    In regards to Butt in pressure, you can reset into like 5S 2D Butt; the 2D pushes you back far enough to make the Butt safe, catch / pin jumpers, and give funny frames without a cancel. It's pretty sweet.

    See, Danzai spam is something that is both characteristic of newer ABAs yet something you should exploit until your comp learns to punish it. (Important.) If somebody doesn't punish Danzai, ABA's basically unbeatable, as Danzai becomes a shoryu that takes up half the screen, is safe on block and leads to extremely high damage combos on hit. When I started playing ABA in Slash, nobody really punished Danzai seriously; she was new, nobody played her or knew anything about her, and I got away with a lot of Danzai. I was caught off guard when people first started really punishing it, but from there it definitely forced me to improve my game exponentially. It was a natural process. So don't sweat it if you panic button Danzai when you first start playing. :p Ideally, use Danzai sparingly and as intelligently as you can, and when you catch one, make heads roll with the following combo. I don't know what % of Evo players will punish Danzai, but I can tell you Kentucky loves their Danzai punishes. :p

    2HS FRC is great because you can rush a mixup if you need it and completely change the tempo of your pressure. Well timed 2K crushes anyone trying to get out or guess a dust, throw takes care of the rest, and if the 2K is blocked you've reset ABA right in the opponent's face for a complete 2HS pressure reset AFTER they've already blocked one 2HS. It's also a very safe way to get in there for a mixup. The issue with chaining 2HS into Rekkas FRC is everyone's going to IB second hit rekkas all day and act, plus Rekkas 3rd hit FRC even if they block it doesn't provide you with nearly as safe a mixup. The advantage you get is if you delay the 2HS and are fishing for a Rekkas HIT, since you can't confirm Rekkas 1 Hit into a Rekkas 2 Hit, you just gotta do it, they block the two hit rekkas and you just go Rekkas FRC. But people LOVE backdashing / SRKing the third hit, so I generally don't view Rekkas FRC as a pressure situation and more of a neutral situation (and block that dumb fuck's shoryu on that FRC :p) But despite all that, 2HS TK Orbs FRC is amazing. It doesn't provide as safe a mixup as 2HS FRC, but good lord does it crank guard gauge. The only issue is of course hitting that FRC in one of those two frames or die. (Ha! ) Also I have no idea wtf is up with the Danzai combo. lol

    I still check DL daily and make sure people aren't too confused by the key wench. Also, the more I play, the more I feel like TK Orbs FRC is more useful than 2HS FRC in almost every way.. be sure to mix up the two though since you can really force a quick mixup with 2HS FRC

    If you begin a combo when they have some cranked guardgauge and you're unsure of what to do, if you can hit them with a j.H it will auto-groundslide, and you can repeatedly combo c.S into itself when they're airborne until you run out of counterhits.

    Yes, you can JI for her j.S. For instance, any time you combo them into a 2S that hits them in the air (throw, run up 5S JI 2S, for example) you can continue with sj.jK, j.S, jump, j.S, etc.

Some of the combos are pretty similar at this point, so we'll be mixing it up more in the final. Also, stringing into a bloodpack is just what it sounds like, you gatling into a bloodpack. It's supposed to consume the item and (sometimes) safely transform.

    You need to dash in the first few frames you're given to act, then keygrab. It's that simple! It works on a certain number of characters (check my 101 FAQ), and it also works on Faust without even having to dash.

    A.B.A vs. Ky Japanese ranking: 6-4 A.B.A This matchup is in our favor because we have the mobility to deal with Ky's fireballs at max range, have the ability to play poking games with him that have higher reward for us, many ways of baiting and beating his SRK, and most importantly, the ability to crush him in two hits. Ky is far from helpless, however. Jumping in on him is a terrible idea, as his anti-air game is fairly strong against you and leads to knockdown combo. Your goal in Moroha mode is to get Ky in a blockstring; once you catch him blocking a f.S, you can start running your pressure game on him. You can punish predictable stun edges with IAD j.S, and predictable SRKs/Greed Severs with Danzai. A blocked and non-cancelled Stun Dipper (-15) gives you a guaranteed Rekkas, and I believe an IB'ed Greed Sever (-14 on regular block) gives you a f.S combo, at least up close. A blocked Ky 5D also gives ABA guaranteed Rekkas or f.S depending on how close you are (he's at -12).

    Hey Don (Tage), just saw your Finals matches with Jedimindtrick. Your ABA's looking really good! You really stepped your game up since I saw you at FR. You're mad consistent with the combos and you were reacting really well to his Dead Angles / Bursts too. Make sure you convert every j.H CH into damage, and get that normal mode throw combo xx keygrab in the corner down. That last round was tight too, lol, love the gold burst.

    @Whyte Sakura; Even Chipp can. If he RCs the last hit of his Vega bounce across the walls super, he can land, enter IK mode in time, and activate. I forget what Zappa has, but I definitely have seen him do it in a match vid before. I can almost guarantee he can do it off an RCed Raoh Upper.     2H, slight pause against most characters except like Ky, IAD j.S, immediate j.H, immediate Orbs. That's the best advice I can give. You need to gatling the j.S naturally into the j.H, that's all there is to it. Um, here's my 2H gameplan in theory Midscreen no tension you want to combo 2H (1) into Rekkas. That gives you a knockdown and oki reset. Midscreen 25% tension you want to combo 2H (2) into IAD, since you can FRC the orbs off of it for more combos. Corner 2H with any amount of tension is whatever the fuck you want, honestly. It all depends on the character, your tension, and how flashy you want to be. But in the corner, 2H xx IAD leaves you with lots of options post Orbs with or without FRC, while 2H xx dj loop leaves you with similar options. It's just preference, I think 2H IAD looks cleaner but w/e. Also 2H xx DJ loop depending how deep it is can set up a funny relaunch combo I figured out today in training mode, at least on Slayer

    If ABA drops it like it's hot and gets all +4, I like following up with f.S. This is the safest route, and generally beats the bulk of your opponent's pokes. When it feels like it's closer to neutral frames, EX Danzai is also a fantastic option, especially late in a pressure string when people get antsy to escape or swing back. Butt is a fantastic pressure tool that you all should explore; it catches jumpers for saucy combos on CH, can be RCed into combos / additional pressure, and can even be used as frame advantage.

    Pretty much anytime you combo into 2HS, you can string into IAD j.S, j.HS, Orbs, or dash jump j.S, j.HS, j.D, Orbs. The combo listed above is a staple combo of mine with two exceptions; I always FRC the first Orbs, and I dash jump your bolded j.S instead of regular jump. Doing that FRCed Orbs I'm pretty sure guarantees the combo on everyone with proper timing on your 2HS -> IAD. There are absolutely situations where you can combo off the first orbs into dash jump without FRC, but the FRC makes it mostly guaranteed.
