That is pretty much how I had my buttons configured since GGX. That zig-zag pattern worked for the Vampire/Darkstalkers series, and it works for GG.

After reading that, I am pretty sure that I heard most of what was written there 10 years ago when I got into Guilty Gear.

As hilarious as it is, the egg laying neatly explains how Dizzy could have been born 2-3 years after Justice's sealing. And for extra points, a long time ago, someone on TvTropes compared Justice to the Queen Bee (thus making the crotch-spike a visual metaphor for Queen Bee's ovipositor).
