Edited: The Bomb Thing as WhiteWolf pointed out, is where GF rapid Cancels into a collider causing mixup, due to the collider being weakened, this seems to be no longer able.   4. They can't possibly make the curse worse than it is, right? But I have to admit, the use of the cloud on the ground is really a godsend. No more being skewered in the air by Nu's or Air grabbed by Tagers.
  5. I know nerfs are meant to keep things in check, but wouldn't it be better if characters were buffed than nerfed? I mean, I'd be a lot happier if my main and sub were buffed rather than to see a top tier get nerfed. So with that respect, I am very interested in how the characters are going to be balanced this time around.
  6. From what the JP BBS are saying, that new move shown in the teaser seems like a counter move or something, reacting to Litchi's attack. But going back to Arakune, I just want him to be god awful without his curse, and become god tier when curse activates. A little in between CS and CP Arakune. I mean, they can't make him any weaker right? What are they going to do, nerf his j4B? Lol

Story wise: Going back to Kagutsuchi, everyone doesn't remember who the hell Ragna is (judging by the phrases mentioned during the teaser PV), and Ragna has to save Noel again (since Ragna "wasn't there" Noel becomes Mu-12 again and wishes the destruction of the world)? All speculation based on the teaser PV, how CP ended, and from what I can tell from the interview (BTW thanks for posting it Zedar and Calamitus) ...I wonder how they'll end Ragna's story. Besides that, I guess with the addition of Active Flow, the game will support rushing in and attacking instead of waiting and being defensive. Also, just to get some clarification (sorry I do not read the novelized material) it's X-Blaze then BloodEdge Experience, then BB timeline wise, right? So is Naoto the original BloodEdge? From the interview it says he's an entity from another dimension or something so... (BTW Naoto kinda looks like Bullet + Ragna mashed together or something)
  8. Active flow... gonna be super good for characters like Tao, Maokoto, or any rush downers like what everyone's saying. But then again, OD benefited some more than others so I guess it balances out? (OD Hakumen vs Active Flow Tao) Just thinking Active Flow will really help Arakune's curse combos in gaining extra firepower. 10K! 10K!

  10. I wonder how the game speed will be like? Probably it'll be CP Game speed, but I kinda hope there's more hitstun all around.
  11. I honestly though the next title would have something that began with R (Crisis Rebellion or something) Central Fiction... doesn't seem too bad-ass to me. But that don't matter, its a new installment. That's what matters. Changes to the game? We'll cry about that in the upcoming weeks
  12. Well, this was bound to happen. I'm relieved that they finally announced the 4th Installment. And love the artwork, prefer it over Mori's for some reason. Hopefully this will get me back into the series again and my main Arakune will be saved after this horrendous CPEX installment. They can't go any lower with Arakune than now, so there's bound to be improvements. No offense to Tager though. He's good. But just want my insane curse damage with his horrendous normals back. BTW, I'm assuming Naoto isn't some fresh new character but someone who has appeared in other media, yes?

    Personally, CS≧CSEX>CT≧CP1.01>CP1.00>CP2.0 is my personal reference. I did like the simplicity of the CT~CS days. CP just became too complicated (inteface, player ranking, combos in general)

    My god is PSN that bad? TBH, I haven't played BBCPEX in a long time now. Just don't feel like playing the game, you know with the nerf bat breaking Arakune's knees and the amount of people online (plus not being able to train while waiting for an opponent and not being able to see the bar of whoever enters a room). IDK, the passion for playing this game really isn't with me for this installment.

    Hm... you might be right... Is there any connection issues with sticks out there though? Mis-inputs were my bane all these times. I just don't know what kind of stick a noob like me should invest in. I know I had this conversation before in the past but it just never clicked and I always went back to a controller.

    GGs to everyone I fought. I still don't know how to fight Celica, it seems like all of her attack has priority or armor or something. Also, I had the liberty of fighting/watching an Amane fight. That drill gauge isn't rising at all...

    Meh, it's just a combination of Arakune nerf (why?), new game mechanic, me not knowing how everyone else works (still have trouble with Azrael and what the heck is a Celica?), and .... Arakune nerf. Overall the matches I had were great. Not too many lag spikes is always good. I'll bounce back. If not in this installment of Blazblue, the next for sure. Hopefully. I mean, they can't nerf my main any more than this... right?

    Nothing really. It's just that if you main Arakune, dishing out 6 - 7k is normal in a curse combo. Getting the opponent cursed is harder this time around, and getting only 3 - 4k back out of the that is a little... lacking. That, and also what they did to the j214A infuriates me. Doesn't get me any closer (or behind) to the enemy, Nu's just a pain to deal with now. Hell, that was my primary means of getting around. BTW, just being salty with the new changes. It's a phase. I hope it ends.

    GGs to Azure and everyone else. No matter how much you grind in Training, you just get better by fighting another living being. PS: Sorry about the lag for anyone I fought recently, damn lag spikes make everything awkward, especially when either of us be doing combos. After that I'm just like..."My bad, please finish me off"
