  1. I assume they want you to combo it with the super-armor mode before flying away to the opposite side of the screen... Or rather, they don't want it to be unexpectedly broken. I wish you could at least use it after the command grab, but that requires 150 Heat. People managed to find a use for Kokonoe's Golden Tager, so maybe they can do it with time stop, too.
  2. Gotta say that I didn't expect Izanami to be so grappler-like in gameplay. Despite her projectiles and mobility, her range is rather short, and her gameplan comes down to staying in her opponent's face while covering the holes in her pressure with the Drive. Not to mention that she has two command grabs and a super-armor mode. Which means that the chances of me at least subbing her have just gone up.
  3. Considering that her float normals seem to match her ground ones, I assume they retain most of their properties, including most of them being mids... Though scoring a low from a float would be silly.

  5. Gotta second all the praise for her looks: I was impressed by Nine, but Izanami beats her easily. If I were a man who mains characters for a single move, I would main her for that facegrab super alone. The act 3 boss has great expectations to meet now.

  7. You're a doujin kusoge. But really, the whole "Flying around and shooting stuff" does remind me of the shmup genre, even if it doesn't have to be Touhou, specifically. Nothing wrong about taking inspiration from new sources, as long as the result doesn't have any glaring issues. EDIT: So, who wanted some skulls?

  11. Pretty sure she's not a little girl, but an adult woman. That link with the release date news also has a short description of his/her fighting style, though it doesn't really say anything specific, just general descriptions like "Putting their weight into the attacks" and "Having a very Guilty Gear-ish combat style". Let's hope the article itself is more elaborate.
  12. Interesting how she's the only character with kanji in her name. We do have the official translation of it, Hades, but don't be surprised when people call her Meiou Izanami, especially in Japanese videos. Her design is looking good, though stance switch characters are getting old. At least her DD is looking very flashy.

  18. The question I'm having right now is, if this is Saya, then who the hell is going to be the boss of act 3? Unless they split Saya and Izanami into two separate beings, I guess only Amaterasu would be a good enough last boss.
