The only unlockable that can also be bought as DLC is Sin. He can be unlocked for W$200,000. Everything else is either unlock only (music, art) or DLC only (Elphelt, Leo, colors, announcers). -

Thank you. I'm glad people are getting the idea. Also, as for complaining potentially scaring people away... maybe? But you're free to discuss the game as you see fit (in the proper threads pls). There are plenty of sites heaping praise upon the game to balance us out. For my part, netplay since 1.03 has been plenty smooth in my experience. 3F delay to locals without slowdown. Need to play more in general, but it seems fine. Bear in mind that no netcode will magically make every connection playable. Wireless, packet loss, distance, routing are all still real problems. The game seems to do a better job of setting an appropriate delay, but ping jitter can still cause issues if the game doesn't adapt to it fast enough. And of course there are still desynch issues, but even "the god tier" GGPO has those. For what it is, the netplay is solid. -

To clarify: color 13 is the Christmas color. It's available for free to all users for a limited duration. Japan: 12/18 until 12/24. USA: 12/23 until 1/13. Color 14 is the PlayStation Plus color. It's available for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers, also for a limited duration. Japan: 1/8 until 2/3. USA: 1/13 until 2/10. -

From +R? j.D's startup changed. From #Reload? Shrug. Kedako did frame-by-frame video and found the hitstop was the same from level to level, down to the frame. Only real system data that changed was FD blockstun for level 2+ (3+) moves. -

Stage is based on the character making the selection and auto should be the opponent. That's the criteria for the arcade stage/music selection, at least. -

I've only ever seen it called "Options". "Calm Passion" was an ending theme. -
So I've learned that using RC to extend combos isn't always the best option, since RCs impose additional proration. This, on top of Potemkin's moves already taking off big chunks of R.I.S.C. gauge, means you won't necessarily see a big damage boost for doing so. As an example, I wanted to see what sort of damage I could do with 2H. 2H does 60 damage to Sol. Heavenly does 153. (It should do 170, but I'll talk about that elsewhere.) 2H > Heavenly does 193. 2H > RC > 2H > Heavenly does a whopping 195. So yeah, take into consideration your opponent's current R.I.S.C. state and how hard-hitting your attacks so far are. That same combo does 244 damage at just 25% R.I.S.C.

No. Input a jump during hitstop. Hitstop is the same as AC. Generally speaking you can only get counter hits during startup and active. -

It seems like it may have advance input for a few frames (3 or so), but I've not seen any confirmation. You can only use the 7th color in a mirror match, if both players select the same color. It is not selectable normally. Heavy Day plays during the latter half of the Attract intro. -

RCs happen immediately upon input. In the case of Red RCs, these happen instantly. Yellow and Purple RCs begin their startup right away. You can't buffer an RC during one attack and have it occur during another. -

It's 5,980 yen, a 6,000 card is adequate for the game. You'll need more for the colors, Elphelt, and Leo (and the Sin unlock if you go that route). -

That copyright notice is probably because it has to be on the purchaser's account to verify the release time. It shouldn't come up once the game is properly released. -

Make sure you're not pressing 2, 2, X. It needs to be 2, 2+X. It sounds stupid but it's important.
