Based on the trailer, Hakumen either has a new D counter, or his counters now close in. He did a counter on Koko, dashed in and then grabbed her. You can see his location at the start of his mini segment and he gains a magatama after the slam, so it's not a command grab.

It's really funky and I don't think you can. All my PS3 friends say they see me as though I was offline when trying to invite me and I can't invite anyone from my PS4. PS3 people also can't enter PS4 private rooms by searching the room ID (because they have no way to enter that ID). Hosting a password-only player room is sometimes visible for the other platform, other times it isn't. The only way I've managed to play matches with my friends so far was going into an empty region, hosting a room, calling it "PRIVATE" and telling them where to go. If anyone random decides to jump in, we do the quick message "Please check the room name" and remove him unless he's only there as a spectator. In other words, the entire process is more convoluted than it needs to be. It's good for longer sessions, but if you just want to jump in and play, the new Network system is absolutely horrible.

Gonna have to go through some hoops for those PS+ colors...

DLC isn't cross-region. The only reason HK and JP versions work with each other is because they count as the Asian region.

1) The dialog in the story mode is really well-written. I only noticed one typo of "your" instead of "you're" but that's about it. Menus seem fine as well. 3) I can only compare it to BBCP and it's identical in performance for me (EU here).

Do regular throws have priority over command grabs in Xrd? I tried Potemkin's command grab yesterday in online play, but the opponent's regular throw kept coming out first.

Is "Big Blast Sonic" anywhere in the game? I went through the entire story mode and don't recall hearing it. Kinda odd since it was one of the hypest songs in the trailers.

What happened to Ky and Sol's Thunderseal and Fireseal swords, since the ones in Xrd are different?

If a single character changes the metagame to the point where the majority of the cast has to sub someone in order to deal with said "OP" character, it's unhealthy for the game on multiple levels. Assuming that Kokonoe is too powerful, sure, there is a solution to deal with her: learn a hard counter character, or pick her and be a better Kokonoe in a mirror. It's not impossible to defeat her, but if people feel like they are pigeon-holed into certain solutions just because of this one factor, then the game becomes stale, people get frustrated and you limit the variety of the cast. It's hard to come to a middle-ground in this discussion though, because if you play Kokonoe, you like the character and don't want her banned. If you're not playing Kokonoe and happen to play someone who is easily destroyed by her, you want her gone until she's "fixed".

Like mAc said, an Agito from a higher height is generally more practical and gives you enough time to do a jB. Hop Agitos are only good as cheap scare tactics when people don't expect them (since they come out really fast), or, if you're timing it really well, doing fancy cross-ups against blocking opponents.

I haven't gotten around to playing the AC story mode (only played reload and read about GG/GGX), so was wondering: is the animosity between Ky and Sol at "rivalry" level, or does Ky despise Sol's guts infinitely? Or something in-between? Also, does Sol not give a damn about the rivalry, or is that just for show?

I need some proper practice myself, so feel free to add me. Not sure about tomorrow, but if you see me playing EXTEND anytime, just send a message.

I usually just open a room and go do stuff on my PC until the gamepad starts vibrating loudly with happiness against the desk. Longest wait I've had that way was 20 minutes possibly.

Gee, trample over my morale some more :P But yea, I enjoyed watching the matches between you two. Shame you can't save other people's replays.
