This argument might have worked if the Death Arcana was actually referring to literal death, rather than accepting it as a part of life. And I never accused you of saying that. You asked "How is it a totally unacceptable stretch that Makoto/Minato/P3MC might be revived?" and I answered. A world's logic they must always be obeyed, whether the world is fictional or not. Ignoring its limitations is huge mistake if your goal is to create a decent narrative. If Liz actually does succeed in reviving the MC permanently then ATLUS might as well just throw all their notes on the Persona universe out the window. Liz may not be human, but the P3MC is. This MIGHT be acceptable though (if its only temporary).

The ridiculousness of the world has absolutely nothing to do with this. The way I see it, reviving a character from a meaningful death is undoubtedly one of the biggest ass pulls in any form of media. It's emphasized even more here considering the finality of death was one of the major themes of Persona 3. Why on earth should the narrative have to suffer just because some people want to play as him?

I hope to god that Makoto isn't in the game in any way besides being a fucking door. I feel like it would trivialize the entirety of Persona 3. I'm think both of the characters are gonna be from P4 somehow, considering the bottom part of the character select screen is all P3 and the top is all P4. Unfortunately, I haven't played Golden yet, but if I had to make a couple guesses it'd be Margaret and Marie.

Exactly, everyone sounds a little different when they have to speak up. During the story mode dialogue she'll probably sound the same as what you're used to.

Yep, now all we need is confirmation that Liam O'Brien will return to play Akihiko. Considering he just recently voiced Orlando in Catherine last year and Akihiko again in Persona 3 Portable the year before, the chances of him returning are extremely high.

I don't think I could ever imagine anyone replacing him, though I'm pretty sure he'll be back considering he was in Catherine recently. And I know Aigis (and Nanako) will be back since her voice actor stated personally that was excited to be able to voice her again. <3

HELL YEAH, though I couldn't tell what Chie was saying xD The voice is cast fantastic, as usual with Atlus. I'll still miss Teddie's old voice but his new voice isn't bad at all.

Fucking Atlus, man. I love 'em.
