It's all cool though I still don't get the colors system though. Perhaps I shouldn't be so concerned with it now that I don't think I'll ever "rank up" anytime soon

GGs to everyone I played in the Ohkoto lobby last night. Apologies for those who had to put up with my shitty Azrael; just started playing him about a week ago so he's a bit unwieldly for me and takes some time to get used to his movement and such. It was mad fun though!

It may be something I have to adjust to in that I'm usually a bit conservative with my burst and most of the time (unless the opponent is keeping me out for a while) they won't even have their burst gauge filled 2/3rds of the way entering the next round.

Just something I observed the past few nights playing online...why do most players use their burst the first time they get hit by an overhead early in the match (like Ragna's 6B or Gauntlet Hades)? Is it that common to burst early, to avoid EZ-mode corner carry, or something else (or all of the above)? It's like "I'm not gonna get hit by that overhead again!" but then you get hit by that overhead again

Any general idea of what the colors represent though? I'm seeing greens and reds and pinks all over.

osup I finally have this game now! Bought the only copy my local Gamestop had yesterday, and popped it in my PS3 late after work. Man, I haven't even gotten to the main menu yet and I'm already digging this game! thinking about picking up Hyde or Akatsuki but I'll try everyone at least once in Arcade mode guess I gotta start keeping up with this game again lol

I'm still not entirely used to the Lobby thing GGXrd does. Then again, this is the first time I'm playing online since I first bought the game on release date. I wonder how much everyone leveled up??? Are you still able to make private rooms?

Any of you have rooms open or should I make my own? I haven't played since MAGFest so I'm terribly out of practice

I have a room up right now if anyone's still playing this online. I haven't played Guilty Gear in a long while so I'm sure to be very rusty

Is there a specific code or something to unlock the alternate version of the Grave and Heaven stages (Kliff and Justice respective stage)? I've heard that you're supposed to complete Kliff and Justice's story paths to unlock them but so far nothing happened after I completed both. On the character select screen it shows the AC versions of the stages but I only have the Slash versions. Sorry if this sounds a bit silly, but this has been bugging me for a bit ever since I picked the game back up after a short break.

also why does Two Steps Forward > FB Hellish Charge dizzies your opponent instantly if used by itself but doesn't instantly dizzy if you combo into it (unless the opponent already has a lot of stun built up or if you started with something like a charged 6P)

jump H launches the opponent if Kliff actually completes the animation for it before touching the ground I think
