    Has anyone who ordered from Amiami gotten the email to pay for their preorder yet? I haven't received mine yet, which is a bit worrying since Amiami usually sends it out like a week in advance.

    But that requires you to live in Japan, or else your fake address will conflict with your billing address on your credit card. Unless they've added a step in where you can input a billing address that is separate from your real address.
  6. I think Toranshi is supposed to be balanced by how hard it is to get tension. Like, they want you to think hard if you want to spend it on Toranshi or Dead Angles or Faultless Defense.

    Command motion, then jump, then command input. It should be one smooth motion. Just don't do the command input too early or you'll still be on the ground. So like if you want to Tiger Knee Hakumen's Tsubaki (j.214B), it would look like 2147B.

    I don't believe Enma -> 5C works at all. CH Enma -> j.2C -> 5C works on every character as long as you are close enough. Non CH Enma might give you problems on characters that are really small, like Carl (also had trouble on Valkenhayn for some reason). Regardless of which version you are trying to do, make sure you delay the j.2C as long as possible.
  9. Kind of sounds like a mix between Ghost Trick and Ocarina of Time.

  10. It was an experimental point and tap mobile game. It had a cool time switching mechanic, where the player could switch between different ages, influence the world in that age, and then switch to an older age and see the consequences of their actions ripple through. Then we tried to throw a character interaction system on top of that. It failed pretty bad in the end. I'm still a bit sad my idea of a Pong X Fighting Game was not approved by the faculty. But then Bara Bari Ball got released, which captured the essence of my idea.

  12. My senior seminar at university was spending the whole year making a game, so I didn't have much time for Blazblue. Now that that's done, I can finally play Blazblue again.

    Interesting, I was never able to get it to work on several characters... I'll add it when I'm done with finals. Spark mentioned if you are in midscreen you have to Kishuu > Kishuu for some characters. It's on my list of things to test.

    Good to hear. I wanted to list out the easy combos for those who don't have the timing down for the J.A > J.B & J.B > J.A re-launch combos. I'm thinking of color coding the combos so it's easier to tell at a glance what each combo is (advanced or basic). Hopefully that'll help get rid of some redundancy by telling you which combos you can skip over. Yeah, you're right about it not working with A starters. I'll go add in the old combo as a universal. I can't get this to work universally. I did not consider character specific combos a high priority. I'll add it in later after I have more time to do testing. Once again, this is an issue of universability. Throw > Renka fails on Arakune and I think the combo fails on another character as well. This combo does not. It is true, however, that this is a so-so combo. Maybe I should take it out (¬_¬) . Got side-tracked at the time and completley forgot about them. Will do.
