  1. At 2PM January 14th (Japan Time), roughly 14 hours and 20-something minutes from the time of this post, there is something BlazBlue related to look forward to. Likely related to Act 2.
  2. Gematsu is a website. H2 Interactive (a Korean company) publishes ArcSys stuff in Taiwan and Korea and also publishes BlazBlue games on Steam.
  3. Some of you might be aware of Xrd's title ranks for the 26th-30th dan rankings. BBCF also has these. For BB they are: 26th dan = 宗家筆頭 "[Duodecim] Family Head" or "Duodecim Head" (Currently held by Fenrich, Dio and Tennti). 27th dan = 英雄 "Hero" (Currently held by Ryusei). No idea what BB's equivalents to 28th/"King", 29th/"Tyrant" and 30th/"Battle God" are; no one has them yet.
  4. So Karinchu has ranked up again. This time to "Battle God" (闘神).
  5. In Act 2, Nightmare Memory, the characters are gradually becoming aware of the "out of place feeling" of the world. Just what is the source of the unending tragedy's repetition? A shocking truth will become known. In Speed Star Mode, the player must defeat random enemies within a time limit. The player character is "invincible", they do not take damage when they are hit with attacks, but when the time reaches zero it's game over. Time can be extended by performing various feats such as activating Overdrive, entering Active Flow or doing 3000 damage in a combo. There is a chance for encountering a "bonus character" that will give higher amounts of additional time when performing such actions. Another new feature is the ability to select a "VS COM" character in Arcade Mode and Sparring Mode. Using this feature, a player could be playing with Nine in Sparring Mode but can fight off against any challengers using Ragna. The VS COM character can be changed on the Arcade Mode Act selection screen or the Sparring Mode selection screen by pressing the Start button. You can not change the "VS Human" character from what was initially selected however. Score Attack Mode's "Course D" will be unlocked and Sparring Mode is receiving a substantial expansion. Among the additions to Sparring are the ability to show command lists (for both the player and the opponent), a restart button and the ability to change the dummy's posing between standing, crouching and jumping. 7. Don't buy it on Steam yet, discount isn't applied and the DLC isn't there yet. Edit: Spoke too soon, go get it now. Elphelt DLC looks to be still missing but give it time. Edit 2: Elphelt DLC fixed, you will need to restart Steam to see it if you don't already.

    [UNIEL] News & Gameplay Discussion

http://www.inside-games.jp/article/2015/12/08/93801.html UNIEL PC version coming to Steam Summer 2016. Also off-topic but MBAACC coming to Steam in Spring.
  9. Ha, that's funny. I think that shadow looks like Saya/Izanami's hair... who has a ponytail. Granted Saya/Izanami's ponytail is so freaking big you would think she had her hair down if you couldn't see her head. BTW, this discussion should probably stop here. It's not gameplay discussion.
  10. Yo, Karinchu ranked up. From King (王者) to Tyrant (暴君). I wonder what name 30th dan will have, assuming anyone reaches it.
  11. http://www.arcsystemworks.jp/index.cgi?eid=1722 Oh hi, they've revealed how you can get the Xblaze colours. They're rewards for participating in mobage-style point collecting events. The initial set will be just Ragna, Tager, Bang, Tsubaki, Litchi, Celica, Carl and Naoto but the second set is expected for mid-December.

The Lambda in those matches is Reria.
  13. That's Shawl, it's the spell she uses when the Active Slot is empty.
  14. The aura is from Flax Nurture. She spends the magic in the active slot to "wear its corresponding attribute" for a self-buff, making magic of that attribute have higher attack power. So basically, red aura = better fire magic, green aura = better wind magic and blue aura = better water magic?
  15. They've acknowledged the invisibility bug, at least. http://www.blazblue.jp/cf/ac/info.html Wouldn't be too surprised if its been fixed for the Nine patch.
  16. Oh, Hyakuhachi's artwork? Her stuff isn't official though, as nice as it is. I do like how she put Es, Mai, Raquel and Young Clavis into that artwork, though.
  17. Look at what pic? You did not post a picture.
  18. No, I don't think we'll get Act 2 this soon. More likely to come by the end of December.
  19. Only her spells are named for gems, specials and supers have a colour motif.
  20. So Nine had her release date revealed (3rd of December). So here's her specials. 214A (Air OK) - Crimson Raider 214B - Mauvette Roar 214C - Navy Pressure 236D (Air OK) - Sea-moss Gate 214D (Air OK) - Flax Nurture Supers: 236236A - Flame Punisher 236236B - Cardinal Nova 236236C - Azurite Inferno Noticing a pattern, first word is a colour and the button determines which one: A = Red, B = Purple, C = Blue and D = Green. I can't read all the sorcery names, though it looks like she has a total of 20 spells (19 from combinations and a 20th for when she has nothing). Overdrive is "BurningRed" (yes, that one, the Crimson Grimoire from Remix Heart), it makes so she can get magic from A/B/C attacks on whiff in addition to the normal on hit or block. https://twitter.com/GAO_Kitasenju/status/669789502458605568
  21. I've yet to see any confirmation of when she will be playable.
  22. If you're going to use 2 letters for Water (WA) and Wind (WI), you might as well just use 2 for Fire (FI) instead of only 1.
  23. Wait, is it "Flack Snatcher" or "Flux Nurture"? The kanji name implies it's should be nurture... Also considering the "kanji name" for the Exceed Accel is " 嘲笑う真緋の虚栄 " (Sneering Scarlet Vanity") shouldn't the "katakana name" be Scarlet Vain instead of Scarlet Vein
