    [CT] Hakumen Combo Thread

My bad, you probably read the posts before I organized them for clarity. Even if the 6C is a counter hit and the opponent is crouching and you're fairly far away there are situations where you can get better damage. You may also not have or want to spend 4 stars.

    [CT] Hakumen Combo Thread

After a CH 6C: Opponent is crouching: That's true if you're at midscreen and have 4 stars and are at a range where the sword part of 632146C will hit. It's also true if 632146C will kill the opponent. If the opponent is near a corner it's better to do 623A, etc. Same deal if you have less than 4 stars or you're at a range where the sword part of 632146C won't hit. Opponent is standing: At 6C's very furthest ranges I don't think you can follow-up a CH with anything besides 632146C. Opponent is in the air: Probably 236A, etc. Pretty sure you don't have enough time for the second 6C if they're in the air anyway.

    [CT] Hakumen Combo Thread

Edit: This depends on range and other factors. See my next post. You can't combo after 3C unless it's a CH. Doesn't matter if they crouch. Also, 5B can hit crouching opponents if they're in hitstun. So j.C 5B will combo vs crouching opponents as well as standing ones.

    [CT] Hakumen Combo Thread

2 stars, midscreen, works on everyone except maybe Carl: (optional super late j.C, land,) (5C or 5B (most practical after j.C) or 6A)>623A-A>9, f.C, land, 2C>29, j.2C, j66, j.2C, (possible j.2C or j.C) = 3.1-3.8k 214B might end up being better for corner combos due to reverse proration. 9 = jump forward 29 = super jump forward j66 = air dash

    [CT] Hakumen Thread

Until Arakune marks you he is your bitch. Keep in mind that Hakumen's 5c, 3c, 2c, 6c, j.c, 41236c, j.214c, and 632146c will all disable any projectiles they hit INCLUDING ARAKUNE'S CLOUDS and will then still go on to hit your opponent. Hakumen's j.214b will beat out anything Arakune does in the air except possibly his super. Many of Arakune's common moves are counterable on reaction. Most Arakune players like to start his jumping downward-hitting 2348907238904 spikes move early and you can counter this with 5d or 6d. If he does his cross-up dive you can 5d it. If you get marked you should try to use 6d against bugs as often as you can because you are strike and throw invulnerable for the entire animation and if Arakune happens to be near you when you activate it you will grab him. Be patient and watch carefully for mistakes and while this matchup, in my opinion, is still in Arakune's favor it is definitely winnable.

    [CT] Jin Kisaragi General Discussion

Does anyone have advice on the timing/spacing for the 5C6C link? I can't land it consistently.

Minor updates to the first post. The Wikipedia page has a lot more info now. Here's a picture showing all the revealed cast except for Cosmos and Chaos.

    Final Fantasy Dissidia

OP updated with latest info. Still no release date but the game play footage makes it look neat. Changeable character equipment doesn't bode well for game balance if you can use it in real matches.

    Final Fantasy Dissidia

All I really want out of this game is Judge Gabranth. It'll be crazy if it extends beyond the mainline FFs and has some characters from Tactics, bust out some broken Cidolfus Orlandu shit~

Whoops. I actually uploaded it to imageshack specifically for that reason then linked to the 4ch image anyway . Anyhow, fixed.
