Fridays seem like a better idea. I might show up once in awhile. Can't really go to super twice in one week right now.
-
UCI has fight nights every Tuesday evening. The time and room varies but it usually starts at 5:30 and goes to 11:30, and is in Newport Beach A on the 4th floor of the student center. Marvel, KoF13, and SF4 are the three big games there, but we've been trying to get GG going as well. They tried it once before when it was released on PSN but nobody really cared so they stopped playing. The last two sessions have had a decent turnout for GG so if you have the time, come and give it a shot.

Wild Wallice: BB/GG -
Probably show up to Xie's Biweeklys on Saturdays and say "now is time for guilty gears."

Thread has always been dead.

Jyosua, usually we have casuals/tournaments at Super Arcade every other Saturday. Super Arcade is located right next to Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, where the 60 and 57 freeways meet. These start at 2-3PM and usually go till 12 or whenever everyone decides to leave. Problem is, nothing is going to be happening for two weeks. This weekend is Anime Expo, which just about everybody is going to, and the weekend after that is Evo so we'll all be out of town. After Evo, the events at Super Arcade should resume though. Hope to see you there!
-
I definitely want to level up for Evo. Let me know whats up.

Far as I know, there are no Extend cabs in the US at all. Super Arcade has a CS1 cab. James Xie hosts Rebel up at Super Arcade biweekly on Saturdays. This coming Saturday is going to have a session, so if you wanna come out and mash Extend, that would be a great time to do so. As Shtkn has mentioned, we also have tournaments and casuals at Frubble in Santee near SD on Friday nights. It'd be great if you could make it there.

Sanocon was pretty sweet. Can't wait for the next one.
-
I'll be there for singles.

For all of you in Cali who no doubt don't pay any attention to the San Diego thread, I'm reposting this here for you: We are having our first actual Blazblue tournament this Friday, May 4th. As demonstrated by our Stylish Unlimited tournament we had last time for shits and giggles, we now have enough people to run a reasonably sized bracket (15ish), so now we are going to actually have a legit tournament with cash on the line. Rules are standard fare: - $5 entry fee - Pot is split 70/20/10 - Best 2 out of 3 games - Grand Finals best 3 out of 5 games - Double elimination - Winner must keep character, loser can change - No Unlimited or Stylish this time (sorry guys) Registrations start when we all show up there, which is usually at 7PM, tournament will start at 8PM. Venue: Frubble‎ 9628 Carlton Hills Boulevard Santee, CA 92071 http://g.co/maps/jh9rc If any of you can, I implore you to please make it out and support the SD scene.

Oh baby, I'm hype. Its just us hanging out at Sanoshi's apartment playing BB, GG, and Skullgirls, usually till the wee hours of the morning and alcohol is usually involved. Its fun. Also damn, you're gonna be all over the place aren't you? That's pretty cool.
-
What time will they start? I can make it out again.
-
That was so hype. Good shit everybody. Did I hear you guys say near the end of the stream that you were gonna have BB singles tomorrow?
-
Rhapsody do you still need a team? Me and another guy from San Diego are looking for a third person. I play Jin, and he plays Tager. Let me know if you're down.
-
So we need a passport in our hand the day of the event? Mine will be here in a week. So I'm guessing I can't participate.

Rebel Up! - SoCal Danisen Season 1 OVER - [Finals Canceled]

So when are these gonna start up again or are we done forever and ever? -
Looks like nothing is gonna happen. Oh well. See you all at SCR.

Speaking of things at UCI, I went to the "Fighting Gamers @ UCI" thing tonight. One thing I noticed was that even with several setups and a stream station, there was still a decent amount of room for more. They're planning to have another one on Thursday and I'm going to see if I can bring a console setup. So the question to all of you in the neighborhood for SCR is, if they let me bring a setup for BB, would you guys show up and play? The event I went to tonight was supposed to run from 5:30 to 11:30 PM. I've still gotta check to see if they'd be down with it, but I think it would be nice to have a pre-SCR warmup. That is unless people already have something planned, and I don't know about it because sadlife.

I can make it to Super Arcade no problem. I am hype for loud arcade noises myself. Maybe they'll even have Technica 2 blaring in the background to recreate that genuine Arcade Infinity feel. -

Won't be able to make it to this one. Have fun guys. -
Yeah sure. It would be nice if an arcade venue that isn't FFA did ranbats/casuals/tournaments.

Had a great time, thanks as always for hosting Xie. Gotta say I liked the SBO thing a lot. Hopefully we'll come back to it as a special event again soon.
