    I'll be sure to hit you up in a month or less when I become proficient with Mr. Badguy. Hope you don't mind if I add you till then.

     

    Sounds good man. In fact, if you're decent currently we should still play. While you're learning Sol I could learn against Sol along the way :).

     

    EAN and Shin have both mentioned that I should play against you. I'm also from SoCal and I frequented FFA and Super, though I haven't been as active in the last two years. I dunno if we've ever played before.

    Uhhh unless something changed no they aren't...

    Napalm Toss is where she flings the Tears in arcs, this move is QCB+K, Napalm Shot is where she directly shoots the Tears, this move is F+P, I know she can shoot straight ahead and at a downward angle.

    Sorry, when I said projectile I meant sprite. They are the same sprite.

    The lobbing motion, yes. The move itself I would say is more like Cable's grenades. reason being is because he throws them in the same manner and just like his you can tk them. Once you tk however she throws them diagonally downwards rather than lobbing. Also, like Cable's grenades, you can hold the button to keep them from activating in their usual spot and actually have them place anywhere in the lob path.

    First question, she cannot. She can use her qcb+kicks to lob them in an upward arch shape but that's as close as you're going to get to it.

    As for the second question I don't have frame data so Mike will have to respond to that question.

    I wonder if the team has considered something like this. I guess she depends a lot on pushblocking to keep the opponent at bay?

    Seriously, she looks to be a force to be feared. I saw her corner craziness and its plain scary.

    Yeah, even though it may not seem like Parasoul has a lot going for her, she actually does. She has the tears that are able to be placed in many spots. If you hold the button to throw the tear down upon execution then let go it deploys in the spot it is at when you let go of it. It can go all the way down to the floor. Think of Cable's grenades. She has her henchmen that assist her with canceling, blocking projectiles, and doing command grabs. She has options for standing overheads where the others in the cast don't at this time. She plays like a mix of runaway and getting the fuck in there. Think of Venom from GG. Believe me, she's pretty fuckin' good the way she is. Of course there are always going to be changes and we'll see how it goes come the final release.

    Ok, I'm sick of hearing everyone putting down this tourney. First off the sistas did a great job of throwing the singles and teams tourney. There were factors that unfortunately were out of their hands. It was the normal things like people not showing up to pools or just dropping out when they didn't feel like playing anymore. Instead of complaining why don't you guys take a couple mins to help them actually find some people who are up to play etc. All I'm hearing are people saying "shit didn't go well" or "man, they don't know how to do this stuff". While everyone was off having a great time at Evo these two were trying to make every ones weekend memorable. I was running Evo pools the whole weekend and coming from running tournies for years now know how hard it is. Whenever I got a chance I'd go up and see if there was something I could do. I'll definitely try and help out more next year instead of being someone who's bitching and complaining.

    Hey guys, no one's made a thread for this yet so I'm making one because as all you know Evo is now less than a month away and we need to start planning!!!

    Ok, so as you all know CS will not be released in the states until the 27th of July but will be released in Japan on the 1st of July. There has to be a bunch of peeps that are going to be purchasing the Japanese version of this game just to get the practicing edge over the rest of the community. If you are one of these people this tourney needs your help!!! I am in need of around 6 or 7 setups that will be officially dedicated to this tournament. Preferably on PS3 but a lot of people these days have dual modded sticks so even 360 would do. I will have one setup on 360 and hopefully can get a second on PS3 but I wouldn't count on it. Please, if you are willing to let your system + game be borrowed for both Saturday and Sunday please let me know immediately.

    Now for the tourneys!!!

    Friday:

    TEAMS 3v3

    Entry: $5 per person

    Sign-ups: 10am - 12:30pm

    Start Time: 1pm

    Style: Pokemon

    Sets: Best 1, Double Elimination

    Rules: No same chars on a team, Mu is allowed, No Boss Chars, Winner must keep same char, default game settings, the usual stuff...

    Saturday:

    SINGLES

    Entry: $10

    Sign-ups: 9am - 10:30am

    Start Time: 11am

    Sets: Best 2/3; Grand Finals: 3/5 Double Elimination

    Rules: Same as Teams

    Also, a very important note, it is very important that you stay close by for your match. See when you are up and make time for it. If you are going somewhere please advise a tournament director running this tournament. Leave them your cell number or some method of contacting you so you don't miss your turn. If you are not back within 15 min of being called you WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!!!

    Other than that, let's make this Evo the best there is. If someone wants to run a GG tourney along side this BB one let me know, I guess I can post it up in this thread.

    Is everything okay with him?

    Well, some stuff happened to my dad and I was gonna go back to Vegas to see him this weekend but I contracted a stomach flu. I seem to be getting over it but I don't think I would be able to handle long distance drives atm. Stream from AI? This is something I have been asking them to let me do. I do have to go down there and test the stream out first along with there internet connection because apparently it's slow as shit and wouldn't produce a good quality stream. I'm planning on doing everything Valentinesish Saturday morning/ afternoon so I guess after that I'll head down to AI. Of course, I wouldn't want to head all the way back home after that. If someone would let me crash the night I would be most grateful.

    As I said, something that needs to be talked about and resolved. I know we were trying to do one for CT last year and it never went through due to time constraints, people doing their own shit, some people not being there. Seems that these are the main causes every year. -Tha Hindu

    Definetly seems like a good idea. Wouldn't want to start gathering people just yet because plans do sometimes change for people last minute. I'll get together with some people and talk over what should and shouldn't be done.
