  1. What, you want Blazblue balancing where everyone gets nerfed every patch instead? Guilty Gear has (almost) always followed the mentality of 'buff before nerf'. It is the way it is now because it buffs more than it nerfs. Bullshit is fun, people like having options.

    I guess we're gonna have to agree to disagree in our views of this. I personally believe I can make assumptions given limited information so long as I'm aware other things could have been changed but aren't listed. As much as having a complete list of all changes is the best possible outcome, that is pretty much impossible before release. I accept that it's possible things will change once the game is out, but until there I'm working with what is listed, and the things that are listed don't sound all that good. I do respect your view of it as well, and I guess that in the least, we can agree that we're only going to get a definite answer once the game is out and people start experimenting.

    Well. Yeah. I mean, EVERYTHING of this nature before release is a bunch of assumptions. We go "Oh no, this doesn't work anymore." or "So new X means we get Y combo route right?" because we're all basing it off the current version of the character, with the listed changes as what differs the current to the new version. I have the right to think my character is in a bad situation when listed changes would hurt his current version. Sure things might change, but it's also possible they don't, and thus we have to work with whatever knowledge is listed to us at the time. I will admit you're right in the sense that I'm probably reacting more than I should, mainly because it's more of a 'I was out for a while and I come back to this?' thing. That being said, I don't really trust ASW's balancing enough to stay optimistic when my character is showing signs of eating a nerf bat.

    Hard to encourage you to do air combos when you have no air combos to begin with. All of Sho's air combos are crappy, 4 hits stuff that is height specific, and none of the changes imply any real changes to that. Meanwhile, the 5B nerf together with losing 5B>5C>5B makes our ground combos a lot less consistent and sweep probably won't combo anymore, which screws over our average damage badly. Meanwhile Moon Smasher's damage nerf screws over our burst. Honestly, these changes aren't 'fair' at all. The buffs simply don't make up for losing such large amounts of consistency in our gameplay.

    The hell is with those nerfs? None of them were called for other than maybe J.B loops. 5B not KDing anymore is nice though, but doesn't make up for everything else.

      It's looking great! It has a section for pretty much all important fighters of the current era, though sadly they still seem to lack specific sections for characters and whatnot. Still, that is the sort of thing you do as the site progresses. My only problem is that the Twitch channel right in the main page can cause longer loading times for people with less than stellar laptops and the like, but that was probably taken into consideration.

    It keeps them in blockstun if you catch them during an air dash or whatever(rather than force you to go into J.C). It's not all that amazing but it's something. Agreed, fuck the Jin matchup. idk lol

    How about WT > TK SVV > 5K > TK SVV > Stuff? Can't imagine 5K adding too much height so it might be possible, but I wouldn't know.

    Quite frankly if they bring Male!MC\Fem!MC back I will lose my shit. It would pretty much ruin the entire ending of P3 and possibly the point of the whole game in general. I mean I love FemMC(though I dislike maleMC), but that ending was heavy and what it meant should be kept. Plus none of them can really bring anything new to the playable cast by this point.

    Can you do Fenfir after ground hit OD Fenrir? Because if it doesn't combo then it makes sense double Fenrir is no longer possible, due to forcing standing on hit now.

    Would it be possible to combo into Fafnir from Kudakero? I don't think Fafnir can be cancelled into so links are our only option. While we can do it from BB, I saw Sol do 6P after Kudakero. The startup to 6P and Fafnir shouldn't be that different, and it could possibly allow us to loop J.D more by relaunching then doing another Dustloop. Thoughts?

    Doesn't sound that practical, sadly. Maybe for catching standard DPs before they land, but sad it doesn't combo on ground hit for big damage punishes. Does 2HS still launches on CH? Maybe we can use that.
