    This may seem silly but I'm having a hard time gatling 6P>5HS>6HS(1 hit)>6P>5HS>6HS etc. In AC of course. Is the initial 6P supposed to hit once? Is the 5HS supposed to hit 3 times? I can cancel out of 5HS into 6HS after 1 or 2 hits, but I'm still having a hard time gatling it. Jam in AC is so much different... lol
  2. Thanks for the lag tip, but after setting up ports for other games, etc. I usually have the habit of cutting any DLs and unnecessary progs running when I'm playing a game online- Any help?? Or is my comp just garbage? The port situation is what's puzzling me most, especially after I open the ports on my router, and the port checker still says they're closed when I have GGXX#Reload running-
  3. Question, if you open up a port, then use the portchecker from the main thread and check when GGXX#Reload is open, and it still says the port is closed... what can you do? Also, I've been having the black screen of death problem quite often, and been getting severe lag during the few games that work for me. I once directly connected to my modem, and only managed to run 1 game out of 3, despite this fact. I just gave up after that. If anyone has any tips on fixing these problems, I'd appreciate it.
  4. Just a question, is Delay 4 faster than Delay 2? I see a lot of Delay 2s on, and when I have had a successful connect in a Delay 4 it was extremely laggy/slow. I've also been getting the black screen of death a lot. I've tried opening up different ports on my network too, argh, I wish this would just work so I can play online without problems- oh and...     j.HS with ghosts now is unsafe? Are you sure it's not your timing? I thought j.HS for oki pretty much stuffed anything your opponent is going to throw, I whore that move out against guarding crouchers... using 2 j.HS in a row seems like a waste anyway since you're only left with one ghost.

    Things I must know: 1. How do you parry a projectile with multiple hits? I've heard it called "burst rush" before, I downloaded the Wargasm guide but unfortunately I don't know enough Japanese and the vid goes pretty fast for me. 2. Some nice B&B combos for Jam would be good... list setups like Throw FRC, 236S>K>charged 236k RC, 236S>S CH, etc. That would help out some new Jam users (like me! heh). I saw a list of her best normals in one of these threads but I forget where... What happened to the Jam guide? Got scrapped? Oh well I guess this is as close as we'll get to one? haha
  7. Dragon punches need to be FD'd? That's something I didn't know, thanks. The Chipp player I mentioned abuses Beta Blade a lot because of the invincibility before it goes active. So if Dragon punches need to be FD'd in the air, then Sol's Volcanic Viper/Ky's VT need to be FD'd if you're airborne, or else they'll hit??
  8. This may seem kind of noob but why is it that I am guarding/recovering, I still get hit by a move? I was playing today against my friend (Chipp user), and when I'd get knocked down, or launched in the air, I'd recover with FD and immediately guard. To my surprise I would still be hit, not just once, but several times. Is it that Chipp is just more fast, and can get in a few extra hits upon knockdown? Or that I am pressing a button while guarding? I've gotten extremely frustrated with this and it has seriously had an impact on my gameplay. Zappa is my major char, followed by Ky and Dizzy. I understand that a lot of these events are highly situational, and probably relating to the active frames of moves/hitboxes.... I've read the FAQ and have been reading several parts of this forum, but I was hoping that there'd be a more direct solution to my problem.
