bit faster or able to be combo'd from mid-screen on counter hits it would be a lot better / worth using.

lol @ beating up women and children. XD I'm personally thinking there will be a huge influx initially due to the cool look and the new factor. However, Hazama defiantly feels awkward at 1st, so hopefully most of those will drop him. Even if there are a lot of Hazama players, we can always master those tricky combos to stand out. ( looking at you j.6d after jakou...) Speaking of tricky combos... I know I've seen this combo somewhere, but I can't find the link. ( around the same time as the 10k combo was discovered ) 236236D > 44 ( backdash ) > j.9d ~ a > (land) 623d > j.6d > 2c > 4d ~ a > 4d ~ d > j.c X 10 > 214d It deals about 5,200 to 5,500ish mid-screen for only 50% tension and has worked on everybody I've tried so far. The only problem is the tricky timing on the j.9d and of course that j.6d. I don't recall any discussion on the combo so sorry it its already been discussed.

Reposting in correct thread for proper discussion: I've attempted to test this further, but that j.6d is giving me trouble. If it is possible on other characters, the timing is extremely tight, however, I'm sadly beginning to think that its only possible on Tager, Rachel, Arakune, and Hakuman.

If you want a rule like that to be followed, it needs to be where people can see it. I skimmed thru the 1st 10 pages and didn't see that posted anywhere. I recommend that any important disclaimers such as that be placed at the bottom of the initial post to avoid incidents like this in the future.

The combos on the 1st page are up kept up to date, and the ~ means that you press the button that follows and generally refers to 2 part moves. For example, if you see: 2c > 4d ~ a > 4d ~ d That would tell you that after 2c, you connect a 4d, then press a to cancel the chain, then connect another 4d and press d to swing to the enemy to finish the combo.

    [CS1] Hazama Combo Thread

I've been testing the following combo ( shown most recently in the newest combo video ) and can confirm that it works on Tager, Arakune, Hakuman, and Rachel. 5b > 3c > 214d ~ c > 2c > 6a ~ a > 4d > 623d > j.6d > 2c > 4d ~ a > 4d ~ d > j.c X 5 > dj.c X 5 > j.214d However, I think its possible to land this combo on some other characters as well. If you start the combo at the tip of Hazama's 5B, or 3C, you will be able to connect the 6D after you launch them. I can get the combo up to the point where you have to jump and connect 6D. However, I believe me being unable to connect the j.6d is just me having problems with this link, so its possible this works on more characters.

After listening to the extended voice sample, I feel a little better about the English voice. He has some good lines in there, however, the way he announces his special attacks seems a little awkward and out of place. I'm willing to give English Hazama a chance, however, I'll most likely still choose the Japanese VA since I feel it fits Hazama perfectly. ( Besides... that laughter on Mizuchi Rekkazan is beyond amazing. )

In the last of the G3 vids at around 4:55 the Hazama player shows a pretty cool grab combo I've never seen. Grab > 6D ~ D > j.C X 5 (4 connect ) > ( land ) 236D for 2374. I'm curious if its character specific with characters with big aerial hitboxes or if it could possibly be expanded.
