In case anyone who checks here doesn't know, on Thursday nights Super Arcade is now running AC+R tournaments

while some people do go to JA from time to time, there are some like myself who refuse to patronize the arcade because of the owner's business practices. People have also been playing at Super Arcade on Friday nights, as well as sometimes on Thursday

What are the details on this? Dunno if I can make it but maybe others can.

yeah, this is an issue I was worried about in the first place. However, given the choice of Friday or only a possibility of hookup I think it's the better choice

sorry to anyone who got to Super later tonight to play GG; I heard that there were setups early but they got taken over as TRB started. I know Final Strike is tomorrow (Fri), but what would people say to showing up on Fridays starting next week instead of Thursday? Might my things a bit easier with no tournaments being run on that day. Lemme know

when are you coming and where are you going to be staying? We're actually starting to run hookups at Super Arcade during The Runback and new players are getting into the game, so there might actually be some activity here

yo man, thanks for dropping in. If you're always bringing a GG setup, Sanchez and I might start showing up to get some games.

There's a UCI gaming group on Facebook you might check out to make sure they will have P4 setups, as the gaming nights are largely dominated by Marvel. But there is normally at least one or two Persona setups as well. They have also been running ranbats every month or so for the game. I posted something in the FB group to see if maybe somebody would come here and talk about it, we'll see what happens. Not that I know of, honestly. The only places that have Gear/BB are Japan Arcade (in Little Tokyo), CalPoly Pomona and Round 1 in the City of Industry. There are a bunch of anime guys in the OC, however, so try to meet with them and work out possible rides to and from. Also, it's still kind of far but UC Irvine has been running weekly game nights on Tuesday and has had Persona as a rotating game

good shit to everyone who came out and played at FFA yesterday. I couldn't make the tournament but it was crazy to see small lines for GG most of the night, and a lot of good games were had.

I know some of the people working at R1, I'll see if there's anything they can do about getting new sticks on the BB cab

I'm for sure down. I gotta wonder how many people we'll get, as I expect most of the guys in the scene who've been playing for a while are right around that 25ish age. You really wanna make it interesting? Do it with #R or Slash Also, every time you frc you have to drink

Uh, but what about getting to play the japanese because they have that experience? I mean, I dunno your money situation so I can't speak to that. However, if you're only not coming because you think it's a guaranteed win for the japanese (especially when there's a good amount of money on the line all the way thru 7th), that's pretty bitchmade

Tight. maybe by June I'll have actually learned how to play BB and we can get some games in. Either way should be good times. *Let's all just play GG instead
