  1. Hi.

Anybody in here that wants to play/plays frequently add me! I'm on almost every day and normally for a few hours, so I'm free to play pretty often. Normally of the evenings is when I'm on.

I know I play a good portion of you regularly in the lobby and random player rooms as well, but we can always play more!

For anybody who I've never fought, I play Litchi and Kokonoe. I sometimes I like to goof around with Lambda and Tsubaki as well.

GGs to those I've fought recently, and let's play again! :)

EDIT: And just to clarify, the PSN on my Dustloop profile is the one I currently use, so contact me on that one if you want to play.

  2. I'm actually going to give a few corrections about 4B and ItsuuA:

4B > ItsuuA is a 2f link and doesn't work at the end of highly prorated combos due to decreased untechable time. 4B > 6Bf > ItsuuA has a larger window for connecting the 4B into ItsuuA because 6Bf recovers faster than 4B does. An example of this would be CH 5D launch anti-air > 5B > j.B > j.C > Staff 2 > 5B > 4B > Ender. 4B > ItsuuA won't work here because there's not enough time, however 6Bf > ItsuuA will work because of the faster recovery.

The most common starter where 6Bf needs to be used is from 6A[m] > 4B. 4B doesn't recover in time for ItsuuA to combo here, so 6Bf needs to be used. There's a few situations where things like this happen, so it's really important to learn the 6Bf version.

The reverse situation also happens, where 6Bf can't be used over 4B > ItsuuA directly. There are times where the opponent will be too close after 4B and 6Bf will put you into a position where either your inputs get reversed or ItsuuA will cause the opponent to fall the wrong way (Like out of the corner). More often than not you'll want to use 4B > ItsuuA when you're really deep in the corner or right underneath the opponent when 4B hits. Make sure you practice both!

As for CF routes including ItsuuA, you can special cancel into Itsuu again this version and 4B is now special cancelable, so ItsuuA links aren't a thing anymore. Not to mention that Itsuu can't be used in mid-screen combos anymore, so the 4B > ItsuuA route is only usable in the corner now.

    Hopefully, this helps!

EDIT: Also, to help with the timing on it, make sure you're buffering Itsuu during the recovery of 4B/6Bf. Start inputting 41236D right at the ender of 4B/6Bf and then hit A as soon as you enter Itsuu.

  3. I'm not sure how people have trouble finding relevant information within the forums when there are specific threads in each character forum tailored to compiling this information for that exact purpose. I do think some threads could use some redecoration as far as formatting goes, and for starters, I like the combo thread formatting @Urichinan proposed.

I also posted my full format here.

I have quite a few ideas on how combo thread/wiki posts can be restructured. For starters, with the implementation drop-down boxes in the video threads, I think something along the lines of this should be possible:

Drop box 1= starter, drop box 2= enemy state (Stand, crouch, air, etc.), drop box 3= screen position

Pick what you want to find, hit "Go!", and it'll generate the tables for whatever it is you're looking for. No more scrolling through giant walls of combos.

Also I think it's crucial that we start filling combo sections with combo theory and breakdowns of combo parts along with the lists.

  4. GGs to everyone I've played lately.

Special shoutouts to Vevion for the 5 hour long set last night on my stream. Also shoutouts to the stream chat, that was fun!

I finally got net, so I'm open to matches now! Hit me up on here, Twitter, or my PSN (Uri_WoZ) if you guys want to play some sets sometime.

  5. I don't know if this is old news or what, but I didn't notice this in here:

    (Missile) 5B > 5C > 3C > B Persia > Dash j.C > j.D > Dash 6C > 22C > Dash 5C > 6A > Mami (3571 DMG/25 HG)

Do 236A~A~A as fast as possible, then delay the final B.

Works on everyone past the B Persia part (Though it's insanely hard on Rachel and Kagura), the starting chain into B Persia still falls within character specific requirements (Like having to use raw 3C > Persia on Makoto, and omitting 5C after 5B on Arakune, etc.).
