    [P4A] Yukiko Amagi - Q&A/FAQ Thread

Console version has only been out for two weeks, so most people are just looking at her to zone and rush down. I think you see some go for a Fire Break or Fire Boost, but depending on who you fight they can let you do it, or they maybe in your face with something nasty. Still a great place to fireboost/break would probably be during your combo ender and you do Agi B right, since they would fly nearly half way across the screen. You can throw in Maharagi D (the one that travels on the ground fast) to keep them there while you either heal up, or do the boost/break... just my opinion... I tend to just use B.... It's habit, which I can hopefully get out of soon...

    [P4A] Yukiko Amagi - Q&A/FAQ Thread

Donnie> learn the Dia timing... Although not particularly useful, know hit box and start ups for attacks (especially All Out, since that hit box is huge). theoretically, if All out is invulnerable to most normals, you should be able to go through, or if they are in the air, rebound them, set up agi, set up maharagi, and then go from there... but probably knowing when to use Dia would save your problem... Just don't get baited... Or maybe utilize counter assault... Haven't tried that out myself, since I am worried about blocking strings and learning habits rather than countering...

    Arcade Stick vs Controller

I was playing P4u yesterday, and I had a chance to play on a pad, after utilizing GameCenter's Stick. Long story short, I hated the placement of the buttons for some reason... I got used to the stick, which is actually surprising.... Still can't do 236236 or 214214 inputs for god knows why, but you definitely learn how to use it after 16 hours or so of constant playing

[CSE] Lambda Simple Questions And Answers Thread

anyone have any tip for how to land Aerial D constantly? Like I cleared it in challenge mode, but the rate I drop is around 75-80%, and it's always either the first time I do my jc.D or my j2D on my first jump cancel. It some what works fine against Tager (thank you big body), but I rather not drop this crucial damage and heat source. Anyone got tips? Am I mashing the buttons too quickly on the PSP (probably part of the problem)? My second question is in Extended Challenge mode, where the opponent is jumping and you do 6DD > 2DD > 4B > 2DD > jc > .... I am getting confused at the 4B, b/c I either do nothing, or I am doing 4D. If I am doing 4D, I figure I am mashing buttons too quickly, but I feel that I don't understand the timing to pull off 4B...

[CSE] Lambda Simple Questions And Answers Thread

don't know if the 665D or the 445D is a combo tool (I can see as a pressure tool, or like a zoning tool to pick up people), but for like 445C, I've seen it on some tournaments, where in the corner, they did the 6C > 236C > 214D at the wall, and then they speed back on an instant and continue to pick up from a 5C. I've seen on the combo thread that there are inputs like 445 or 665, and just curious how you enter that (since I feel I know what it looks like, but is not getting the results) edit> or maybe I am imagining this as happening... I saw some variance of 665 movements but not 445.... hmmm....

another question: I am on CSII PSP (no comments on this matter), and I seem to not get these inputs... -665D: at times it keeps doing a sliding 6D, but if I delay a bit I do a 5D towards the end of the slide. Is that what it's supposed to look like? -445D: it doesn't come out at all -445C: it doesn't come out at all any pro tips on this, or are those input only for CSX?

is that 2147 input easier on the stick, or controller? I "can" do it, although the input is more 21478D, and I can only get it off half the time... Also for the person who asked the question, having the input shown to you will help see what the controller is registering...

    The "Picking a Main" thread

no that should be read as, Ragna probably is a rush down, but I can't do it properly enough (I am still not getting that timing for the staple 5B, 5C, 6C, dc 6B , X right. Not enough practice in my part, since I rather spend my time learning to effectively zone). I like infighting a lot, but I just can't do it with characters who should be doing it well (and again, it's probably because I am spending majority of my time practicing Lambda). But that's how I pick a main generally... Step 1: Fiddle with any, if not all characters to weed out what I don't want to use ever <- like seriously, if you are new to fighting games, you might as well touch every character to see what you like. I have gone through probably all of the GG, BB, and SSBM roster to find who I really like. Step 2: See if any characters that made your cut clicks with you <- this is still your button mashing phase, and there is a certain point where you learn from Button Mashing. So what can you pick up is what I am getting at here Step 3: Watch vids for inspiration Step 4: Try some basics yourself Edit: sorry, I keep forgetting to add one word, which should denote that "I" can't do it...
