Without reading all the previous posts, can someone explain to me "shadow" characters?

I highly doubt MLG will be adding new games to their roster this year. And Persona 4, while a new game that may be great, hasn't got the best background and track record in games similar to it *cough*Guilty Gear*cough*Blazblue*cough*. I love them, but just being honest. Start with the grassroots scene first. If the Grassroots scene isn't that good, I highly doubt it'll be good on a higher level. Blazblue creator said he's not adding outside characters to the game. A bit outdated but link: here. Anyway, I'm looking forward to this. I have a question on rapid cancelling and when to use it. I know it helps you continue a combo, or stops you from using a combo that you are trying to get out of. I've just never used it in battle, and am wondering about the advantages and disadvantages of using it, knowing when to trigger it and use it effectively. Feel free to PM me about it

I am just wondering, I have done a bunch of reading around this forum and will probably get started on the combos thread for Noel later today. I understand the best way to use her is to close the spaces, get up-close, and get them combos in. Her 6A attack is really good, and can be used for a good combo starter to get the person into the air, and do some drive moves like diagonal bottom-to-right C. I'm still getting to understand the terms. But if anyone could mirror match my noel so I can save some replays and see how she's really played would be cool.

People generally play fighting games, with SFIVAE and UMvC3 the most popular, however people play a good amount of games out, including Blazblue (me for instance). It's in an area surrounded by asian (mainly chinese) restuaraunts. I was around there during it's closed openings, but now it's open to the public. If your sour about Chinatown Fair, a lot of vets from there are here now and this place is most crowded (active) on Weds, Fridays and Saturdays. Regards, Legit

I brought Blazblue Calamity Trigger during the first week of release, because my friend who is a crazy otaku thought I would be interested since I like fighting games. I ended up buying it, played the crap out of it. This was on the Xbox 360, I ended up almost getting 1000 Gamerscore, that's how much I played. My Xbox 360 broke, a few Blazblue games later, I ended up buying Extended on the PS3 and now I am here. So I guess you can say I've been around since the beginning of Blazblue.

This game looks awesome. I never figured that Arc System Works was so damn good at making fighting games, save Battle Fantasia crap lol
