I wanted to know... why is it that if you perform a jump in, upon landing you can always get thrown? Landing recovery? And are there any kind of jump in block strings that are throw safe?

2D CC 6K whiff 6K CH?! Never heard of anyone using the Spartan Kick(that's right) like that before.

GF FRC is great no doubt. But there's no way 2D CH GV is pointless.

Pointless how? You get huge tension free damage. Plus you won't always have meter to do GF FRC. And not doable? Please enlighten me....

I'd say it's more due to Sol players aiming for 2D BR RC SW combos. Even if players did know what Sol's 2D beats, that's what they will aim for because that's what they've been practicing. Of course knowing what 2D beats is a great thing to know. Problem is being able to react to it in time.

Incorrect. You can hit confirm with 2D CH GV. You just have to practice it that's all. How? Easy. Whenever you land a CH 2D there will be a slight yet noticable pause because of the increased hitstun. Go into training mode and try it for yourself. The whole hit confirm issue is the same problem as the whiffed BR/otg GF after a 2D. Players EXPECT it to hit out of habit not out of hit confirm practice.

Ugh.. that's is the worse I-no and Sol I've ever seen. How do you get hit with a FULL SCREEN CH Riot Stamp?

Oddly GV is mashing with timing. Annoying isn't it? Mash too fast and stop you might still not get the clean hit. Mash too long and the same thing can happen.

I suspected it was kishitaka. Just didn't want to go based off of colors....

Yeah Venom beats STBT easy as hell. And his AA is really good. Never forget that Venon has a really good high/low game with his TK MAd Struggle(236+S/HS/D) The S version is really good for applying even more pressure because he can easily contiue to attack right after it. The HS version is a mainly used to end combos with a Dubi Curve. And the D version great combo starter and it's a lvl.6 move. And watch out for Dark Angel pressure. It eats tension or jacks your guard guage and it covers Venom's actions very well. Watch out for that mixup. And I have no idea what the hell Ky0n01 is talking about. Venom's 2S CAN beat STBT. I do it often.

So why is it that Sol can land a CH Fafnir after blocking Venom's and Slayer's 5D? You mean to tell me it's still active? Or is it because the recovery from 5D is that bad? Venom's 5D is -12 and Slayer's is -9 whereas Sol's Fafnir has a 11F startup. Venom's 5D is in a CH state until the end of recovery but Slayer's isn't. What happened?

I think that's what throws people off about Sol. His mixup isn't the traditional mixup setup.

What the hell is wrong with the hitbox for BB? There are times that it whiffs. Even in the damn corner. I didn't experience that before in XX or XX/.

That's back when it was worth using. Now with 66% proration and ground slide, it's like ehhhhh.

For Sol, to me, he seems more poke heavy than a mixup based. So that's what I do. Sol doesn't have strong normals like May's to fall back on nor mixups like Millia to use either. I try to learn how to utilize his pokes.That being said, I feel Sol's more geared towards baiting than anything else. A prime example: WT setups. At one point or another your opponent will try to jump out.So what's the plan? 5K them into a possible Sidewinder combo. Or air throw or j.P. It's like Spirit Juice said. It's about experience. You have to learn to react to your opponent for Sol's mixups. People use Bandit Bringer? News to me. Nearly IMPOSSIBLE to land that on any opponent.
