Well, after about an hour and a half, and only having one person to play with(a friend of mine) I decided to close the room.

Hello. I just wanted to publicize ahead of time that between 7-8pm Central I will be hosting a lobby for a couple of hours(most likely that long). If anyone is interested they can feel free to join. Microphones are encouraged but not required. It will probably be at most 5 people. Skill level is any. It is purely for fun and learning! Rules: 2bar connection minimum, No trolls, No sandbaggers. There will be some sort of consecutive turn limit. It will depend on how big the room is. I would like to stream it but that will likely not happen. I have been having serious freezing issues on my PC for some time and streaming exacerbates the problem. I live in IL. PSN ID=Arcknight9202. Look for it if you're on. (I just wanted to make this in advance since the last few times I have tried to play I have had some seriously bad luck attracting opponents)

I was thinking hard about whether or not to pick this up when I saw it was only $25 on Amazon(already?!). However, much to my chagrin, I checked around and found out there was an update planned for the arcade. I immediately smelled a possible console-expansion in the works and decided to wait. I do not want to get burned on yet another fighter. I also have no information on the state of the game's community. I have become quite a paranoid consumer lately.

Hmm I stumble in here only to find news of a brand new version of this game. Love Max just landed(dead in the water) in North America. I really hope this ends up being a patch. If this is something I have to pay for I will likely flip out. Also, that new character. What the hell? Perhaps I sound a little bitter. Maybe I am? Personally speaking, hearing any news about a new version of a game, I just bought, kills my desire to play it. This same thing happened with BBCP. NA releases and I have to wait for 1.1. Just barely after 1.1 lands there's news of 2.0. It just makes me not care. I am aware of the irrational nature of this, however, I feel my time is not being rewarded or respected. I would like for the meta-game to be more developed. It barely gets into the swing of things before something new shows up. Sorry for the rambling. Edit: Yes I know these companies have to pay the bills somehow.

I was just wondering how much of a community is going to be around for the NA version of Love Max? I look at the ranking leaderboards and see a whopping 350 people registered. There are 0 online games going most of the time. At all hours. I have to say it is really disappointing to have the community segregated in this way.

Wow this is definitely awesome news. Glad I came in to check. The question I have about it would be, are there any plans for a localization as with the previous version? Either way I will definitely look into it. I always loved this game even if I was the most terrible Heart ever.

I just wanted to state that that video database you guys made is far and above the current standard. Good job!

That does make a bit more sense. I just thought it odd that it was as useful as it appeared to be. It seems like it would make block strings more annoying to do with a threat of that happening. If it's punishable then it wouldn't be such a big deal. I have no experience in the matter so I guess all I can do is take other people's testimonies into account and speculate myself.

I don't run or use IRC. :/ I only use WLM and even that's being turned into a program I utterly loathe. It's not all together a bad idea though. Was just planning to play with a buddy of mine tonight.

Hey! I never got a reply back from you. You could have been training or afk for all I knew. I don't just barge into other people's games either. At least not usually. Also, that game was Tales of Graces F. Been working on the platinum trophy. Game is ridiculously fun. Almost finished too! 10x damage can die in a fire though.

I try to play at least once a week. I'll add you on PSN later. Maybe I can set up a major casual event this weekend. I've been narrowly missing the opportunity to play with other friends of mine as well. I have fallen out of playing fighters as regularly as I used to though. Waiting on CP is annoying.
