  1. It's pretty cool of ArcSys to do something like this, but it's a shame only the top 3 colors per character will make it to BBCF... Characters from Calamity Trigger have gained so many colors during the years that picking such a small amount of those colors won't end well... Worst case, someone could have all three colors picked from BBCP and all the really nostalgic colors would be left behind. __________ http://www.arcsystemworks.jp/index.cgi?eid=1626 BBCF and GGXrd-R test corners at ArcRevo have been cancelled for "safety reasons".

    Come on, guys >__> You know UNIst has the console version Training Mode. Same old tricks work as they did in UNIEL console version: set meter to "Infinite" and spam Gyre Vortex until you max the hit count. In fact, Detty confirmed that was exactly what he did to create that picture.

  5. No one posted a summary of the New System explanation from the stream? They talked about all kinds of cool info. Exceed Accel: All have a start-up hit. If it connects, an animation will play and damage is dealt. All Exceed Accels have invincibility from the start and are very safe on block. Holding ABCD for long activates Overdrive, goes straight into Exceed Accel and shortens their start-up Overdrive also ends when Exceed Accel gets blocked. Active Flow: Happens once per round and lasts 10 seconds Increases damage and Burst recovery rate Nearly doubles Exceed Accel damage You also get "Active Points" by doing "skillful actions" and "good reads". In addition to hitting, forward dashing and pressuring, you'll gain "Active Points" by blocking highs and lows correctly, countering aerial hit with head-invincibility move, doing Perfect Block and teching Throws. Negative Penalty takes away your Barrier, causes Danger state and gives the opponent Active Flow. Counter Hit: +10% damage It's not by per Hits but per Attack. Standard A attack is around 300 damage, so on Counter it makes 330. Carnage Scissors is around 2500 damage, so on Counter it makes 2750. So aiming for Counter Hits with strong attacks can give you a lot more damage. Fatal Counter also gives the same +10% Also, Same Attack Proration has been removed from nearly all normals - instead, now all Specials have it. SMP is now damage only, it no longer affects the amount of hitstun.

Of course, there's a chance someone might still change their character, but you get the idea which characters can been seen in the tournament. I wonder what that "Attention!" text is which comes when Nu hits Mu around 0:31. It's the 4th hit in a combo, but the attack comes from behind. Could be a sign for a cross-ups or something..?

Last page of the Famitsu article has an interview with Daisuke Ishiwatari and he drops some info bits. - Johnny was the most requested character, so they decided to add him. - Jack-O' is imaged after a toy box. It's cute and has all sorts of cool stuff popping out from it. Jack-O' is a character series has yet to see. - Elphelt brought elements from FPS-games. Jack-O' brings elements from RTS-games. - Updates on the graphics: Shaders on the characters have been changed. Rim light has been added (a light to ensure the character's borderlines stand out) Contrast and colors on a character changes in different stages. "Point light source" has also been added (Gunflame shines in a dark stage and when it hits the opponent they also start to shine from the flames) - Ishiwatari would like to hold as many loketests as possible. Listening to people's opinion and adjusting just once doesn't necessarily lead to a good result. - REVELATOR's story starts after the events of SIGN's story mode. "Merciless Apocalypse" finally makes its move... - REVELATOR's story is supposed to settle everything else than the fight between "That Man"

    Some sort of summary what French Bread talked during their Ustream broadcast. * It was tough telling "Something's coming.." all the time when they themselves didn't know when the news were going to get published... * Vatista's & Merkava's birthday is something they have to create since people request their illustrations a lot. * "Story glossary" is still in works. Look forward to it. * No panties can be seen in the game as long as Narita works on French Bread. * "I don't like how popular character Joker has become", Narita says. Joker is just a character idea based on a stupid joke about Arcadia magazine staff, but somehow he became well-liked character. No further plans of appearance, but if people really want him then French Bread will do something... * "With Seth" and other male character's plates might be made if female UNI fans will request them. Create some Twitter hashtag campaign or something. But please, don't force us to create "With Wald" plate. * Loketest was extremely popular. Much more popular than they had anticipated. * No plans for second loketest. * Even Narita doesn't know when UNIst releases in arcades. It's up to ArcSys. * After UNIst starts to operate in arcades, they'll check whether to release more characters or not. * Nothing to say about consoles. Ishiwatari just spoke during the ArcLive that Johnny's model from Story Mode couldn't simply be turned into playable character, but they had to pretty much re-create that model from a scratch in order to make him playable for Revelator. So, it has pretty much taken half a year to create Johnny... Also, balance isn't apparently changing much because people have really loved 1.10 balance.

    Yes, Phonon is voiced by Saori Oonishi. Source is this article where the other profile details also came from. (Picture to clearly things and in case the article gets edited) Phonon arcade story will probably be the only new thing... Maybe they'll reveal some new NPC character from that "EFG" organization or something to create more potential playable characters... I sure hope they use this chance to release a new disc with full Story Mode. Story is such a mess right now that they couldn't make a good sequel even if they wanted.

    So, Raito was streaming and shared some tiny pieces of info... * Originally they expected to update the arcade version in 6 months after the console version released * Exe:Late[st] is already pretty much complete. They can release it very soon after the loketests if there are no problems. * Game is completely developed by French Bread. ASW hasn't touched anything within the game * Arc System Works has told them what they should do, so the game would feel more like a new version. * French Bread is well known for not marketing their games. * Melty Blood sold well even without marketing it. But that won't work with an original work, like UNI * ECOLE didn't have too much resources to market the game * With the PS3 version, French Bread learned that you need a lot of help in game development * ASW are professionals in marketing and have funds to do so. This will help to gain more players for UNI. * Raito doesn't know if the new hud with Story artwork is final * Opening will change in Exe:Late[st]. Raito is not sure if the movie can be seen in loketest, but he hasn't seen the movie yet either * Raito is not confirming whether there's "Seth VS Hyde" song or not, but promises there will definitely be something new to listen... * Raito will be holding a new music listening broadcast after Exe:Late[st] starts to operate * He has been talking with Narita about holding a new UStream broadcast, but it's not decided yet * Raito was thinking that if they could show of the new things and balance changes in the UStream broadcast to the people who couldn't come to the loketests. * Raito doesn't know if they share changelog, but he personally would definitely want one. * Version select was researched.
