GGs to everyone. Thank you Nemisis for beating me up like that (I would have taken as much as you were willing to give, but I have to go do other nerdy stuff). Sometimes I just need to be hit as hard as possible in the face and to not be allowed to get away with anything. Hopefully it'll cure me of bad habits and force me to solidify my game. Assorted mental notes: Holy crap am I ever going to learn not to 2D like that? Every time I pushed it I'm like, "You idiot! Why are you such a terrible player. Stop that, you are a bad person." I apparently can't find my 1 and 3 inputs today. Well, moreso than normal. Hooray for stomps and grabs when the opponent is on the other side of the screen! I need to get better with... the entire rest of the cast so I can replicate crap to find the holes. Fingers, please.

GGs to everyone I've played in the last few days of my return to this game after my lengthy hiatus (not that my absence was notable). So apologies for any and all badness beyond the norm as I get back into the groove. Nemesis, one day, I hope to be able to force a real fight outta you instead of lulzy disrespect aggro that I don't know how to stop.

GGs to everyone I played recently. One day I will not drop all the combos and actually start to look like I know what I'm doing. This is a thought that crossed my mind frequently. Seriously, though, don't worry about it. Everyone starts there, so anyone actually worth playing with should be willing to play with you (that is, they should never turn you down on [precieved] skill alone), provided you make an honest effort. You are wasting no one's time if you are giving it your best, and don't let anyone, yourself included, tell you otherwise. Don't sweat getting perfected. Ever. This game can be/is super snowbally, so it's a thing that's just going to happen from time to time. Sometimes every guess is wrong. If you're just staring out, they'll be wrong more often. However, the average frequency of incorrectness is inversly proportional to how long you play (provided you try and pay some attention), so it'll get better. I think this has been adaquately taken care of by everyone else. If they're bored, they'll leave. Otherwise, just keep hittin' buttons (or don't if that's getting you counterhit all the time).

Clearly I must make an even more ridiculous allegation in the future! I still will never ever tech a throw. It's OK. You did better than whatever the heck it was I was doing. Wish I wasn't such a fighting-game imbecile.

I do! Then again, I'm one of those wierdos that enjoys playing mirror matches. And thinking about last night a bit, when you were Jin, it seemed to me you were going exceedingly DP heavy. Why? And do you have any specific things you noticed that I could/should be working on (aside from actually completing my combos)? GGs. Wish I could use multiple characters competently (or even one, really). I was gonna say, I was recording the entire thing for study and such (not intending to upload anything), if you wanted me to pull out any of the matches (and that one in particular), let me know. Link me once you upload that, please. Yeah, I pretty much did a Tager impression when that happened. Only with a voice about 5 ocataves higher.

I'm not even going to question that last sequence. I'm just gonna accept that it happened.

I'd be willing to be your punching bag, assuming you've not found a more level-appropriate target and our connections decide to talk to each other. Though if you've not found anyone, it might just be a better use of your time to go straight to that other activity. I think after the 10th throw > combo in succession it stops being Oki. I wish I were kidding.

I've never gotten a headache from him. Despair and Depression? Yes. But never a headache. Any cranial pain I feel is just me tearing my hair out at not teching a single throw event though that's all he's hit me with for an entire set.
