    keeponrock.in Support and Feedback Thread

Just stopping in to say thank you for the work!~
  2. After the front page thread is over, could we have another discussion on JUST mods? I think that's the next step for dustloop. Not only do we need active mods, they also need to be competent and ALL on the same page. Ragna forums can't have everything done one way and Jins do everything another way. The problem I'm seeing is inconsistency all through the character forums along with inactivity. How is it that Faust Combo sticky is empty almost a year in? There's a normal thread that has more combos but it's disorganized. In regards to dealing with power users, I actually do NOT see the problem with just handling them like every other forum does. Warning > Bigger Warning/Small ban > Mega Ban.
  3. I actually LOVE that new layout for the wiki that Yohosie made. Linking the forums on there too is such a good idea. I don't agree with having discussion on the wiki though. I think it should all happen in one place. But I do think there should be someone making sure there's a sort of "Information sync" between the boards and the wiki. Could be the mods or just rely on the community. So if the combo thread gets updated, we should make sure it is replicated to the wiki.
  4. Dont be afraid to be a strict because a couple of bad users got angry. If the rules state "misinformation will be deleted" they KNOW whats supposed to happen. Think of it this way. You shouldnt infract unless you can point them to the rule they broke. Once they see that if they bitch its completely on them. I kinda feel bad for anne. I agree with most of what hes done but lack of strictness from other mods made him seem worse. If we lose some users who ignore mods and forum rules its better for the site anyways. Tldr Im all for stricter mods. We just need to find some good mods now
  5. Its been mentioned before but the forums are a bit cluttered. I think the layout that fits best would be something like: News Welcoming >find scene >intros Tourny Stuff >Upcoming >results (with seeding points idea i had before) Games >General (some gameplay, story disc, censored art -_-) >Competitive (general tech discussion, loktests) >characters (combos, char specifics, video analyzing, ) Mod boards >COMMUNICATION BETWEEN MODS TO SHARE IDEAS AND IMPROVE THEIR OWN BOARDS Chill off topic boards >>Be weebs This isvery broad but i think it we almost have it. Like i mentioned, i definitely think mods should have a place to discuss amongst each other things like how to deal with certain situations, which thread to stcky, etc... Also inactive mods need to be removed. There are many more people willing to take on responsibility
  6. Maybe it's too early to think about this, but Im suggesting a system similar to smashboards to reward players for placing well in legitimate tourny's. It looks like this http://smashboards.com/threads/civil-war-vi-evo-seeding-points-500-melee-pot-bonus-results-richmond-va.352463/ I know the way it works is that the person who created the Tournament Thread goes in and posts the results and players "claim" their name. After mod approval their account gets added next to the results and those points are awarded to players. Of course This is probably something difficult to do with our small scene but I know for a fact it's given many players incentive to post about upcoming tournaments and even go out to some. Just a thought for the future
  7. Does anyone know if BB will be both singles amd 3v3 or just 3v3?
