  1. 1. Don't be a dick 2. When games are updated they don't change as drastically as the difference between EXTEND and CP. 3. If you treat people like assholes...don't be surprised if you get treated like one. And thanks to everyone who actually helped.
  2. Yes I play other games.. p4a... Arcana 3... INJUSTICE... that is why I don't have time to learn combos that will be useless 9 months down the road. I have a full time job.. and 2 kids. I don't have time to waste time.
  3. In that case Maybe I'll just wait.. I played CS2, then extend came out and I hated what they Did to my mains Makoto and Noel. So I just stopped playing. I was referring to combos... I don't want to learn combos that will be useless in a little less than a year or so. thanks for the info
  4. What character has changed the least in CP? I haven't played BB in a long while.. and I want to practice up a bit before CP hits. TIA
  5. Tournament was mad fun.. Tigre.... do I still have a Cross Slash??? LOL.. I always forget I have that. I really should play more. Oh.. and I also forget I have DP Super.. Damn Alzheimer's.: ) played GG for the first time . Time to start grinding all games for next month.
  6. ^^LOL. I can't eat donuts.. I have to watch my girlish figure.. LOL..
  7. That is way out of my way.. I'm in northeast philly. If you can make it to center city.. then take the regional rail to Torresdale. I can pick you up there.. then after the tourney... I can take you back to center city.. That's the best I can do.
  8. I can bring my ps3. It has both Arcana and p4a installed. @ mikenapalm.... where are you coming from?
  9. thanks everyone.. i took everyones advice and i finally got it. not i can finally get past 87 PSR. i've been stuck at 87 for ages i also wanted to state that the attitude of the BB community is really good. i also play SSF4.. when i was first learning i would post begginer questions on the forums and i would get nothing but bashing and flamed for being a noob. at tournaments sort of the same thing..but since people are keyboard tough guys.. in person, people just ignore. i entered a BB tournament and everyone was friendly and willing to give tips and help me out.. i went 2 and out...but i had mad fun next tourny i will skip ssf4 and just enter BB luv it
  10. ok... so according to the system guide this is what an emergengy tech is: Emergent Tech: before landing, press A or B or C, totally invincible during the motion. so.. what you are saying.. is that i have to wait till after i hit the ground to tech roll? what about in the air? Delrian.... i will try it as soon as i get home from work. thanks
  11. ok.. i'm back for another noob question. first and foremost i would like to thank everyone who replied to my original question. it helped me TONS. ok.. now for my new question.. seems like i am unable to tech roll forward or backwards..in the air and on the ground. i always get just a neutral tech. i hold forward or backward and hit A,B, or C but it never works..it comes out every once in a while. very random. is there a specific timing to do it? do i actually have to tap forward and a b or c at the exact same time? i did the tutorial and it works fine when i do it there. i dont get it mash tech or no mash tech..i cant get it
  12. Update: it's amazing how a little bit of knowledge makes such a huge diffrence. So today I played some dude who usually whoops on me pretty bad. Don't get me wrong.. He still whopped on me. Just not as bad . . I was able to instant roll.. And get out of broken combos. It felt like I was playing a totally different game. Thank you to all who helped me.
  13. Wow.. Thanks to everyone for the replies.. Really answers a lot of my questions. So.. This is what I get... If I'm being comboed on the ground, just block. If being air comboed, it is ok to mash on A,B. I like that idea about Hitting buttons right before being hit. Very reminiscent of the option select crouch tech from SSF4. I will definitely try all this. Slightly off topic.. So I'm blocking my opponents moves on the ground.. I forget where I read it.. But I read that it's ok to hold up back + barrier block ( I think I heard someone call in "chicken blocking" ) is it ok to do this? I heard that doing this will be less viable in CS2.
