    The devotion to the character and spreading of tech is definitely appreciated... As someone who's been interested in Izayoi for a while (I haven't really played this kind of character too much before) where would be the best place to start? Just getting down a fundamental understanding of her capabilities and the function of both modes and her movement/neutral? Any advice would be appreciated but I guess I should just start off by watching more footage to get a better grasp of what her tools do.

    I have no problem using SB Agi but holding SB agi and doing maragi loops and detonating them while holding is weird unless you hold your hand in a certain way or claw the controller.

    Is Yukiko any more pad friendly in Ultimax due to dancing flames instead of maragi loops (even though pad woes can be solved just by mapping C and D to shoulder buttons but still)?

    5AAA 214A 5C is killing me...are you guys getting most of your damage off of arrow confirms or other stuff? I have a less than 50% success rate with this thing. Not giving up though I WILL play this character.

    ^ A lot of those routes and ideas were definitely things I haven't seen much of before (whiff 214A movement are we serious now). I kind of want to have some of these combos in my back pocket for a rainy day or a max damage punish or two. Mind listing the character specifics? I didn't think 4D 214A worked on everyone (I know there's a Jin specific 6B variant but never did any more digging than that...my 1.1 tech knowledge is severely lacking).

    Then you're pretty much restricting yourself to 2k strings. at best you're going to get off combos into 6A j.BCB dj.BC j.236C j.2C. Oki is only possible in the corner off of a 6A 6C(2) 6C 6B 22B...just be inventive because no matter what you're not going to get good damage off of anything that isn't a 5B or 5C counterhit and you're going to need a decent starter and OD/Meter to do comparable damage to what you could do with Drive meterless. That being said If you're using drive in a combo then it isn't mashing

    People need to learn that other people's opinions about the character you play really don't matter. I play Noel because she's fun. That's all that matters. Not to mention the people that I play with and the level I (usually) play at is beyond stuff like that anyway...

    I basically worded it wrong. The basic setup is just j.C block but j.C recovery cancelled j.D gives you both the same safejump if you choose to hold back and the option of drive mixup or a reversal bait d.4D. The first time I saw it before I saw Vista's vid was in this Jin DP OS video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qn0lS4_HGGs Then after testing it in practice mode but I don't see a reason to not use the drive unless you're like me and mess it up sometimes. Personally I time it better when whiffing a rising j.A instead of doing the drive setup...
