    might be good to note that in order for 22C to land after inferno divider, the opponent cannot tech. ax kick > 22C will not work if the opponent techs correctly. course that is the reason for using the 22A~C trick

    you can jump cancel a move and go straight into OD, and it'll register as a raw OD. however, keep in mind that raw OD startup is 19 frames while cancel OD startup is something like 5 frames. so in order for jcc OD to work, you have to use a jc-able move that has a lot of hitstun (like noel's 6C)

  10. i could try this out. i listened to the first episode and it's pretty interesting from what i heard.
  11. there's nothing wrong with letting new players talking about the game. it lets us know what the beginner mindset is, and it'll help us help you get better.
  12. do this more if you know the combo won't end well with you. not entirely restricted to corner, but more helpful in corner cases. don't do this. if your health is high, just take the damage and see what happens after that. if your health is low, you can decide on whether to use the burst or saving it for next match. if you do the first option, you might end up wasting the burst by dying afterwards. i don't even know why you decided to revolve your burst strats to rounds this is bad, especially if the corner combo is not particularly a high damage one. save the burst for times when you REALLY need it, such as being in a corner combo where you know it'll do a lot of damage. if you're winning, i'd save it. if you're losing, then by all means. just be careful of any burst baits. i personally like doing this, but it sometimes backfires on me. be careful on when you burst in times like this. generally, you'll want to be careful on which moves to burst. many moves in extend are safe on hit and allow the opponent to block the burst if done correctly (and there's always the hard burst bait). you'll also want to burst in combos that you know by heart will do a lot of damage and/or will put you in a clear disadvantage (such as Carl's unblockables).

    enemy should be in the corner for optimal BK combo. good (and practical) starters would be 5B/5C/6B/2B on croucher (which you can use 6C > delay 214D > dash 6B), CH anti-air 6A, throw (both ground and air), and 2C (FC or no FC). impractical but high damage starters would be 5D(1) on crouchers (cancel into DS, then dash 5B into 6C), CH 2D, 6D, 6C, and CH gauntlet hades.

  18. i'm pretty sure SMP glitch has no damage/proration penalties anymore. this explains why hazama's OD combos with repeated chains and jayokus still do a shit ton of damage.

  20. there are a few exceptions to where SMP won't force immediate tech. the only example so far (someone can correct me on this) is some of hazama's moves.
  21. i'm not entirely sure if those two games even have what you call an "online following" anyways. there is a new blazblue around the corner as well, so even extend itself is struggling to keep itself relevant. that being said, i would probably say that CS would have a better online scene since CS2's the closest one can get to CSEX at the moment.
