    Zone (IAD back j.s/razors/bears/f.s/ksmh p/j.p/2s). Be aware you can't do it all the time. Watch how your opponent likes to get in on you and react accordingly. Vary your mixups considerably but don't be so focused that you don't bait reversals. Jump on every opportunity and maximize the damage out of that. 3p more and more fb bears especially on the glitchy version. Get used to losing to players who are more experienced. Learn from those losses! Incorporate this knowledge into your style and keep trying. Well thats me! Big whoop for 2nd place in the last melbourne ranbats but most are still learning matchups (delay wakeup + throw w/ub on their wakeup x N lol).... so I took advantage of that. Oh and have fun! Bridget is the funnest char to play in AC without a doubt. Good Luck with the CV! Will it be a practical or flashy CV, Jais?

    I barely hit people w/dusts so why bother D=!! You have to REALLY get inside their head to land one. Anyways, that's a great dust combo that still doesn't make up for Buri's extremely visible AND slow dust animation.... I want 80% life for people failing to it (I know I'm a little greedy).     Dust Combo I'm using. D > homing > j.s > j.2s > 6set > j.s (j.p is easier to hit) > j.2s > roll > j.s > j.2s > jc > j.s > j.2s > roll > s > razor/buffer Since everyone can consistently block the dust I just use it for the lulz it seems to achieve.

    I'm having troubles landing 2d frc UB. I stick out the j.k while descending and roger always hits first *sobs* This might sound silly but... How do you zone effectively? That is what Bridget players should be doing half the time, right? + Am jump installing now It was about time too. + Glitch bears... yummy. + 2d far FRC UB... delicious. + burst baits... gourmet food. - Get frustrated when I screw up a glitch bear or re-buffer in a match.. that its taking its toll on my char overall. - not using starship enough.. lol. - not enough JI KSMH UB < will learn the hang of it soon. - I complain about other characters TOO MUCH.

    Delay wakeup > Back throw > roger jet > jump > j.d? Is this a solid enough option? Will it not get thrown by any chars? Apologies if this has already been mentioned (It isn't on the Unblocks list). Did Buri some justice in the Ranbats in Aus, Melbourne's growing Guilty Gear scene. We've got lots of catching up to do. That means I need to get serious and learn my matchups and actually own a copy to practice with.

    To punish a sol dragon punch your better off bating it and I read somewhere here that if you meaty with 2k you cant be Dp'd. Anyways I think you mean Bridget's okizeme game hehe. If you meant wake up then you can choose out of starship, holding hs (if yoyo is not placed), FDC glitch (guess you cant choose this one), backstep, fd jump/214k FD and um block. All this stuff must have been discussed somewhere in another thread.

    722: Thanks. I'll begin to work on some of that. Must you space to land at 2k range to not get thrown? I thought they could just grab you in the landing frame(s)? When do you roger hug, if ever? Should you succeed in hugging, what should you be aiming for? Jais: Sure! I'll make sure questions/opinions of that nature end up in the dedicated thread.

    So its viable mix up going f.s | 2s > 2k (whiff) then just blatantly stop instead of f.s > hs to avoid getting hit by the car? 722: I've just begun to use j.k for the rare jump-ins that I perform and while it has its great advantages... this being great angle, jump cancel-able, quick startup (whats the recovery time ? I cant remember) and can be used early to then descend to jc | FD an AA/shoyru attempt Or throw out another J.k! A problem is the range and after I land a blocked j.k what are some of the safer pressures from that for both with and without yo yo if you can spare the time.

    Nephi: From what range is she using this? If 2d/3p doesn't win then your better of jumping and throwing out that move? To let you know why I spam MAMKM is because it presents a dangerous mix up that is extremely hard to see and leads to the BnB that we all want to land + the invulnerable time and the fact that its not a super hadouken. You'd really hate Ken players on 3s. Enlighten me as to where tension should be spent other than whiffed star ships since it is the only thing that I ever use outside of rcing for the BnB. And for Butt CH I personally use dashing 2k to follow it up. You could do a 7/4 set into a dashing combo I assume? CV I once saw for used a setup for roger jet that included 2d knockdown frc. Does this give you more frame advantage than KSMH p or is this just fancy game play?

