  1. I personally thought that the theme sounds like a generic epic anime song (still enjoyable nonetheless), but I'd rather hear music that's more in the line of the Persona games. It's also quite a shame that they won't make use of P4 & (especially) P3's particular color shading of monotone & flashy colors on 'super moves' flash. As it stands, it's not gonna have an outstanding art direction. But I guess that's it's due to ASW working on it, can't blame them.     I don't know if it's okay to post this over here, but I've tested this combo: 5B, 6A, j.214B, 5B, 5D (DC), 5C (HJC), j.C, j.D (JC), j.C, j.D, 623D -> 236C -> 214D Damage: 2946, Heat Gain: 33 Notes: Works on Ragna, Rachel, Bang, Carl, Hazama, Makoto, Platinum. on characters that weren't included in the notes and it seems to work perfectly fine on Jin and Noel, so you might want to add them both :3. EDIT: It also works on Taokaka.
  8. @BBCS2 Discussion thread: Basically, yes. It seems like it. They haven't given out an excuse or anything. Probably "Micro$oft's" work... There has been quite a number of people raging at Sony/PS3/PSN, turning to 360/XBL. Not to mention that it has been happening much more frequently with games lately. I'm answering here because the mod doesn't seem to like the fact that I'm talking about Microsoft and stuff in the thread.

    @ElvenShadow: Totally a troll. It was never announced anywhere, not to mention that they want to keep their core fans close. Nice incomplete post you got there, haha. But I agree, having Sin, Raven, Valentine, Dr.P and Izuna would be great. In fact, it would be perfect for new characters. No need to create new -NEW- ones. They're actually very interesting characters after all. So, I jizzed when seeing this on Shoryuken. Now seeing this again over here made me jizz for a second time, or maybe my third.

  12. I've finally gotten it to work. But I'd like to try out my combos on an opponent that doesn't move... I'm not sure I understand the explanation on the setup website. Anybody care to help me out on setting up a Player 2?
  13. I am having difficulties right here. At first, I could boot the game but the keyboard didn't work although I've put the updated DLL and such. But then realized that I didn't put the plugins at the proper place. And when I did, it became impossible to boot the game. Any ideas?

  16. Good point, forgot to mention that. Doesn't change the fact that his combo is basically a 6C starter. Because it 5C > 6C does not connect on standing normal hits. EDIT: I have finally noticed that the whole time, the 5C wasn't included in your combo. Makes a lot more sense. But still, useless combo :/. Somebody brick me LOL.
  17. Yes, because 5C > 6C should only connect on counter hit. Go ahead and try it again because your combo is basically a 6C starter which honestly could deal more damage and/or give Oki setups. And get the habit of putting Guard after first hit. *facepalms*
  18. And there's that odd thing I've spotted right at the beginning. You got 5C > 6C (no combo counter appearing), then goes 2D and magically you've got a 2 appearing on the combo counter. Not legit I say, should be a 9 hit combo.

    But does it really make up for her lack of damage? I don't know, Tsubaki being able to do 3k-4k combos with a charge level or two seems to easily outweigh Rachel's shitty damage she gets even on the long run. Then again, I'm not one that should judge the tier list. Just giving my 2 cents.
  20. Match 1, 0:23: That 2D was totally asking for a 6C from Mu, haha. I'm not one who should critique since I'm still terribad at this game. Just had to say it. But one thing I've noticed is that you don't finish your combos a lot. You shouldn't go for so many resets because although it can lead to hell of a lot of damage, it gets pretty predictable if you do it all the time. Oh and corner combos. Work on them, you'd be surprised to see how better things get.

    Either you're too far away when you first start Sekkajin or you're not mashing dat C quickly enough, leaving a little gap between 5C and Sekkajin's first hit.

    That's what I thought. Nobody's gonna get caught by that sort of "resets". Not to mention that for an oki setup, it's ridiculously stupid considering the damage you could deal instead...

    First off, I was merely sharing a combo I was experimenting with, so get off your high horses. 2nd, resets don't work all the time. 3rd, this dumb combo only works on Ragna. I went on training mode and tested it on several other characters, to no avail. Not to mention that 3.1k is stronger and knockdowns as opposed to Sekkajin > Air Combo. Sekkajin > 6C > 2D > 6B > 5B actually connects Lao, so I'm not sure what reset you see in that. Unless you're delaying either of those, which seem high unlikely to work. I don't know what is supposed to be that 'd.5b', if you care to enlighten me on that one. And anyway, it's a meter dependent combo, there are lots of BnBs that have meter extensions, so I don't get your point. Jin does 2.4k in average off his safe pokes on normal hit (5B, 2B and 5C), excluding his As since it doesn't scale very well.

    Well, after reading your post I've decided to go on training mode and try new combos based off his. His combo obviously does not work. My combo requires 25 meter though. Here goes nothing: 5B(2) > Sekkajin > 6C > 2D > j.C > JC > j.2C > 214D > 6C > 214C. I'm pretty sure that it requires you to be at most midscreen away from the corner in order to pull off the last 6C > 214C. So it's not worth it otherwise. Does around 3.1k. I will test out more of it's variant and the combo itself again in different circumstances/screen position, etc.
