What the actual Hell is this victimized horseshit? This particular thread has never, EVER been allowed for a general BB talk. Anytime anybody tried to use it for one it got shut down. You think that'd be enough of a wake-up call not to keep doing it but evidently unless somebody says it outright you can't get the picture that a news discussion thread should only be for--*gasp*--news discussion!! Though then you go and pull this crap so the mods can't friggin win. You want a general BB talk thread, make one yourself. Don't hijack another thread for bullshit like this; this happens enough with the Jubei drama. We don't need your "YOU guys killed the forum, not Discord!!" crap bogging it down. And yeah, maybe the staff could've done a better job listening to suggestions, keeping the site updated, and actively working on keeping this place alive alongside Discord instead of just going 'ehh fuck it' but pretending they went out of their way to kill the forum to make way for Discord is stupid. Honestly not a lot of people even use it--Discord's far more overhyped than you'd believe. I hate the current state of DL just as much as the next guy, but holy shit, don't derail this thread and get pissed off when the mods actually do something about it. Go make a general thread if you really need one, or actually make a separate topic to call the staff on not caring about the site. But derailing another thread with whiny, pseudo-martyring crap like that not only nullifies any points you makes, but just pisses off the staff further, too. If you're not going to do anything productive, go back to whining about the voice cast or translations of whatever it is you like to complain about these days.

^^Can confirm. Spent all yesterday trying a bunch of different arcade mode unlocks for every character, hitting every act they have. Nothing unlocked for any of them. Looks like it's DLC only after all, gents.

It warms my heart to know that even so close to the game's release, people will still come up with the most ridiculous, off-the-wall crackpot theories. If Susanoo were in any way, shape, or form supposed to be Jubei, they wouldn't make it a character that's clearly tied in with Hakumen or Terumi based on appearance and name alone. It's got Terumi's color scheme and the Susanoo unit's body. Jubei has nothing to do with any of that. The Arcsys tweet is nothing more than them wording the phrase 'the cat's out of the bag' differently, and probably poking fun at people who still haven't gotten the hint that Jubei's never going to be playable in the process. Also, Susanoo's design is vulpine, not cat-like. The 'ears' have always been present even on Hakumen, and it's always been stylized more with a fox motif, especially the nine-tailed fox. (Hakumen's crest, the unit's hair spreading into the shape of nine tails when he uses Mugen, etc etc.). Susanoo's design is just another reflection of that. Seriously, don't read so much into stuff. It's bad for your health.

Holy shit, are you serious right now? Like, did you actually honestly write that and mean it? Because there is no way in fuck that's what they're doing. They didn't sit there and go "Screw it, people who love the dub get the shaft. DUB HATERS REJOICE, YOUR TIME IS NOW!!" I don't agree with the dub being cut and I think ArcSys has been making really questionable decisions as far as showing the overseas customers they care about more than just the cursory things to make the game playable here, and yeah this probably all could've been avoided if they stuck with Aksys. But goddamn, don't go saying stupid things like 'they're only showing support to part of their fanbase and don't care' like you know the inner workings of ArcSys, why they did what they did, and like there's some insidious plot to ostracize people who liked the dub or whatever.

No it isn't. Also, since some people are wondering given the proximity of the release dates if this is a sign of CF not having an English dub, recall that CS's Japanese and English releases were only a month apart and it had full English voice acting.

Revelator's PS3 version runs just fine. It's certainly not PS4 level, but it runs well enough on the PS3 that most people will not notice any slowdowns or issues with the performance. Your PS3 is either on the way out, or you're misattributing any slowdowns you encounter to the PS3 when it is something else.

Pro players have had to do this since CT. And have had to do it with every new release for any fighting game including a new character ever. Somehow, I think they'll manage.