    Wth man it does? Man I'm seriously gonna go check this out because I still don't believe it... This will be really helpful if its true but I doubt it so badly. People do jump out of my roger stuff but people already know I give perfect chances for jumps/reversals. 722: Your combo looks like it needs a tall person to be hit standing with a overhead. You can argue that this is possible but it isn't really practical to use something that barely hits. Video of this please? I've never seen 4 j.p and its looks very iffy/unpractical but then so am ! 6k is not scary until Buri has 100% tension! so any time i do it w/out tension its like lol 6k'd in your face and the match seeriously becomes a stand still because of all that recovery/hit stun time. Even though you get two hits it feels like it wasn't worth it if you didn't RC and its a real momentum killer for #r buri. Btw in c.s > RC > 6k is almost guaranteed hit and its my favourite match ending never fail cheap shot This works much like baikens 2d > rc > 2d if you play against/use baiken.     No, its fine! I can perfectly read that! Yeah the damage potential is lower but the overall damage was nerfed because of what you can do in the extra 2 hits. If your opponent is stupid enough to fall for the first move being 6k then the follow up for #r is like so... Roger rush coming from behind opponent > dash > 6k > dash > 6p > c.s > Jc 9 > Land other side > 6p > c.s > 6p > 2d | BnB if you really want something flashy but it has not that really much damaged tacked on (guard gauge is pretty much gone by here) but it looks SOOO flashy and its seriously worth it for casual matches because anything cool = win here. Roger rush from behind > dash > 6k > c.s > jc 9 > 6p | c.s (critical point is to stop attacking when roger hits) > D > Your favourite dust combo. Roger rush and the opponent attacks > FRC > FAR S FTW Best situational combo i've ever landed with roger was on this extremely good Po player which made this look even better lol. Roger rush came from behind Po > dash > D LOL ZOMG HIT JAP WITH D (something i'll probably never see again) > s > Hold 8 > roger hits > s roger hits > s > roger hits > s > roger hits > s > s > k > s > k > s > 2s > jc > s > 2s. After landing that on his smug face I didnt really care that I lost pshh that will teach him to grab my crew's slayer player burst 8 times in a row xD and to IB slayer Dandy step > kick 1st hit then gold bursting the 2nd hit. Thanks 722 but descending k that isnt comboed/deep enough = free throw for me it seems. And does K > 2s or p work in slash? If so thats another reason why you'd use it and I wouldnt. Since I do not get the option tree for k and have to go k > s > 2s or k > deeeep s > land combo which is tricky has hell to land/height specific. My post is far more jumbled :P

    3p before the butt is fully extended wont get eaten alive by slayer right? I mean I dont wanna be giving him any more matches for free. Man I had a go at slash and woah f.s and hs 6 got owned bad. Thats enough there to make me wanna quit. And err your crew can block strings using mamkm of 2k 2k 2k 6k O.o or do they use DA? or throw you?

    After a throw what should I be doing because usually I go 6 set > back dash > f.s meaty > roll + recall + airdash (done really fast) > land > throw/ j.p > j.2s > land > c.s/ land > 2k Or the risky one which my friend learned and is able to punish me easily for J.2hs > recall/razor meaty > land > 6k/2k > knockdown/BnB/throw. Can I improve on that? Can you give me other oki set ups off throws?

    You're probably holding the 6 from Starship's last directional input so I recommend letting it go neutral and cancel by pressing pks > 6.s (inputted as fast as you possibly can) Rolling Idou FDC has how many vulnerable frames? less than 5 pwwwease? *hopes* Can you duck slayers J.hs? (forcefield hand bullshiet/hit box 1000 times bigger than what it seems) Not a deep J.hs because thats just plain obvious.... Best move to use against slayers 6.hs "standing"? Sorry I have serious slayer issues (playing #r and if any of you had this match up you'd know what it feels like) Any 6hs in the air means dizzy/VERY close to dizzy state for you Any 6hs CH on the ground means 40%-50%~~ average damage Invulnerable mappa punch has lame written all over it. Any round i've ever won against a good slayer is because I didn't get hit at all.
